  1. So you aren't going to be there?
  2. You are probably right about Shaud Williams, but from what I've heard...Gates could possibly win the #2 job if he does good enough in preseason. I'm not sure what side he was on. I just know that he was blitzing and tackling the RB at the LOS or behind it. As far as our sets, our main set seems to be 2 Wide, 1 TE, 1 RB, 1 FB. We want to be a power running game, thats why i don't see too many 3 wide sets. McGee at kick returns and Parrish and Clements sharing the duties or doing it at the same time. *drooling* Thanks for the comments.
  3. It was just the regular offense, I think there was 2 wide, 1 TE, 1 FB, and him. Thanks. Yeah that's it. Thanks man.
  4. The Bills practiced on the grass field today with the hot sun beating down on them. They worked in full pads today and there was some nice hard hitting. The coaches had the team work on some special teams, 7-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills. To start the day off, the Bills players did their normal routine of individual unit drills and then stretching. After that, the team worked on punt returns and punt coverage. Brian Moorman was solid with his punts, like always and was hitting them "high and far." He was averaging about 45-60 yards in his punts. His best one had to be from the 50 yard-line and he nailed it, almost making a field goal. The purpose of this drill was to work on punt return coverage. They did a good job, but had some trouble stopping some of the returners. Jonathan Smith, Roscoe Parrish, Nate Clements, Drew Haddad, and Josh Reed all practiced returning. Roscoe Parrish was the toughest to bring down. He showed his speed and eluded the cover guys when they tried to tackle him. Nate Clements and Jonathan Smith also did a great job returning. http://www.billszone.com/mtlog/archives/20...port_892005.php
  5. and the worst part is...when i was driving home from camp, they were STILL talking about it. It took over their whole show.
  6. I was listening to WGR550 on the radio today on my way to camp and their main topic was about the Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame. They were asking people if the Bills should honor OJ Simpson in their Hall of Fame, or leave him out. And if they put him in, should they make a big deal about it and welcome him back to Buffalo for his induction? And if they put him in, should they mention his off the field problems too? Or not? What do you guys think?
  7. Damn, i guess I was wrong. I just went to print my tickets for the two night practices and all 12 of them are for Monday, August 22nd. so if anyone needs any for that practice. I have a ton. I could use two tickets to the August 15th night practice now.
  8. i agree. Blitz Chad Pennington with everything you got. Then go after Curtis Martin. Oh and you gotta have Shockey slam into Ty Law too.
  9. If u haven't heard this yet...you gotta check it out.
  10. Thanks for the report. Nice job, man! BTW, thanks for saying Hi.
  11. I like the little bit that I've seen of Woodbury, but he is still very raw. I hope they decide to offer a coaching job to Shane Matthews so he can work with JP still on the sidelines, and then we can see Tory Woodbury more in the preseason games and he'll have a good shot at making the roster then.
  12. Yeah, he can have a pass. although the last time it was just the receivers at the fence last week...he didn't sign then either.
  13. That's just what I was thinking.
  14. Nice photos and thanks for the report too.
  15. Your welcome. I agree. Holcomb was a great pickup and so far he has done a very good job at learning the offense. Nice try. Me too. DOOOOMED!
  16. No problem. I'm glad you liked it. George Wilson has really started to get more reps on the field lately. He could possibly make the roster, but we gotta see what he does on special teams. i agree with u on Aiken, and I'm one of his biggest fans. I have always liked what i have seen, but lately he is struggling.
  17. After a couple days off, the Bills were on the field this morning and ready to work. They practiced on the Growney Stadium turf and wore their shoulder pads and shorts. There was some minimal hitting, but they took it easy today. The main items on the agenda for today were special teams coverage, 7-on-7, and the full team scrimmage 11-on-11 drill. Like always, the players stretched things out and then separated into their individual units. JP Losman and the other quarterbacks worked with the wide receivers and he seemed a little rusty, but not bad. He was off target on a few passes, but got better by the end. Kelly Holcomb was sharp with all his passes and did a good job. CLICK HERE for the rest I will try to upload the photos tomorrow morning after work.
  18. Actually, I've noticed that JP doesn't pat the ball. Or if he does, it is once or twice, before the ball is out.
  19. Can't you feel the sarcasm? This thread is dripping with it.
  20. No problem! Man, I played that over and over again just to enjoy it. It's a nice update of American idiot.
  21. I prefer it. I want him to get all his mistakes and errors out now so that he's not surprised or bothered by it in the season and so it's all out of the way.
  22. It was just a bad throw. JP was off a bit today for some reason. but he did get better by the end of the practice.
