  1. Its the product guys...

So what, we won a couple of games,  big friggin deal!  Who did we beat?  Anybody?

Same crap, same team, same lame "the product is getting better" saying by Wilson every year.

Say what you want but the people of Buffalo are not dumb.  Money is being dumped into the Sabres Product now.  How can you blame anyone?  The fans of this city deserve to win and are VERY loyal to their teams...

We have seen the same junk from the Bills for the past 12 years.  We ruined our drafts the past few years and pissed away some great draft picks for players who are not here anymore....

This team is years out from being great.....  Sad fact to swallow....  And I dont think its Ralph who can get us over that hump again...

That answers any doubt that I had. Thanks for being brutally honest.

  2. I know when he was filling in for Spikes he looked good, and then injuries and Spikes put him back to the bench.  The guy can flat out play though.  Looks like a great late round pick for the Bills.  Very fast to the ball and attacks the ball carrier.  I really liked what I saw yesterday.

More proof that the Bills had a great draft.

  3. Thanks for the shout out.... but SACTO is right.

Willis ran hard today... even in short yardage situations when there was no hole, Willis put his head down and fought for tough yards.  That did not happen last week. You (and other Willis apologists) will claim that there "were no holes to run through."  I respectfully disagree. With Willis' speed and power, many of his 0-1 yard gains could have been 3-4 yard gains.  In Willis, I seen a maddeningly inconsistent back.  But I sure loved watching him today!

    Could not agree more.

  4. I agree. I think this kid has an unbelievable amount of potential if he just gets his sh-- strait. He obviously has the drive and wants to play but he has got to show some heart out there. This offense needs a leader and it looks like they are all looking at each other waiting for someone to step up. But like the ole saying goes "potential means that you havent done sh-t yet" Bill Parcells.

This has also been huge in the development of Losman and the conservative play calling. How many times has our running game failed to pick up a yard on 3rd and 1. Or 4th and 1 ? They don't even try anymore.....

  5. This article is about as close as you'll get to having Marv blast Willis for "not hitting the hole".  I'm glad it mentions guys like Willie Parker and Julius Jones because i often say that Willis is behind all those type of players in terms of actual ability not just perceived talent.

Marv should speak out about this. The point Thurman Thomas made earlier in the year about Willis going out of bounds to start a game instead of leveling his defender to set the tone of the game, probably hit home with Marv.

How much trash can a player with 26 yds. talk about an up coming game?

Henry got screwed and so did the fans.

  6. Maybe Willis is good, but, like Losman, the proof is in the pudding.  I'm the first to admit that the offensive line has been so bad in the pass protection scheme, it has been impossible to evaluate JP until recently...when DJ made adjustments to enhance pass protection and the line improved somewhat.  The impression I did have was that our run-blocking was less bad than our pass blocking.  I'm just not seeing that much from Willis.  Never understood why we drafted him when we had Henry, nor why we traded Henry. Hopefully WM will show us more.

The Willis- Henry draft- trade is looking really bad now. Henry was a Fletcher type player, who could play behind a bad line. But with that 2004 season Willis looked like the man. Exactly what happened in Antowain Smith's rookie year- the guy knocked people over like they weren't even there- and then nothing, until he was traded.

This position needs to be looked at hard during the off-season. Flame away, but the- "there are no holes" is getting old. This guy didn't need a hole when Henry was here.

  7. Until the Bills either move, or someone else buys them, I will continue to hope and pray that Tommy G one day ends up at One Bills Drive. The guy is a pure winner. He's a leader and he gets things done. If there is a more perfect owner for this franchise, I don't know who it is. If there is someone who could squeeze every last bit of potential out of a small market cold weather team, I don't know who that is either.
