isn't ronnie brown out w/ a broken hand?
-
coy wire was a pretty good LB @ stanford
i tihnk his instincts are more suited to LB, as opposed to a defensive back. however, good luck with him having to take on blockers and whatnot

Please, Bill, tell me why Anthony Thomas gets so many more yards out of running behind this line than McGahee does.
Perfect example of why McGahee has to go...The PERFECTLY executed screen play in which he had a minimum of 5 yards upfield...all he had to do was run up the field. What did he do? He stopped, took a step sideways, took a step the other way, then tried to dive for the first down, only to end up 4 inches or so shy.
God that was frustrating.

well, in that case phil,
"if we hadn't let tomlinson get 178 yards then we probably win, something like 31-7"

vick should be moved up because his receivers drop at least 5 passes a week. brian baldinger had a review of his last game against the saints and vick didn't do anything wrong that game except hit his receivers where they can't catch it - in the hands.

We'd have an awesome Wisconsin connection at receiver going on

those comparisons were cool, but i'm particularly fond of the captain smoot avatar

How many impact linebackers exist that doesn't play MLB 31 or older?
None, and many aren't going over the worst possible injury to an athlete's career on a job made on quickness. So add a horrendous injury and the fact that he's going to be back at 31 with no good/great LBs at 31 and all you have is a big cap hit.
If he does come back out of some freak genetic display do you really think he is going to play out his salary at his performance? I don't see anyone really believing that. TKO was great, now he's sub-par. I hope he destroys the league, I just don't see it with my reality glasses on.
Derrick Brooks has something to say about this.

less 7 step drop plays

For your viewing information only; do with them what you will:
Career stats:
Eli "The Savior" Manning: 34 starts, 72.3 rating (76 this year)
Big Ben Roethlisberger: 35 starts, 88.4 rating (72.3 this year)
Philip Rivers: 11 starts, 92.2 rating
J.P. Losman: 19 starts, 74.9 rating (84.1 this year)
Question: which of these four QBs has had the least "supportive" cast (OL, WRs, RBs, etc.)?
Giants -- Tiki, Plaxico, Shockey
Steelers -- great OL, the Bus, Willie Parker, Hines Ward
Chargers -- LT, Gates, another great OL
Bills -- crappy OL, McGahee, Evans, no TE
Edit: Giants, Steelers, and Chargers all have maintained coaching consistency as well.
Very interesting.
not to take anything away from roethlisberger being overrated, because he is, but his OL this year hasn't really done too well. he was just sacked 9 times by the ravens last week.

Did you see the quarterback ratings for this season?
Leinart- 29 out of 33
that sh------- outing last week actually managed to RAISE his rating.
