I think Levitre should come in and get a chance to develop a bit before being thrown in there. If he comes into camp and picks everything up quick and wows everyone thats one thing, but he shouldn't be penciled in as a starter from day one. Right now my line is LT Walker, LG Wood, C Hangy, RG Butler, RT Chambers. And of course Bell, Levitre and McKinnie will have the opportunity to win jobs at camp and preseason.

They're playing him at safety...the DBs coach said so in an interview, the video is on bb.com. Ko Simpson or John Wendling will probably be cut, and they're not exactly All-Pros.

But as an opening day starter, Astro? I'd rather let a rookie enter the league behind a stop-gap vet with some experience in our system, and let a mid-round rookie develop and compete for the job down the road.

They were probably waiting to see how the draft played out, and now that they decided to go in other directions, we need a stop-gap. I really don't want either Ellison or a 4th round rookie to come in and start opening day. Keiaho could be a nice signing to round out the front seven, and would come cheap. Git'r done, group GM.

Thats not the only time I've heard him compare Maybin to Jason Taylor. McShay's been real high on Maybin through the whole process. Most people seem to think he's the best speed rusher available this year. Lets just hope he reaches his upside.

The price to get from #17 to #2 has to be pretty steep. We could be talking about the Jets losing their #1 pick next year.

ESPN has a reporter at OBD, and he said he had just got off the phone with Russ Brandon. Russ told him they "probably won't" package the two 1st rounders together to move up, and they probably won't move down either. Reporter said they believe 11 is a good spot to be in this draft.

Didn't they say Curry's deal would've been 5 years/$57M? Why was he gonna get over $11M a year but Stafford isn't even getting $7M a year? That deal seems remarkably low for a QB 1st overall. edit: Ah, the post above mine explains it. Probably should edit the thread title.
