  1. I'll tell you why. More potential for money. Studios want to get those yonger teens and pre-teen kids to beg their parents for money so they can can go and see it. This way an adult does not have to accompany him.

You get a better chance of a big opening weekend with a PG-13 than you do with an R.

im still excited to see max payne though, the visuals look top notch.

that and im excited for the zach and miri make a porno, i love me some kevin smith

  2. Contract Specifics.

    http://blogs.nfl.com/2008/10/02/bills-exte...ct-of-wr-evans/

"One of the top prospective free agents from the class of 2009 is off the market.

The Buffalo Bills signed wide receiver Lee Evans to a four-year, $37.25 million extension that includes $18.25 million worth of guarantees. He will make $27 million over the first three years of the deal, including this year. Evans now is under contract through 2012."

Not sure how that stacks up with other players but i think he is worth it.

puts him right below larry fitzgerald's 4 year 40 mil deal

  3. can you please do another post like this about how bad the bills FO evaluating talent is, but this time with QBs

ill start it out for you and use some of the phrases you love....

Rd 1 Selection 1 Jamarcus Russell - stiff hips

Rd 1 Selection 22 Brady Quinn - stiff hips

Rd 2 Selection 36 Kevin Kolb - stiff hips

Rd 2 Selection 40 John Beck - stiff hips

Rd 2 Selection 43 Drew Stanton - stiff hips

Rd 3 Selection 92 Trent Edwards

Now i will say, and it has been obvious, Trent has been the best out of these QBs. But its only the second year of his career, and you do not really start evaluating how well your draft is until a few years later. Trent did start most of his Rookie Season as well, just like Porter thus far. Is that to say Trent will be better than Quinn or Russell when its all said and done? possibly i hope. but it also speaks to the fact a guy like Quinn hasnt really played yet on the NFL level or given a shot, much like McKelvin. 4 games hardly constitutes how a guy will turn out.

  4. Um since when is the first 4 games a significant factor of how good one player is compared to the other players drafted at his position. Everyone knew McKelvin was raw to begin with he is going to take a couple years to to get up to speed, but his celiling is much higer then Porters plus he is already a factor on special teams.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, THE FIRST 4 GAMES OF A SEASON ALWAYS DETERMINES A CAREER!

Ryan Leaf was 2-2 his first 4 games

    Loser Peyton Manning was 0-4

so ha! LaDiarrhea is right everyone!

  5. The fact that we're still only 4 weeks into the season aside, it troubles me greatly to think we may have to face them in the playoffs.

Who knows how things will pan out between now and "Week 18" but if we have to play them first round in a reprise of the MCM, I'm gonna crap. I don't think I could handle that pressure!!

Trent Edwards doesnt give two craps about the MCM

  6. Did you hear Chris Carter? He said that we didn't play anybody yet. That we will come back down to earth before the season is over.He was on Mike and Mike today too.He doesn't think too much of us.

Cris Carter has no business commenting on anything, he is a renown flip flopper, and its documented....

"Carter helped both Williams and Rogers train before their respective drafts. And this is what he said about that on Sunday: “Matt Millen – do a little undercover work. (Mike) Williams and Charlie Rogers both worked out with me before the draft. I could have told him, don’t draft neither one of them. (He) never asked me.”

That’s interesting because here is what you said about both players just before they were drafted. Carter’s comments about Rogers, to the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel just before the 2003 draft: “He’s very similar – and I don’t like to make a lot of comparisons – to Randy (Moss) in a sense, a big basketball player playing wide receiver. He’s the only receiver that’s come out since Randy that you can make an honest comparison to. He has a yearning to learn.”

    Carter the Flip Flopper

  7. "So the Saints' FO was dumb for taking Bush with the 2nd overall pick, but smarter than the Bills' FO for drafting Porter. Okay."

Throwing darts against the wall, some will land in the bullseye.

    And some will, well, Leodis...

Porter would be the best corner on the Bills by a mile right now. The issue is TALENT ASSESSMENT, and the incredible anger, jealousy, dishonesty and denial some have here over the truth of the issue...

HE WOULDNT WORK IN OUR SYSTEM

  8. As the Dolphins hammered the Patriots last week the NFL proves that anything can happen.

A defeat to the Rams would be a huge disappointment but the Bills have yet to prove they can dish out big margin of victory wins as the top teams should do.

So CotW. If this your last day I hope you had a good life.

yeah I mean the bills didn't even have a 24 point win week one or anything.....

  9. I wonder how many UM players have played for the Bills?

    TE/C - Steve Alvers

    RB - Joe Auer

DB - Rodney Bellinger <--Drafted By Bills

TE - Kevin Everett <--Drafted By Bills

    DB - Jack Johnson

QB - Jim Kelly <--Drafted By Bills

    C - John Matlock

RB - Willis McGahee <--Drafted By Bills

    WR -Bill Miller

RB - Speedy Neal <--Drafted By Bills

WR - Roscoe Parrish <--Drafted By Bills

    DL - Don Smith

DT - Bob Tatarek <--Drafted By Bills

    P - Rick Tuten

    WR/RET - Kevin Williams

    So your answer is 15
