  1. Just saying, if there is one player that will be here in 5 years... it's probably Evans.
  2. Evans performs at a high level, though.
  3. Evans is locked up long term. Get his jersey
  4. It's been pretty well reported that he is searching for more $$. He got out of his contract with the Jets because he thought he could get more on the open market.
  5. He wants more money. We don't want to give him $6 million. We shouldn't give him $6 million. The Bengals MIGHT give him it, since they just lost Housh.
  6. Edwards will get a new deal halfway through the season (if he is playing well)
  7. The stroud deal was great... it improved our defense 17 spots.
  8. When was the last time you saw this offseason?
  9. He's also 34 and seemed slow and injury prone last year. Not to mention he has serious commitment issues.
  10. Good, he only had 3.5 sacks last year and would have to switch to LB.
  11. I wasn't aware that FA was over.
  12. another great move by the redskins!
  13. It means that Donahoe considered him the best player on the board, and he went for him even though it wasn't a position of need. That way of drafting does not work.
  14. An NFL front office executive tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the Bengals have "jumped ahead" of Minnesota in the bidding for T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Meanwhile, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that Houshmandzadeh is still expected to pick a team by Monday. Housh and the Vikes haggled in talks all day Sunday, but it seems as if Minnesota's offer came up short. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/home_NFL.aspx Looks like the Bengals could be out of the running for Coles.
  15. Brad Riter actually talks about football so he gets a major over WGR.
  16. Willis McGahee
  17. COAST GUARD FINDS BOAT WITH PERSON CLINGING TO IT Posted by Mike Florio on March 2, 2009, 12:29 p.m. In the end, it might be a very good thing that the Coast Guard opted not to call off the search for the four men (and two NFL players) who went missing at sea in a 21-foot fishing boat. According to Bay News 9, the Coast Guard has found an overturned boat with a person clinging to it. Assuming that it was the same boat that was carrying Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper, Lions defensive end Corey Smith, Nick Schuyler, and William Bleakely, it is a sliver of good news amid a tragedy, because it means that three of the men have been lost. Stay tuned for more. UPDATE: The person who has been found reportedly is Nick Schuyler. http://www.profootballtalk.com/category/rumor-mill/ extremely sad news
  18. little late, bub.
  19. This !@#$s the Redskins up the ass.
