  1. Brilliant!! I would tell them both to STFU and let Willis carry the football- and talk extention about the same time next year. Just like they did with Lindell. Let's face it- If this guy played as hard as say.... Travis Henry did this year, we would not be having this conversation. The Titans do not have a problem paying him this year, because they know he plays hard EVERY game.
  2. Regarding Fletcher's depature, which I think is imminent: Who will be the on-field coach, lining up players? Said Fewell: "He's taken so much heat off the young guys. He's making all the adjustments, calling all the defenses, he's lining the front up and the secondary; he runs the whole show. So yes, to lose him would be tough for us. He's our Ray Lewis from the perspective of he's the guy who people look to." With all that being said, I think a more dominating run stuffing linebacker will benefit this team. Here's hoping Spikes returns to form It would be hard to imagine this guy's career taking a nose dive the way Sam Cowart did. That would be a hard pill to swallow.
  3. A friend of mine is an electrician, and mounted one in his garage, using electrica lmetal conduit. He was able with fittings mounted in the ceiling and floor to remove it and just pop it in when needed. I might add he is quite a sick pup....
  4. Kelly Washington broke his neck in college, can't believe he is playing professional football.
  5. Yup- and HE'S WORTH IT. And if Willis was, well nuff said.
  6. What balls after watching Henry run up and down the field all day. My knock on McGahee- he runs hard when he wants to. At least should have waited to see whaat he does against a stout Ravens defense. Give me that fast little bast*rd from Jacksonville any day. Just my two cents, I'm sure the nickels and dimes will follow......
  7. and FA's. http://www.footballsfuture.com/2007/nfl/freeagents.html
  8. Last week. But the smaller , lighter , faster DT'S MUST GO.
  9. I just saw on ESPN where the Vikings locked up the other Williams DT long term. They are happy with that combo. My biggest question still is what is Marv's plan to stop the run? Pat Williams is the proto-type DT- large enough to stuff the run, but fast enough to give QB's nightmares. Was Tripplett a band-aid for this season, or is he long term material?
  10. Holy crap Pat put on some pounds, still extremely fast and bad ass. Curse the day he ever left Buffalo.
  11. Bills bar in Ft. Meyers- Buffalo chips, I think two of them. Naples is a rich area.
  12. Kelsay has surprised me this year- I just think Denney has out played him. I just long for a premier pass rushing Defensive End from the left side. Anderson has been a huge disappointment. Over the next 3 games, the coaches will evaluate Kelsay. I fell off my chair when they re-signed Denney, but he has had a great season.
  13. Reed's not going anywhere. Signed a big contract, plays well. You are right, I believe most of those players will be replaced. You can throw Kelsay in the mix.
  14. I would. What a jerk. Yeah, that's who I would want running my team. Someone who would leave in a heartbeat- right in a Superbowl run. I would give him to the end of the season. And legally, I am sure it would be easy to void his contract. http://rams.aolsportsblog.com/2006/12/15/f...am-fans-season/
  15. Save your money- we have beaten them 4 out of 5, a win Sunday is a 06 sweep.
  16. http://www.footballsfuture.com/2007/nfl/freeagentsDL.html This is the first I saw of Dwight Freeney being a UFA. How about Justin Smith opposite Shoebel??
  17. That answers any doubt that I had. Thanks for being brutally honest.
  18. The likely scenario has them shifting Mike Gandy back out to left tackle and inserting rookie Aaron Merz at left guard. If that isn't enough to make you jump off the Falls................
