  1. With the bills wheeling and dealing this will be a young rebuilding year. With some other guys out there, this is the opportunity for the Bills to get on the Free Agency Board. With the majority of the Linebacking core gone Lavar Arrington could be a nice fit in there at linebacker resulting in one less need for the draft. Then you go into the draft and take Paul Posluszny with the 12th pick. There you go Posluszny, Arrington, Ellison pretty good linebacking core. Heck even JoePa might come and coach the team.
  2. in the 2007 NFL draft the Buffalo Bills select......we have a trade............Buffalo has traded their first round pick and received a later first round pick and a third round pick. We end up with five picks the first day and Paul Pozluzny as our new linebacker. Levy and company drafted Shane Conlan and unit coach Tom Bradley said this kid is the best to ever play at Linebacker U. Paterno....... "I think he's the best athlete we have ever had at the position, better than a guy some of you may remember by the name of Shane Conlan". This guy is as genuine as they come. Total character guy, with extreme knack for refusing to be out worked. Moved inside this past year from outside....admittedly took him a while to get used to the different angles he was attacked from. This guy is a pursuing, attacking backer with a nose for the ball. Book it now. We will need a partner to dance but trust me this is a Levy guy if there ever was one.
  3. I heard he flew in with George Seifert
  4. Here are some possibilities in the next draft: RB- I know we would all like to get Adrian Peterson but hell be gone before we could put our hands on him. Marshawn Lynch although I dont really like the guys size but has good speed. Brian Leonard is a tough nosed runner that could fill in at FB or RB Kenny Irons a workhorse but lacks some essentials Michael Bush Coming of an injury to leg (Could be the next Willis McGahee) Tony Hunt A tough nosed runner with great size and average speed is a workhorse OL- Joe Thomas will be gone in the Top 5 picks Levi Brown solid lineman who can do anything you ask Aaron Sears Haven't heard much about the kid but the numbers look okay Ben Grubbs Moves well and has good rang, excels in space, good size, lacks good instincts Tony Ugoh (Arkansas) Has excellent size.Very athletic with good quickness and agility.Has decent feet and slides well Justin Blalock (Texas) Under rated guard.Outstanding size. Good athleticism, quickness and balance.Very strong and powerful.Stout at the point and does not get pushed back. Will overwhelm defensive linemen at the point.Has a great initial punch.Smart and a hard worker with top intangibles.Terrific run blocker and a road grader.Nasty and plays with a killer instinct.Durable and has a lot of experience. WR Ted Ginn Jr. A gamebreaker (Devin Hester) excellent speed moves well Dwayen Jarrett Tall big target with great hands Sidney Rice Very rangey with good frame Good vertical leap Robert Meachem Great speed burst knows how to use siz, run forever after catch OLB: Paul Posluszny Extremely instinctive...Has good speed with great quickness...Mobile with sideline-to-sideline range...Aggressive, tough and physical...Solid and reliable tackle with a burst to close...Decent pass rusher and blitzer...Intense and competitive...Has a motor that never stops and a phenomenal work ethic...A solid athlete...More than holds his own in coverage...Good strength and plays bigger than he is...Excels at reading and reacting to the action...Very smart and a team leader...A playmaker. Lawrence Timmons Outstanding natural athlete...Great speed and quickness...Explosive with a burst to close...Has the frame to get add weight and he plays big...An outstanding pass rusher...Has fluid hips and is excellent in coverage...Versatile and could play in a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme...Vicious hitter and tackler...Has sideline-to-sideline range...Is physical and aggressive...A playmaker who is always around the ball...Still has a ton of potential and there is really no telling just how good he may ultimately be. CB: Deon Hall Very good size...A smooth athlete with fluid hips and great quickness...Physical, tough and aggressive...Does an outstanding job in run support and is a reliable tackler...A playmaker with great hands and ball skills...Very smart with excellent instincts and awareness...Is technically and fundamentally sound...Versatile and has also seen some action at safety...Hard worker with premier intangibles...Has a lot of experience against Big Ten competition...Answered questions regarding his timed speed at the Combine...Also offers some potential as a punt returner. Aaron Ross Great athlete with fluid hips...Has an almost ideal blend of size and bulk...Leaper with very good hands and ball skills...Playmaker with a knack for being in the right place...Gives a solid effort in run support and is a pretty powerful hitter...He plays faster than he times and has top recovery speed...Elusive in the open field and is also an excellent return man...Relatively productive despite limited opportunities. These would be my choices!
  5. I agree that June would be a good fit in Buffalo. But I like Pau Posluszny in the draft.
  6. With the Cleveland quiring Jamal Lewis there out of the running for a RB. I would like to see the bills move up and take Adrian Peterson from Oklahoma. He is a solid back and could make a difference with the new line.
  7. With the Bills lack of wide out depth here are some possible looks. You have Ashley Lelie who was released by the Falcons, but still has gamebreaking ability. Joe Horn is gettin old and wouldnt last to long in Buffalo, you never know with Marv. Then there is Kelley Washington from Cincy who has been silent like Lelie but still has a chance.Sure handed Ricky Proehl from Indy, Troy Brown from New England, or perhaps Drew Bennett from Tennessee. Then youhave a guy like Bethel Johnson who has been ynknown since being with the Pats now getting released by the Vikings. Or I could see Stallworth coming in from Phily , or maybe even Willie Ponder for Special Teams from St. Louis. Bobby Engram is another oldy but can still flat out play.
  8. If you want a good sized middle linebacker pick Paul Posluszny.
  9. London Fletcher-Baker needs to be resigned. If you think about it he has been a positive play maker on the defense. With Spikes always out and the other linebacker position up for grabs he has been a leader. This year may have been his best season ever for him since he has entered Buffalo. With a young defensive, but much improving keeping him would make the linebacking crew tha much stronger. But they'll be a typical Buffalo Bills team and release their good playersand say that their in a rebuilding process.
  10. I agree with your theory of getting a rb this year and next year. Look at next years running back class, you have Mike Hart of Michigan, Antonio Pittman of Ohio St., Darren McFadden of Arkansas, Ray Rice from Rutgers, and Coker Jr. from Tennessee. We all know what happened after we picked a unning back from Tennessee (Travis).
  11. What about resigning A-Train and then picking a rookie. What about Tony Hunt with a second or third roung pick. Lynch is overrated.
  12. If you remember correctly a man by the name of Shane Conlan came out of Penn State and was one of the best linebackers to paly in Buffalo. All you here is about this Willis and how good he is. I have never even heard of him till this year. Posluszny has had a great career at Penn State and has one handfuls of best defensive player or best linebacker in the country awards. He is a sleeper that will be there. Even though Fletcher-Baker is a middle linebacker so is Posluszny and he played the outside backer position last year. You could move Spikes or the other rooki backer from last year.
