We are picking Reiff/DeCastro in round 1. If they are both gone that would be quite a bad thing but one or both should still be there . There are 15-20 receivers in this draft with good talent. There are not very many starting tackles. Take the lineman or you don't get one.. Simple as that.

    A M E N

  2. The more I think about it the more it seems to make sense. Unless Buffalo is in love with certain player at the 10th spot I can see Buffalo trading down and acquiring more picks in this years draft. Selecting a Cordy Glenn in the middle of round one or a Courtney Upshaw, Zach Brown, Peter Konz, Mike Adams, Devon Still, etc etc.

Buddy Nix made this statement "We have 9 picks in this years draft but would like 10". If Buffalo finds a dancing partner at 10 I really believe we trade down and gain some more picks. Buffalo needs depth at many positions. Every year we get "awed" from the top 15 names in the draft but it's usually the 2nd round and back where the players really make the most impact in the NFL.

Can't stand the wait until the draft!

The only way I see Buffalo trading down is if when their pick comes around, there isn't any "need" player worthy of being picked there. Hopefully someone else with a need would be willing to move up for their 1st pick and second or third in this draft.

I still see us taking the best OT, LB or CB available, assuming they aren't "reach" picks.

  3. A few Bills fans have actually considered moving up in the draft to get Matt Kalil. As good a prospect he is this is not the year to give away draft picks for one player. Not when we have holes to fill. Yes we need a tackle. But we can find a decent tackle in rounds 2, 3, 4 even later than that. (if only we could sign Bell).

If we traded down anywhere between 11-15 we would still pick ahead of the Jets and me not being a big fan of Jonathan Martin, I would leave the tackle position alone in the first and grab Michael Floyd WR with the pick if he's available for two reasons. 1. We need a WR. 2. I don't want the Jets to pick him up.

Now if for some strange reason Melvin Ingram is available at 10? Then I say forget about trading down and we pull the trigger and get him. I know they say he's fit for a 3-4 or whatever but in an article I read from one of our members on TBD, Wanny's defense can be very well suited for short big and fast LB's. Either way the guy has a motor that doesn't stop. I say take him if he's there.

If he isn't available and we trade down I say we go Michael Floyd with the first pick and take it from there. From that point on the we need a WR conversations will stop and we'll only have to focus on OT, pass rush depth, CB, maybe a TE and OLB. QB is a tricky one. I would like a decent backup but I don't want to draft a backup this year. God Forbid if we don't make the playoffs or even come close, then next year will be the focus on a QB year.

I disagree. This is the year to get a blue-chip O.T.

  4. A qualified "No". If the avatar in question is extremely unusual, it would seem odd for someone else to use it. If it's just another Bills logo, helmet, or favorite player, it would not be a big deal (unless I was the victim of a stolen avatar - then, IT'S WAR!) LoL.
