    AJ Green is awesome, no doubt, but I think our needs on defense were too glaring to pass a talent like Dareus. and re: outrunning the cover-two, tillman was supposed to jam/redirect johnson at the line and didn't, giving him a free release (not to take anything away from johnson's prodigal talents)

    i hope so. i really do. i'm just very skeptical about a defense that gives up so much chunk yardage being able to just flip a switch and suddenly be able to lock teams down.

    like i was telling new england fans on another board, when their defense is being so generous with the yardage and depending on takeaways to stop the opponent, their defense isn't that great. it's the offense that's winning the games.

    we've had two interceptions bounce off of receivers' feet the past two games. if that's not lucky, i don't know what is...

    i loved his tenaciousness on one blitz late in the game, he blitzed in from the left side and tried to jump through the running back trying to block him to get to vick.

    I'm all for the support, I think there's just a bit of overkill in the pink in the uniforms.

    one point that no one really brings up (that i disagree with) is the call for the screen pass on third and goal that we ended up settling for a field goal on... i think we were settling in that case instead of trying to attack and get it in there.

    I don't understand the whole 'angry' thing, especially in football. like when people would say, "oooh, you don't want to make tom brady angry..." what's he going to do, throw the football even BETTER?

    michael johnson and carlos dunlap on their defense scare me.

    did you see the 4th down touchdown the patriots had? nick barnett smacked welker, welker bounced off of him and continued running his route and got the touchdown.
