Agent says Colts missing tackle Quinn Pitcock is retired By Mike Chappell Indianapolis Star Posted: July 30, 2008 TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Quinn Pitcock has retired, according to his agent. The announcement ended a week of uncertainty regarding the team’s 2007 third-round draft pick. “After much deliberation and careful thought, Quinn resolved to retire from the NFL,’’ Brad Leshnock, Pitcock’s agent, said in an email to The Star late Tuesday. “He notified the Colts of this decision last week. “Quinn is grateful for the opportunity the Colts gave him, and he wishes his teammates and the whole organization nothing but the best going forward.’’ Pitcock, 24, could not immediately be reached for comment. He was placed on the NFL’s reserve/did not report list when he failed to show up with the teammates last Thursday for the start of training camp. He appeared in nine games as a rookie, one as a starter. He was expected to play an important role in the Colts' defensive line rotation this year, backing up likely starting tackles Ed Johnson and Keyunta Dawson.

Scott had been projected to start while Asante Samuel held out, and play a key role in the nickel defense once Samuel caved. In an ESPN article he said he would ove to play for anyone who is interested. He sayed he would love to play in New Orleans or Dallas. Henry believes he can be a productive player for someone next season. The 6-foot-4 receiver has shown good ability as a third target in Cincinnati. During last year's eight-game suspension, the Bengals were 2-6 without Henry and 5-3 with him in the lineup. In three seasons, he recorded 88 career receptions for 1,370 yards and 17 touchdowns.

According to the Washington Post Chad Johnson-WR-Bengals Apr. 26 - 1:29 pm et Offering "multiple" first-round picks, the Redskins reportedly reached out to the Bengals about Chad Johnson again before the draft but were turned down. It sounds like Washington was offering its 2009 first-round pick, in addition to this year's (No. 21 overall). The Washington Post believes trading down is now something the 'Skins will weigh heavily, possibly dealing with a team in search of a second-tier quarterback. The Redskins are no longer expected to draft a wideout in the first round.

Shockey is signed through 2011. He’s due to earn a base salary of $1.92 million in 2008. His salary spikes to $3.0 million in 2009, and $3.8 million in 2010.

i think that the Pats will trade with the Saints. And with the Pats will take Dominique Rodgers Cromartie.

I would be filled with joy if the Bills take either Davis or Keller. I have been high on Keller since watching him play in person last year, and I wasn't that high on Davis until some buddies showed me some highlights. Both guys can play.

I like Limas Sweed in a trade down situation. Antoine Cason has been my second pick since my first mock draft. I would love to get Dustin Keller to.

I would do that trade. As long as Thomas or Sweed is our pick their. We would get or 3rd back from the Stroud.

Jammal Brown-T-Saints Apr. 24 - 9:02 pm et The Saints are reportedly dangling Jammal Brown in an effort to move up for Glenn Dorsey. Say what? Brown is coming off an injury-plagued down season, but he was an All Pro left tackle in only his second year - 2006. If he was entering this draft, he'd certainly go higher than No. 13 where he was selected. If this is true, it shows the Saints might be a little too desperate for Dorsey, a local hero. The Rams have some tape to watch. From cbssportsline.com Early I read that in St. Louis, Dorsey will be a Ram with the 2nd pick for sure. The St. Louis Post-April 24, 2008 "All signs point towards Glenn Dorsey" being the Rams' pick at number two. Chris Long appears to be second, with Vernon Gholston third on the Rams board. Of course this could all be a smokescreen to induce a trade up for Dorsey, but no calls came in about the pick Wednesday. If Long gets past the Rams, he'll probably fall to Kansas City or the Jets.

My opinion is that we should keep J.P. for one more year to help backup Trent, but if the possiblility is their to trade him away for picks do it.

The Delaware County Times believes the Eagles would like to trade up to No. 11 to select Virginia OL Brandon Albert. The Bills would then select Michigan St. WR Devin Thomas with the No. 19 pick. Philadelphia has 11 draft picks and veteran CB Lito Sheppard to dangle as trade bait, but this particular scenario is possible.

He really isnt that good I like Dustin Keller.
