  1. Explain that statement please. How does universal health care force anyone to seek treatments? I think you get a PUNCH!! from the cat for that one.
  2. The NFL greatly reduced their asking price for the channel. Maybe TW will be more interested now. I hope so.
  3. Aint dat da trut! Link? What he said.
  4. I'd have the cat PUNCH! you if any of that made any real sense.

  6. Mother, son missing in forced chemotherapy case. (CNN) -- A Minnesota judge issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for the mother of Daniel Hauser, a 13-year-old boy who is refusing treatment for his cancer, after neither she nor the boy showed up for a court appearance. Doctors say Daniel Hauser's lymphoma responded well to a first round of chemotherapy in February. "It is imperative that Daniel receive the attention of an oncologist as soon as possible," wrote Brown County District Judge John R. Rodenberg in an order to "apprehend and detain." "His best interests require it," Rodenberg wrote. Linky I say no. As stupid as some decisions regarding their kid may be it's a personal family choice. Should parents be forced to give their kids three healthy meals a day? Should the government be able to force McDonald's to stop selling "Happy Meals"? I find this disturbing.
  7. Not in a billion years even if they offered to cover it to 100,000 miles. The repairs that will be covered probably won't even scratch the surface of the $3,000 dollars. JMO They can also weasel out of repairs for many reasons. Take the 3k and divide it into $1,000 dollar pieces. Open three CD accounts and stagger them as 3 month, 6 month and 1 year. Keep rolling them over so that you are only three months away, at worst, to pay for repairs. When you get rid of the car you'll have a decent down payment. JMO
  8. How much are you going to pay me?
  9. I agree. Who the voted yes?!
  10. Once I saw "Any Given Sunday" I realized how full of his movies are. He finally made a film about a subject I knew a lot about. He took every bad aspect of some teams in the NFL and put them all together on one team. He exaggerates the bad aspects of everything. I haven't seen a lot of his movies, I think JFK was it, and it opened my eyes to his fast and loose workings with the facts. I don't think I'll see any more Stone films. JMO
  11. I wonder if the perp left DNA from his gentleman's relish at the scene of the crime? If so Corey may have a good chance of being completely cleared. 1. I agree. 2. Ya Think?!
  12. With family cooperation. I'm guessing the mob connections, general a-hole antics in Vegas and the physical beatings of Mia Farrow wont be in the film.
  13. That one works! I'll still wait to read it in the mag.
  14. The second one is worse. It says "Use limit exceeded". I subscribe so I'll probably see it later today in the mag.
  15. Sporting News NFL, players to begin CBA talks next month FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- Talks on a new collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and the players union are expected to begin next month, with an eye on avoiding a lockout that could disrupt the 2011 season. Jeff Pash, the NFL's executive vice president and general counsel, said Tuesday at the NFL meetings he believes both the league and new NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith have laid "a good groundwork for these discussions to begin," but stopped short of saying how long they may take. "We'll stay at it for as long as it takes," Pash said. NFL owners opted out of the collective bargaining agreement last year, meaning there could be a labor-related stoppage if a new deal isn't struck for the 2011 season. Combined with the global economic downturn and the chance of a longer NFL schedule, it seems possible talks between the league and union could be, at best, contentious. "The right place to start is a place where the players understand why the owners opted out," Smith said. "We all know that the players didn't opt out of this deal. We do know the NFL generated in excess of $8 billion last year. We know that the average team has grown by 400 percent in 10 years. ... What we don't understand is what is wrong with the current deal when those facts exist."
  16. I don't understand what you're trying to say.

  22. Why is that? Isn't he sentenced for a long prison term? How is he out then? I guess you'll have to ask Joe. I always thought it was; Does the Pope in the woods and is a bear Catholic?
  23. Those cops are a bunch of jerk-offs. Somebody should whack them off the force before they go off half-cocked on an impenetrable crime of passion.
  24. Just opened it. I think she'd say that porn is ok as long as it's "artistically" necessary.
