Has anyone heard from CajunBillsBacker?
Mike32282 replied to Mike32282's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I didn't mean it that way. I mean I chatted with him a few weeks ago. and from what I gathered then, he seemed like he's a cool guy. That better? -

I chatted with him once in a while off the boards. He was a pretty cool guy. He even runs a Bills Backers Club down in Louisiana. Check out the site... http://www.geocities.com/slbbbc/ -

Oh my God. The way that post looks, it sounds like he was going to be one of the people that tried to ride it out. I hope he wasn't that stupid. -
I'm worried about him. I know that he was in Southern Louisiana. I hope he was able to evacuate in time and in safe right now. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all the members of the South Louisiana Bills Backers right now.

Katrina: moral dilemma for Tallahassee hotels
Mike32282 replied to Ramius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Think of all the Bills fans that bought hotel reservations, plane tickets, game tickets, car rental for the Bills/Saints game.... That cost a LOT of money. Think they are going to get their money back? What about people who bought plane tickets and hotels to visit NO within the next month? Think they are going to get their money back? Nope. Emergencies and disasters can cancel out all that stuff. I don't care if someone is paying to go to a hotel for a freaking college football game. With this disaster, the people should gladly step away and say, no problem. I understand. A football game is just a football game. a vacation is just a vacation. these people lost their homes, jobs, and their lives. They should get priority. -
holy sh--! It's going up fast. We'll be paying OVER $3 per gallon by Labor Day. I'm afraid it will cost me like $50 to fill the tank for the opener next week. I know that when I go to Buffalo this Friday, I'm going to find the nearest reservation and fill er back up for the ride home.

it happened here too. Clump. Check the gas station each day. It's going up fast. It was $2.63 near me on yesterday, it's up to $2.73 today.

Sweet....a Bills Backers club in Rochester, NY!

Maybe I should take that phrase out. I thought they all hang downtown? East Rochester now? -

Everything that I've heard and read about this place is that it's a big sports bar. I was there a couple years ago and it wasn't known as a gay bar then. As far as I know, there is nothing to the rumor that it's a gay bar. Those guys hang out downtown usually...don't they? If it's this rumor is BS...then I'm definitely interested in going. I think it would be sweet to get a Bills Backers club together and hang out there every away game with a bunch of die hards like myself. -

I've been there a few times and there's a cool Bills neon sign in the window. That's the first time I've heard of it being a gay bar. I know that it's owned by the guy who runs Woody's. And never heard anything about gay guys hanging there. Hmm, i'll have to investigate this. Don't want to go to some damn gay bar...not that there's anything wrong with it. -
I just got an email from someone who is trying to setup a Rochester Bills Backers Club that would meet at Woodys II. I thought this was a great idea and I figured I would pass this on here for all the local Rochester fans... ---------------------- Welcome to the Bills Backers of Rochester. My name is Steve Catalano and I am the contact for the group. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, etc, please let me know. On Wednesday, I meet with Josie and Shawnna, owners of Woody's II and they are going to be The Official Bar of The Bills Backers of Rochester. They are located at the following address: Woody's II 2758 West Henrietta Road Rochester, NY 14625 (585) 424-6440 www.woodysii.com We want to get as many of the Bills Backers at Woody's II on game days as possible. They are going to have drink and food specials each week as well as some give aways. I stopped in there today with my family and the food is excellent. There will be more emails comming out as we approach opening day with more information regarding the specials and what sort of give aways we will be having. In the meantime, please stop by Woody's II for a drink, dinner, to shot some pool or play some video games. They have free popcorn and please tell them that you are a Rochester Bills Backer. If anyone knows of anyone who is a Bills fan, please get them to join the Bills Backers of Rochester. We are only something like 35 members short of having the largest Bills Backers club in the WORLD... See you at Woody's II... Thank you, Steve Catalano

ughhh....have you been to Mint's lately? Those girls are nasty. I'd prefer free lap dances at Sundowners or Seductions. -

Looks like all the new changes were a joke. I brought in my bag with a jacket and a few other things in it, and I also brought my camera case and no one patted me down. -

Agreed. If they think that I'm going to bring my camera without a bag, they are crazy. I have always brought a camera bag and never had any problems. If they want to pay me the money to repair it, if i get it damaged from the rain...then I won't bring the bag. Also, last year I was able to bring my jacket, blanket and some other things and put them inside a clear plastic bag. I never had problems with that then either. -
That was !@#$ing hilarious!

yeah, I have noticed a big improvement from the beginning. They are streaky at times and the backup QBs were off a bit yesterday, but overall, they are all starting to gell. JP Losman has definitely improved from when he first came here. -
