  1. Because I REALLY, REALLY want them to! That is why. 12th man time
  2. The Bills actually have a running game unlike Green Bay. I really do not want Fitz to have stats like Rogers.
  3. Smiles....Week 1 is so telling. It has made me regret drafting Rogers as my fantasy QB. Thanks for the reality check..maybe the Bills can just forfeit the season now and save me the trouble. I have waited all year for football in general, seen week one, I am done, thank you and goodnight!
  4. On one of those it looked as if the receiver curled the wrong direction in his route, which was a timing route. He had to get to the spot. I think the 3rd one was a similar issue as well. The second one was under thrown for sure.
  5. If this was brought up in another thread, I apologize. Attached is a pretty good article on week 1 in the NFL from NBC Sports. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/49001693/ns/sports-nfl/ Many good QB's through multiple interceptions in week 1. And Fitz was not the worst of the lot so I hope the doom and gloom will pass after this weekend and a better showing. The Bills/Jets game was so ugly to watch for me as a Bills fan because all his picks resulted in a touchdown for the Jets. The defense could not hold the Jets to a FG or no points when there was an opportunity to do so (unlike the Eagles...Vick threw 4). In fact they could not hold them at all. Also, Chan (who, in 10 days, went from being one of the best offensive coaches to a horrible coach according to some) hinted that two of the interceptions were the result of miscommunication between Fitz and the Receivers. If the play is a timing route, the QB throws to a spot rather than a player. He is making the assumption that the player will be there and if the player is not there it can get ugly, especially if the defense is familiar with the route, which most are. Our receivers had and have to play more physical to get to the spot. Overall, I think what disappointed me the most with the game, and I watched it twice to punish myself, is that the Bills lacked physicality in all three phases of the game. Since Nix took over there has been an emphasis on getting bigger, however, that does not appear to have resulted in more physical (with the exception of the offensive line). We have talent, however, I really think we need some "Mean" on the team. I have not watched every game of week one, but I also think the replacement refs have a lot to do with the high scores and high interception numbers. They just do not through as many flags and seemed to allow the players to play much more physical in week 1. Some of this refs were officiating HS and Junior College football 12 months ago.
  6. "As far as the lease goes, I've posted on that before. The area loses nothing if they leave. The money people spend on the Bills will be spent on other entertainment outlets or god forbid saved for college or something. The only real problem would be what to do with the stadium. Other than that, it's a financial wash if they leave. I know, Joe beer hawker will be out of a job. So what? For 8 days a year he doesn't sell beer? Not the makings of a financial crises in my book. Call their bluff and let them leave. Where are they going to go? LA or TO? Spare me." Kind Sir, for the past 10 years I have brought a group of 20-30 out of town buffalo fans to the game once a year, I know I am not the only one. We usually arrive Thursday and stay till Monday spending thousands of dollars in hotels, food, and festivities. You don't think that will be missed? Without the Bills we don't make that trip.
  7. per ESPN: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8369068/buffalo-bills-county-agree-one-year-lease-extension I think this is a very bad sign, however, is a the norm in NY politics. Why hammer something out when you can punt it for a year. Remember the lip service that this will be done before training camp? If Ralph passes away without a long term lease in play, NY is sure to get the short end of the stick if they want the bills to stay. They are going to have to pay a lot more.
  8. I also contacted WGR about this and this was there response. It looks like in the future they will be airing the game on the app. "Sorry for the issue! There was an issue with our streaming feed on Sunday; however, that has been resolved for future games and shows. I believe the pre-season was not broadcast, but all regular season games will be. We are also addressing the spontaneous audio loss issue with the vendor who provides our app, so hopefully I will have news on that shortly. In the meantime, thank you for listening and have a great day!"
  9. I no longer live Buffalo , much to my dismay, however, I get my fill of Bills coverage on twobillsdrive and listening to the WGR app to and from work. The question I have is the app locked not to work during bills games? Over the weekend I was hoping to listen to the game on the app and it kept giving me an error message. This happened in the preseason as well. If it is locked down, please let me know of any other ways to get to listen to the game out of town. Maybe another app? I know when 97Rock had the games I could use the "tunein radio" app, but I did not see WGR on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  10. What time does Hammer's Lot usually open for 1:00 games? I did not see it on the site. And what time does he usually kick you out? The group I have like to go back to the lot and set up and listen to the post game and est some post game pizza and wings
  11. I have a different take... I really think this formation was Chan's way of testing the O-line and receivers. There are questions with who starts where and now he has plenty of film on who performed well when you are put out on an island as an O-lineman. The receivers in that formation are also one on one. When you have the RB and TE chipping in the O-line can cheat a bit. He did not let that happen tonight. I also think it was smart not running the ball. For one, Fred does not need the practice as he will be a monster come the season, and two, they seem to run block better than pass block. This was a glorified practice.
  12. I hope you are kidding. You are aware that the bone spur that he has played with for several years had grown to the point it was shredding his tendon and rupture was very likely without immediate surgery. Kyle is a beast.
  13. Who is on the Practice Squad that they can move up? Did they move Jasper to O-line after camp? Anyone know what position he has been practicng at? He might suck but I would like to see if he is worth keeping on the team, who knows he could be the second coming of Jason Peters, pre-payday demands.
  14. Maybe it is time for you to pick a new team and your family should probably take your shoelaces
  15. Thanks, that station streams pretty well through the iheartradio app. I will try that and nfl app on gameday
  16. I have never seen that on the app, how do you get to it.
  17. I think that if you download the iheartradio app that you can listen to the feed from 1180 Wham out of Rochester. Can someone from that area confirm if that is the station that plays bills games?
  18. Do you know of a app for andriod to listen to the game this weekend. I will be out of tv range and streaming a game on 3g network is not realistic, but I would enjoy listening. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. It would be great if someone would post the times that the private lots open around the stadium. Hammers?, Barko's Mud Lot, Etc???
  20. I was wondering if the buffalo bills have a pregame and postgame show that is broadcast on a local channel before and after every home game. The reason I ask is that we usually bring a TV to the game and thought it would be fun to watch if it can be picked up on an antenna. I know 97 rock does a pregame radio show in the field house and WGR has talking heads on after the game, but those seem to be radio only. Thanks in advance.
  21. Been to both, one by VCU is m preferred choice. Whole room of bills fans
  22. In Richmond, VA, a bunch of bills fans get together at Mulligans in the Fan. We get a whole room to ourselves with a big screen and you can actually hear the game which is a big plus. Food is OK (burgers are good), beer is cold, and atmosphere is great. It is nice to have other fans to share the suffering with. Also, every year me and a bunch of guys come back to Buffalo for an our "Annual Bills Weekend" We converge on Buffalo from all over the country for two days of fun. THis year is the Eagles game. We plan on being in the mud lot in fron to fo the firld house early. Anyone know when he is opening his lot this year???
  23. No reward him for being a big part of the offense we are trying to create. He was productive last year under Gailey so why not extend him. Reports are they re also working on contracts with Johnson and Fitz.
  24. I AGREE Completely. Lee was a one trick pony. He runs a great go route but that is about it. He dissapaeared against physical corners that could lay a lick off the line and is an undersized WR as a red zone target. Gailey made it clear that he expected more from Lee and I do not think Lee wanted to do that so there was a mutual parting of ways. Roscoe while undersized is a physical reciever (ergo the injuries) and can run slants, intermediate, and deep routes. He also is an asset in the return game and can run reverses and other "trick plays". These are all things that Lee did not do. Who cares what he is paid in a new contract if he helps win games. Sometimes I appearsthat the bipolar posters on here act like it is their money. The Bills have money to spend and are methodically spending it, BE HAPPY. This team is not run by "bean counters" and I know Ralph cares about the product on the field. Several friends of mine met him at Danny's during the Donahoe Era and you could tell he was passioniate about winning (Picture is hanging at Danny's) and he was not pleased with the start that year. It was not lip service.
