  1. Lets hope not. Hopefully a team that allegedly emphasizes special teams realizes the value #11 has. He impacted our games positively as much as anyone on the field. I do recall him not fielding a handful he should have fair caught.....but still. Dude consistently flipped the field for us. Several games we won he was pivotal in momentum and field position.

Only if he is part of a trade for another player at a more needed position would I be OK with this.

Mckelvin, freddy jackson or mcgee could esily flip the field as well.

  2. I have peered into the future with the help of Miss. Cleo and her crystal ball. I have seen the following.

    1) The Bills shored up their offensive and defensive lines through the draft.

    2) Brandon with bullish offseason moves and a good draft becomes executive of the year in the NFL.

    3) The Bills win their first international game in Toronto

    4) TO gets 10 touchdowns and allows Lee to garner another 10 giving the Bills their most potent passing attack in 8 Years.

    5) Mckelvin, TO, Stroud, Whitner,POZ, Morman, Edwards (as an alternate), and Marshawn make the pro Bowl.

    6) The Bills win their first round playoff game against the Titans erasing the Music City Miracle , but lose in round 2 to the Steelers.

    7) This year marks the turnaround of our franchise and the beginning of a new era.

    8) The bills finally draft a tight end good enough to replace Pete Metzallars as the best Bills TE ever.

    i'm always optimistic, but wow

  3. He is not only our best punt returner - he is one of the best punt returners in the HISTORY of the game. You obviously do not appreciate special teams or the importance of field position

It also would be nice if the Bills knew how to use him as a WR. His catch percentage is comparable to the other receivers on the team and he can turn a game around on one play. Personally, I would love to see TO, Evans, and Roscoe on the field at the same time. I am not going to convince you or the other Roscoe haters on this board of his importance to the team or what his value could be. I do know that if we trade him (especially to a team that knows how to use him), we will regret the day we did it.

If you and others are so confident that Roscoe is not that important, let's trade him to the Patriots and find out what Billy B would do with him. How confident are you about that scenario?

We also drafted the best punt returner in college football last year. He could probably make the switch, Mcgee would be a better than average punt returner and fred Jackson did great when he filled in for Roscoe last year. The other thing all of these guys also contribute to another part of the team an dparish doesn't.

Parrish is now the 5th WR on the team. Welker was good before going to NE, parrish also only scored 1 td lst year. if we can get a goor pick then we obviously do it because we hav eplayers that can fill his role.

  4. Winner!

Johnson looks like a nice #4-5 receiver, and for the life of me I don't understand why we didn't see more of Jenkins at WR when Reed was out last year. Hardy is a lost cause to me at this point and I would love if the front office had the nads to pick up a 5th for him as well...if anyone would take him.

I am happy with Evans, Reed, Owens with spells by Johnson, an upgrade at TE, and McKelvin attempting to not do something stupid in the return game. When you are paying Roscoe for what amounts to similar production that McKelvin seems to be able to give you.....I have no problem with a trade.

wow, your giving up pretty early on Hardy

  5. Was it ESPN fiction too then? I believe that was where the report came from that the Bills had offered him 9.75 mil per season. Regardless, if they did offer him that, it was only .25 mil from what he received from Philly. Do you think that perhaps Peters wanted to leave Buffalo by saying they wanted to start negotiating at 11.5mil with the Bills, and then go off and sign a six year deal for 1.5mil less? Buffalo has shown they are willing to pay to keep solid talent, but they want to see something in return. They told Peters last year they would negotiate a new contract with him after the season, but he needed to show up and play. He showed up, but whether he "played" or not is debatable. Either way, the Bills then did what they said they were going to do. They began negotiating with him, and his absurdly high demands. Buffalo told him they wanted him to show some good faith if they were going to invest in him by coming to the OTAs. He refused and started working on another hold out. Sorry, I just don't think the guy wanted to play here, even after we were the only team that was willing to take a chance on him and make him what he is. This one is not on Russ. This one is on Peters and his agent wanting to go elsewhere, to any team that was willing to "Show him the money."

Agree, thanks for replying before i did. The Bills the best of a bad situation.

  6. We now have one of the top 5 worst offensive lines and defensive lines in football, so tight end, linebacker, and safety are out for the first two rounds of the draft.

We don't have to speculate whether the Bills will draft Brandon Pettigrew, Brian Cushing, or Malcolm Jenkins. Yeah!!!

Buffalo has 4-5 major holes now to fill on the both sides of the line. In a twisted sort of way, I'm happy. Now, anyone that makes any post or speculation on why the Bills should draft a linebacker or tight end better have a compelling reason.

The Bills can only consider, if available, from the following people now with picks #11, #28, #42

DE's Everette Brown, Aaron Maybin, Brian Orakpo, Robert Ayers

    OT Michael Oher, Eben Britton

OG/OC Alex Mack, Max Unger, Eric Wood

    DT Peria Jerry

I doubt they's take a defensive tackle, i would like one od the DE's.

  7. What about the extra 18 Million of un-shared revenue the Bills pocketed from Rogers Communications last season? Why not just use that money to pay Peters' signing bonus and keep the 27 year old Pro Bowl left tackle on your team? That total will be up to $36 Million by this time next season, and do you really think the Bills will spend it on any Pro Bowl free agents not coming off injuries and in the prime of their careers, demanding at least $10 Million a year?

Good luck hoping for that from our Ralph Wilson Bills!! :worthy:

because he would sit out again in two years when people are making more than him, plus he wasn't good last year.
