1. Please tell me what law have they been trying to change. Perhaps this will help me respond to this point.
2. Nobody is defending the actions of these officers.
3. Tell me how arresting and charging someone because of public emotion is not the same principle as a public lynching.
1.I am not a citizen lawyer or politician so what law I do not know, but you said they should have it changed.
2. I did not suggest you are defending the officers, but the response to death in Minn and Georgia are a symbol of an issue you are refusing even acknowledge so how can it be solved.
3. Lynching is death, arresting is the start of a process that shows the citizens that this obvious violent incident is being placed into the proper public judicial system. How can you not see this...stop defending the indefensible.

Look. Violent crimes are committed everyday in this country. Sometimes people are arrested immediately and sometimes they are not. Those decisions are made by those that are responsible for making them. It is an imperfect system. Sometimes they are not popular to those on the outside. That is fine. You might no like it. That's fine.
The point is, those decisions shouldn't be made by you or others, and certainly shouldn't be made based on emotion.
I don't believe in public lynchings even if the person ultimately deserves to be lynched. I prefer it be handled according to the facts and the law.
If people don't like it, then maybe they should have the laws changed that allow people to be arrested, charged, convicted, and sentenced by public opinion and just do away with the legal process.
I don't already know why. Explain it to me.
Again your point is well taken but these people are trying to have the law changed, starting 60 years ago up to Kapernick, but with no one listening so it goes. When you stop defending acts that are obviously wrong you can begin to hear and solve. It is ironic that this takes place under the heading Liberal protests....again a word that creates emotion and does not allow people to hear and be heard. The issue deserves not to have people pigeon holed as they speak.
Some of your citizens thinks this is a version of the old kkk lynchings. Do you hear that....ignore the professional agitators, ignore the paid Agent's rhetoric, just ,listen to the cry of your fellow citizens.

Arrests, charges, or any other aspect of the legal process should never be driven by emotion at any level. It should proceed as the facts and the law decide.
Particularly when that emotion is misplaced and being fanned for reasons that have nothing to do with justice.
These officers will be arrested and charged if and when the process dictates.
Again you are correct when the process dictates but what appears to be different processes for different people. Many Citizens feel this, as members of your society they need to be heard and listened to. Failure for citizens to solve the reality or appearance of reality will only cause greater damage to your society. It cannot be solved by physical power, political power or you become no better than China.

No offense to you NB, but it's language like this that is a problem. We see it pretty exclusively now too, both on the news and from politicians. They insinuate without coming out and being precise and direct with their language, so it leaves a lot of wiggle room and people use that wiggle room to make interpretations that satisfy their own mind.
Example 1: "If the police are not para military, if this is not racist, if justice is equal." - What are you saying? Just say it. Are you saying that this police are a paramilitary arm of local governments, are racists, and justice is not equal? If so, explain it and tell us why.
Example 2: "No arrest of the officer yet, for a death seen on video" - Again, you're stating the obvious without coming out and saying what this means and the relevance. Are you saying that you do not think the police officer will be arrested? Are there any possible explanations for that beyond something like the DA and the system neglecting the case? Could it possibly be that especially in a case like this, it's critical that the investigators and prosecutors do everything in their power to build an airtight case prior to starting the clock ticking with an arrest? To ensure that justice is done?Example 3: "If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck" - Lastly, what exactly are you referring to? Are you saying that the system is rigged? That all cops are racist? Why use a vague metaphor when you can tell everyone exactly what you think and why?
Again, I am not trying to pick on you, it was just the most recent post where I saw this type of communication style being used.
Do not think I said all cops are racists. I am saying that there is building so much evidence that it is looking like the duck. The cause of why these reactions happen are complicated, historical, financial, political, etc.
For example, as a result historic events like race riots of the 50s and 60s then terrorism, drug gangs, gun violence, the police forces have become more and more military like, trained like military, armed like military, hiring ex military members, not saying it was not necessary but plays a role in how the modern police treat the citizens and see the world.
I am NOT trying to have a race discussion, just observing how this perfect storm is coming and if not handled the professional agitators take over. It becomes about power not about freedom and equality and justice for all.

I'm sure they will be charged. Just curious, what evidence do you see that tells you this incident was racially motivated?
There is no proof of racism unless the purps say it was. In fact it matters little if it was racial, but in many instances it is the duck thing.
If it is not racial the delay in arrests is just wrong. It is indefensible. A portion of citizens of the country are saying how it feels, how it appears that there is a different approach in certain instances...time after time...the longer the country does not listen, the more professional protesters take advantage and the message changes. The debate on this site was about conspiracy of white supremacists, or BLM, etc. That over looks what the real caring citizens are asking the country to hear.
The CNN reporter was treated differently this morning. While this might not be racist, the preponderance of evidence is beginning to be hard to ignore.
I do not pretend to know the causes etc etc, just an observation from someone who does not have a dog in the fight.

I know I will be told it is non of my business by the likes of Rhino, and I am just way to liberal ( I am not a liberal), but the whole point is being missed.
If the police are not para military, if this is not racist, if justice is equal.
No arrest of the officer yet, for a death seen on video, and in Georgia, how long did the arrest take?
Wow...regardless as to whether there are professional protesters, the violent left, fires, property damage, business and livelihoods destroyed and neighborhoods pulled apart....still no arrests.
If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck....

I was in grade 7. We were playing basketball on an outside court at school. Our teacher/coach was with us when his very good friend Carl Brewer defenseman with the Leafs came to visit and played some bball with us.

The only thing that’s been exposed is your proclivity for loving all things fascist. (Still hasn’t disavowed his statements FYI). Even parroting Hitler, unknowingly (because you’re A VERY stupid person).
***** off, CCP Bill. Your shite is tired and weak. Or keep talking and keep proving how deeply stupid you are for everyone in the cheap seats.
You are the biggest bigot and loser here. You have people convinced you are genuine....haha, you are a paid agent with talking points. You are shallow, simplistic stooge. At least I am open to views and not one sided, but I have listened to your CPP, NAZI shitte, buzz words your handlers taught you to say.
If you think that your ultra rhetoric puts you in the good seats....haha.
Hope you are not on fire because I wouldn't pi?? on you.
I would tell you to **** off but my disdain for you ultra bigot views makes me know it would be a waste of a good curse. I will save the curse for your handlers.

You have no understanding about DR and his journey from initial concern about privacy issues to where it has brought him today. In addition, that journey was possible because of the unique circumstances of his day job and his adopted "hobby"/passion. There are many of us here who have partially been on that journey and saw it come about. You on the other hand, are nothing more than a passing stranger in the night, cognizant of nothing of importance and bereft of knowledge.
He has you duped too....it is no journey, just an Agent in training. Came along about the same time as the Russian involvement.
I am sure on some level Vladdy is a fine fellow and a lover of fine vodka, but I could never believe his status is genuine....
This is not hobby/passion , this is paid work with talking points.

This is a great question and like any team sport, the relationships are super important.
Was Andre Reed more important than Kent Hull for Jim K.
But if you listen to great receivers, Moulds, TO, and good guys like Peerless, there was always complaints the qb could not get them the ball....their stats and career suffer. They could not help an average QB to be good.
So the good QB can make a good receiver great, but that receiver doesnt often make an average QB good.
But on occasion a great QB can turn an average receiver into a very good receiver. Just look at Brady...at his stable of misfits.
So, the caliber of the QB is more important than the WR
Sounds like a Sheldon Cooper String Theory

Or, you know, anyone with a basic understanding of history.
Keep parroting Nazism and passing it off as hippy love. You're a deeply stupid person with no understanding of liberty, and your posts keep proving it.
(note, he doesn't disavow his words -- even after being shown they're straight from the fascist playbook ... why? Because CCP Bill is too stupid to understand he's a useless idiot for dangerous ideologies which have left a trail of carnage in its wake)
And the paid Agent's nose continues to grow.
I notice you never deny being a paid propagandist,
You are without a doubt the phoniest poster on this site.
Move on Vladdy. You have been exposed. Have a vodka on me, liberty for you is a choice of vodka. For those who think I am joking about Rhino. If you have 6 months like he does because he is paid, go back at review his 50,000 posts of the same rhetoric, day after day, month after month....

The local fascist is back, spouting the talking points of tyrants from days goneby without any awareness (because he's deeply stupid):
"Nazism wanted to transform the subjective consciousness of the German people—their attitudes, values and mentalities—into a single-minded, obedient "national community". The Nazis believed they would therefore have to replace class, religious and regional allegiances"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Nazi_Germany
CCP Bill is too stupid to think for himself. So he's unknowingly parroting Nazism on back to back days while thinking he's talking about its opposite:
When people tell you who they are, believe them.
Agent Rhino...look at the talking points and quotes you have at your immediate disposal. Only a paid agent would have this so fast. Proof that everything you said is a paid announcement.
I hope others realized they have been duped. (To quote the late Mrs. Costanza).
Your handlers should up date their notes...calling someone a Nazi is a little out of date. At least CCP is this century.
Rhino is the appropriate name, your nose is growing longer than Pinocchio.
Now go get your paycheck Agent Rhino.
Hope you have access to lots of job sites. You will be unemployed by year end.

You, as a Canadian, is arguing against OUR Constitutional Rights? Meanwhile Trudie is destroying any semblance of liberty in Canada. Don't you think maybe YOUR OWN PROBLEMS should be your priority?
So it is ok for you to make a comment on another country but not for others to comment on yours. Typical response of a bully.
Our problems are my priority, but not restricted to commentary on others. Any democracy that allows religion to be a controlling and recognized excuse for discrimination ends in major conflict. In a democracy the first support of citizens relationships to each other must be the country and laws.
The bridge between religions (ie Christian and Muslim) is love of country.

To wear a mask, or gloves and being respectful of others health has nothing to do with being a coward.

Speed limits are set to protect you and others. Are you a coward to follow the law or do you set your own laws...Ah yes freedom right.
Get out your assault rifle a shoot that virus Jethro. It would be awful to be called the coward of the county.

One guy asked if I could take this week's pizzo and hand it in to Bruno.

And I know your aware that is religious discrimination correct?
Now you sound like a nut. You can view pornography but you cannot put it on billboard, or in a public school. Is that discrimination.
You should check the talking points with Agent Rhino.
Now back to beginning. Twitter is crossing the line for sure. There us no need to fact check Trump. Those who support him believe everything he says, other do not believe anything. Politics and truth and facts never mix.

To be clear: i don't care if he's a fascist, that's his prerogative. What i DO care about is intellectual dishonesty.
I hold a position that if Twitter/Facebook/whoever decides they hold the key to who gets to communicate what, then it stands to reason a baker SHOULD be able to deny service to anyone he chooses. Logically consistent.
I never said Twitter had the right of control, I only asked if it was someone like Agent Rhino would you care as much.
And no that baker should have no right to refuse a Catholic, Baptist, gay, Muslim, surfer, golfer, or politician.

I see. So THAT form of expression isn't to be used as a means of discrimination in the public sphere, but politics is?
Double. Standard.
Now this makes NO sense.
Any one can express their religion but not to discriminate against other citizens.
And yes....Religion should not be in politics.
-
Call it discrimination, call it whatever...my point is simple.....Religion is not to be involved. A court should not see religion as an argument for the right to discriminate, or an argument on abortion, or blood transfusions, or marriage, or voting or prostitution or whatever. Religion has no standing except in your home, never in business.

I see. So, ownership of a business doesn't entitle one to serve who they please.
But you're OK with twitter silencing some of their customers but not all?
Bit of a double standard there, isn't it?
Right on. Business serve the public.
What would say if Muslim owned Mobil did not serve Baptists, or females unless they had a veil.
By the way, I am not ok with fact checking by Twitter on Trump only. Pols spend more time creating their version of the truth.

and you fear dictatorship?
No, that would be called freedom for all. Religion should not be able to control access to some. Religion must be left at the door by all, including the owners and shareholders.

Anyone else see the hypocrisy in all of this?
Libs are okay with trying to force a private bakery for instance, to bake a cake for a gay wedding and scream free speech and a violation of civil rights if they refuse.
But then think it is okay for a publicly traded company, that provides a very public forum to the public, to stifle speech?
Seriously the bakery thing is bad politics. Religion and government should not touch, if you run a business you should be required to serve any citizen.
Are you against fact checking, or just because of Trump. It would be ok if it was Putin or China, or N Korea or Rhino, or Tiberius.

You are correct. The dems are no better...but a coup usually is associated with a dictator, and this situation is beginning to resemble that.

This is all about keeping power in any means possible. If he wins in Nov he stays. If he loses the controversy will be so large he will maintain power. It will make Florida hanging chats look like child's play.
All part of freedom. The freedom to change the rules because I am President.
