  1. Its been repeated on here before: Lee Evans contract will pale in comparison to the top guys at the end of the year. After he signed his contract, Roy Williams got a 5 year 45 mil contract. More top guys (and guys that don't deserve it) will receive rediculous contracts this year and next. Remember Berrians 7 year 49 mil? Remember nate Burleson's 7 year 49 mil the year before that? 9 mil a year will be the standard for guys of that caliber in the future.

I guarantee that by March of 2010 Lee Evans won't even be in the top 10 receiver money category. If he is, he'll be 9 or 10. Its the way of the NFL, and the bills had to keep their top guy, even if it looks like they're overpaying him now.

Exactly- I do not have a problem with his contract, just throw him the damn ball.

  2. Lee is a game changer! However, you have to have an OC willing to get him the football. Plus it helps to have help on the other side of him.....

Every game changer at WR or teams #1 guys ALL have another SOLID WR on the other side. Name one team who dont? I can....Buffalo Bills.....

I think we call can blame the OC on this one not Lee Evans.

Somebody needs to step up to the plate and provide inforfation on WHY Lee Evans has become a 40 million dollar decoy.:thumbsup:<_<:wallbash::wallbash:

  3. Do not know much about Jimmy Kennedy- wonder what Stoud's input is.

The Jaguars today waived seventh-year veteran guard Milford Brown and fifth-year veteran defensive lineman Jimmy Kennedy.

Brown was originally signed on Sept. 9 and started four of his six games at guard after season-ending injuries to starters Vince Manuwai and Maurice Williams.

Kennedy signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent on March 5 from Chicago and played in six games this season with eight tackles and one sack.

The Jaguars, who play at Houston next Monday night, now have 51 players on their active roster.

  4. people can complain about it all they want, but kelsay will be a bill in '09........he's a good locker room guy who brings it all on sunday........is he the most talented player? nope, but he does his job and works hard..........yes, he was a big part of the long LJ run yesterday, but that is one play and he was far from the only one out of position - why aren't you pointing the finger at them?.........and i don't see how any evaluation of his game yesterday ignores the two tackles he made FOR LOSS

Wide right- Kelsay is wide left!!

He is never near the QB. God I hate watching that pathetic DE pass rush. :o

  5. sorry.. Stroud is going to be an old man sooner rather than later.. Our defensive ends are too undersized to play in a 3-4 and .. Oh ya... didnt we try this about 10 years ago???

    Didn't we go to 4 Superbowls with a 3-4.....

It's all personnel- Jesus, I got blown out of here in the pre-season because I said the Jets made the moves to be contenders.

Whatever defense you play you have to have bad ass lineman. All teams have to do is double team Stroud and the other light weights get blown off the line. If our idiot front office does not cut Kelsay, and replace with a stud, add 1 more good tackle AND a stud OLB, this problem will always be there

  6. I believe Mr. Drizzy is suggesting that, this Sunday, the fans should make sure that honor goes to The Ralph.

I live in Florida, it is a major planned out ordeal to get to the Ralph. The last time , opening day against the Jets last year, I bought great seats ( I thought) lower bowl, where the team came out 10yd line. It was like being in CHURCH. The fans behind were quiet, if you stood up an cheered on 3rd down, the whining and bitchin' started. :D

  7. In case anyone wanted to read about the history of the NFL in HD, here's the entire history. Packers, Gmen, Coygirls, and Pats have had the most games. Bills appear to be a bit below average, but considering how poor the team has been in past ten years, and as small of a market you have here, I'd say not too bad.

    NFL in HD

    Supercast- every Sunday <_<

  8. Didn't elaborate much but seemed to agree, or at least didn't dispute it.

Not when I was listening, about 4:00. I didn't hear Marty, but a caller asked about the Bills/ Jags game, the announcer picked Jags- said Buffalo was too young on the road, facing too  tough of a defense. Kept talking about how Gerard whipped them last year, Marshawn had 76yds. Didn't realize he only played 3 quarters, because he only needed too!

The same announcer that was kissing Kyle Williams butt yesterday....

  9. Guys,

Being stationed in Mayport for 4 years. I never missed a Jacksonville game. THE TICKETS WERE FREE! Jacksonville has not officially sold out a game in years! The entire upper bowl is for Military (free tickets as long as you are in uniform) and most sections are tapped off with business advertisements THE WHOLE SECTION IS TARPED! If the lower bowl is full, then it’s a sell out due to the uppers tarp system. There are Jacksonville fans but most are Phin fans. They are VERY RUDE FANS... So be watchful where you park. Do not use stubhub for tickets. There are always a thousand people in the lot trying to get rid of extras. Now I have not been to a game in a year so I don’t know how much has changed if any...

    Thought this would help.

I am about 2hrs. away, wonder if it would be worth driving and scalping? They NEVER sellout. I went to one game 4 yrs. ago on opening day, I believe we got some of the military tickets for $10!!

  10. Thanks , I have a grandson statiioned out of state who is a big Bills fan. Guess I will have to get one.

Dont know why they cant open an internet feed for audio or maybe video when the game is a sell out.

I had my laptop with the Patriot game on  with the direct tv supercast feed. Worked excellent!!

  11. It's always been like that -- you need Superfan to get the games in HD. Superfan also gives you the ability to stream games over the internet, "Shortcuts," each game cut down to less than 30 minutes, and some other stuff.

Call DirecTV, ask for customer retention, and tell them that new customers are getting Superfan for free and ask what they can do for you. I haven't paid for it in the three years that it's been around.

Thank you, thank you  ......

  12. Just scanning through the channels, it looks like no HD games unless you pay for Superpass??

Every game listed has a separate for - 1 for HD. For example, the Bills are listed on ch. 710, 710-1 is HD. Every game is like this- am I missing something, or are we getting boned on HD games without Superpass?
