How to keep your blood pressure down

What about now? -
Well, I'd take anyone over Trent. I'd take Leaf over Trent.
-
Trent is terrible, he's holding back this offense.

What would we really talk about on here if you had it your way?

Also there are so many Bills fans in Canada, who are so die-hard, that if Toronto ever got a team (that was not the Bills), most of the Bills fans here would still make the commute to Buffalo to cheer for their beloved Bills. To a lot of us, the Bills are the home team.

Wow, great post... So you see a group of Canadians and see their behaviour and judge all Canadians by it? I'm Canadian and I went with a group of about 8 other guys (also Canadian), all die-hard Bills fans. We were into the game as much as anyone else, because if you're a Bills fan it doesn't matter whether you're Canadian or American or whatever, everyone who's a Bills fan comes together to one venue and any differences are non-existent for the entire game. I'm sure there were some Americans who weren't big Bills fans either, or who weren't that into the game. Ever been to the borders after a Bills game? It's a nightmare if you're trying to get back into Canada, from all the Bills fans going back home. What you said is basically a lot like someone saying "Buffalo doesn't deserve the Bills because their fans are all vandals. Last week a couple of Bills fans went and wrote all over Leodis McKelvin's lawn, just cause he made a mistake. The team should be somewhere with more respectable fans." Trust me, it sounds stupid, but I'm sure some of the fans of other teams said it.

The Bills culture of losing
CFLstyle replied to BEAST MODE BABY!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That said, I thought that Jauron coached one of his best games yet. He coached up to the level of Belichek for once, and I was impressed. The players just couldn't get the job done this game. Not sure why people are blaming coaching. -
The Bills culture of losing
CFLstyle replied to BEAST MODE BABY!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was watching this game with another Bills fan, a Pats* fan, and 3 neutral fans. As soon as Fred Jackson scored the touchdown to go up by 11, me and the other Bills fan looked at each other and said "what are they gonna do to f*ck this up this time?" If all of their meltdowns in the past didn't come into your mind then I'm amazed. -
This may have been the worst. We were against a division rival. This game had been anticipated for so long. We lost all 6 divisional games last year and really needed to break that streak. And we had lost 11 in a row to the Pats and had a chance to break that streak. We had a chance to go on Monday Night Football, and finally beat the Pats, in their own backyard, in front of the entire nation, to break our 11-game losing streak against them. Doesn't get much worse than that...

It's funny how some people are so bothered by this team, and even consider changing teams or just giving up football. It's just a game, and it's not to say I don't love the Bills and always cheer for them, and it's not to say it doesn't bother me when they lose. Last night I was completely devastated. That said, I love this team, I love cheering for them, and despite the constant losing, I can't wait for every Sunday to roll around.

There was so much confusion after the first sack. It looked like Edwards wanted to run the play, or just spike the ball, without using a timeout. He rushed to the line and looked ready to go. And all of a sudden Levitre started calling for the timeout.

Evans just wants to win...he's a trooper.

Crabtree to re-enter draft

So if Crabtree were to enter next year's draft, what kind of compensation would the Niners receive? Anything? -
Don't think there will be a blowout on Monday night
CFLstyle replied to PeteBills4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I definately think the Bills have a shot. I'm just worried, that's all. I want them to look good. If they put up a fight and play even with the Pats, then it's a promising sign. They're going to be just as fired up as we are. -
I seriously think we need to trust the coaching staff here. If Jauron didn't think these young guys on the line could handle the no huddle, he wouldn't have gone with it, and most certainly wouldn't still be sticking with it. It might struggle a big early, but when you think about how young this offense is, it might be best for the long run. Everyone's saying we must win this year. Well, I don't find that to be necessarily true. It would be nice to win, but you can't put all your eggs in one basket. This is finally developing a young Oline from scratch, instead of compiling a makeshift offensive line. When the team struggles for the first half of the season, don't throw in the towel. I half a feeling the second half of the season is going to be much better, and heading into next year we'll have a lot of momentum. (Yes, cue the argument "that's how it is every year." True, but I'm not sure this is their year with the difficult schedule and a new offensive line. As much as nobody wants to admit it, this team has all the makings of a two-year plan.

These are my thoughts, there's absolutely no way on earth that he would do that intentionally to disrespect the flag.

The presentation looks a lot nicer, but I've barely even played and there are a few things that have really frustrated me. I've been using 15 minute quarters, with accelerated clock of 25 seconds, the maximum. It's great, the game takes about an hour and it makes things more realistic. Under 2 minutes in each half, the accelerated clock stops anyway. This is an awesome way to do things. On to problems: obviously I don't expect it to be perfect, and most years I'm pleased and not much bothers me. One thing that I don't like is that on most turnovers, the defense scores a touchdown, whether it be a fumble or an interception return. I'm 4 games into my season and I'm averaging about 2 defensive touchdowns for per game, and 2 against. I started on a lower level and now I'm almost up to all-madden (custom level, between all-pro and all-madden but closer to all-madden). This might seem like a little thing, but trust me, it's really annoying. Anyone else noticing the same thing in regards to easy defensive touchdowns? Also, on field goals, my team gets a holding penalty on literally ever other field goal attempt, setting me back 10 yards. It's OK to have holding on field goals once in a while, but make it realistic. I've had 0 holding or clipping calls on offense, and a lot on field goals. Makes no sense to me. Finally, I've had 3 safeties (for or against) and on each and every safety punt, there's a glitch where it just shows the kicker, and you can't see what's going on, you can't see the returner or the tackle or even where he gets to until after the play. This is all for the 360. Other than that, I love the game, it's a big step up.

zing! he strikes again.

Which Patriot sacks Edwards the most?
CFLstyle replied to Billistic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope, sorry Dwight. -
He's not that bad, at RT he'd be one of our better linemen. Hopefully he can adjust to playing LT, or else a change will be in order.

Jason Peters Interview on ESPN.com
CFLstyle replied to LynchMob23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, I happen to think the opposite, that offense is going to be deadly, and the defense was pretty good to begin with. Plus, wouldn't they rally around the death of Johnson? That is, after the initial shock wears off. -
I hope he doesn't sh-t on our quarterback.
