    two different arguments, son. i'm more than willing to agree that he dropped the game winner. that doesn't mean it's his fault that the bills kicker couldn't properly hit a squib (or whatever that horrible, horrible kick was intended to be).

    bull ****. His celebration cost us nothing. If dave friggin rayner can hit a kickoff like any other kicker in the NFL, the jets have a much more difficult time in scoring. Blaming stevie for the kickoff is asinine, and a sign of trollish behavior from someone who doesn't understand a bit about football.

     

    Yes, we are trolls and do not understand football. Calling a squib vs. kicking thru the back of the endzone had absolulutly nothing to do with the 15 yard penalty. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

    you do know that stevie didn't actually kick that abortion of a squib, right?

     

    a professional kicker couldn't kick a football off a tee properly. this is on him.

     

    Why put a backup kicker in this position in the first place? Because Stevie is a selfish clown and not a team player.

    Explain to me how his 15 yard penalty lead to a botched kick? Does Stevie handle the kickoff responsibilities now?

     

    Because without the 15 yard penalty, we would have kicked the ball out of the back of the endzone and not called for a squib kick! Were you seriously asking this question?

    Here is my brief analysis of the Bills stadium improvements situation.

     

    Buffalo Bills Payroll $100,000,000

    NYS Income Tax 5%

    Annual total. $5,000,000

     

    73,000 seats x 10 games x $60ave ticket price = $43,800,000

    NYS Sales Tax 8.75%

    Annual total $3,832,500

     

    Total annual tax revenues $8,832,500

     

    15 years X $8,832,500

    Total of tax revenues over 15 years

    $132,487,500

     

    NYS issues a 15 year bond for improvements in exchange for a 15 year unbreakable lease with the elimination of the Toronto game.

     

    Tax revenues more than pay for the cost of improvements plus interest.

     

    Without the improvements the team is gone and so are the tax revenues.

     

    This is a revenue neutral deal that could keep the team here after Ralph's passing

     

    I also feel my figures are very conservative.

    Mark Herzlich was a BEAST before getting cancer and was a sure first round pick. He is now cancer free, give him a year to build his body back up and get back into football shape and you have yourself a great football player.

    They have been losers since 1969, let's keep it that way! Their fans are cocky and obnoxious considering they have not won anything in most of their life times. Plus the NYC accent is more annoying than a Boston accent. It is all about the fans, and I hate jets fans with a passion.
