Some Tweets from Bills players wading in the snow are starting to show up and it doesn't look good.  These guys who live in the Southtowns near the stadium are snowed in  (34+ inches and counting).   I have no idea how they will get to the airport if they can't get out of their own driveways.

SNOW DAY. All Schools are closed. The snow removal equipment prioritizes streets leading to hospitals. During the Blizzard of 77 I was in Batavia and I lived right across from Genesee Memorial. I had friends from town cross country ski to my house to play euchre and drink beer lol

Storms can be fun times as long as you're not stuck out on the road somewhere.

I heard Brandon Beane say that tickets would be cheaper than standard prices and hoped Bills fans in Michigan would be coming.  I have Courtyard hotel near stadium booked.  Anyone know much about downtown sports bars.  My son in law (Browns fan) was sorry to miss the Buffalo experience, but would like to catch Buckeyes game if we get there early enough.  Looks like a 4 hour drive from Cleveland and wouldn't mind meeting up with some TBD fans.

Ask around, I'm sure there will be plenty of Michigan fans willing to assist a Buckeye fan any way they can ;)

We have season tickets to the Lions and we have to respond by 12 noon today to receive 4 free complimentary tickets in the lower bowl. Of course we're getting the free tickets.  But I also have Bills season and hopefully I will have some preference over the public for better seats then the free ones.

For real?  So Lions season ticket holders are able to scoop up 4 lowers for free before Bills season ticket holders have a chance to purchase tickets for a Bills "home" game?  Jeez.

Savvy Lions ST holders could scoop up their 4 freebies and scalp them off...if they get anything it's a profit and if they are stuck with them they aren't out a penny.

Greektown/ Bricktown/ Waterfront all good options (all next to each other).

You want to stay in the 75/ 375 loop. All those neighborhoods are in that loop, as if Ford Field.

Safe (relatively), lots of good food options, lots of hotels, the casino etc.

If you like deep dish pizza, Detroit does a good job of it IMO.

PizzaPapalis in Greektown was a post-game staple, but sadly they didn't survive the pandemic.  So sad seeing great establishments just disappear.  Wanted to take my kid for steak at Ditka's when we were in Chicago a few weeks ago and they shut their doors as well.  If Ditka's can't make it in Chicago who the hell can??

  7. The Bills should have a presale with eligibility based on TBD poster reputation...I can think of a few of you who won't be making the cut 😉

I wonder which side of the field the bills will claim.  Normally I’d assume the lions side, but McDermott seems to like consistency.  Since they play again Thursday it wouldn’t surprise me if the bills setup on the visitor side.  Curious as i prefer sitting on the bills side so I’d hope to know before I buy my tickets.

Beane said in yesterday's presser that they will use all of the visitor amenities including the sideline to keep it consistent for Thursday.

Interesting note, I tried to download the bills app because I didn’t have it and it says it is “currently unavailable for purchase as it is being modified” … I’m guessing this is a control mechanism to try to let bills fans get tickets before browns. They are opening up to STH and then current Bills app users first.

Interesting...someone posited upthread that the Bills may run ticket sales through the app.

  9. I have looked everywhere I can think of but can't find details for ticket sales other than there is a presale presumably for ST holders at 2pm this afternoon, perhaps another presale for Bills app users (or maybe it is rolled in with the same 2pm presale), and at some point after that it would open to the general public.  Tickets prices will be "significantly" lower.

Outside of these limited details, nothing has been communicated.  I would hope emails with presale codes go out to ST holders early this morning.  Would also like to know if there are any ticket limits.

Was flying into BUF w family for the game. Just changed airline tix to DTW.   I’m not that familiar w Detroit.  Anyone have a recommendation for a good area / hotel to stay?  And good restaurant for Saturday night?

I've stayed in Detroit a number of times for Tigers games and always try to get a place in Greektown...the Atheneum was always a nice hotel.  Fishbones is a great restaurant and there are plenty of other options in the area along with the casino.  It is an easy walk to the stadium as well, only half a mile right down the road.

Details on tickets and other game day information for Sunday's game in Detroit will be announced shortly. The Bills will provide information for those fans with tickets to the game originally scheduled for Orchard Park.

Hoping there’s an option to have existing tickets honoured…but I doubt it.

Yeah.  And they probably take a bus from Cleveland.  I can't see them flying for that trip.

Ashtabula to Hamburg is absolutely brutal through Erie and Southern Tier at times. I white knuckled that drive dozens of times right down middle of I90...

As long as they don't let Myles Garrett drive the bus they should be alright...

Because when football started way back in the early days, pushing the runner was a huge part of the game and many times the games became huge masses of bodies pushing the runner forward as the plays and it devolved into a giant scrum.

The game was very much boring and pints were common, many times kicked on 2nd or 3rd downs and were the "excitement" of the game that many times would end 0-0 or with a single team scoring one time to win.

It's a long way of saying because it's always been a part of the sport.

    Hmm, sounds like baseball 😉

Doesnt look to me as if Josh is trying to run before he has it.  It looks like he is trying to get the ball that he never got a hold of.

I agree, Josh wasn't trying to run before he had the ball...it was just a muffed snap.  The problem came after the snap was muffed and Gabe pushed Josh as he was trying to fall on the ball.
