  1. That's fine, but your claim that the D only added one starter in Kiko was patently false. Manny Lawson and Hughes: both starters. It also added consistent rotational guys Leonhard, Robey and Branch. All told, the roster saw 50% turnover. Is that not blowing it up??
  2. I don't recall questioning his heart. Ever. And I sure as hell wasn't the one who brought up his mom. Team didn't exactly look lost without him today.
  3. I think we can rest this case. NO MORE BLUE PANTS
  4. Wow, way to exploit the guy's tragedy to cherry pick a completely irrelevant point.
  5. Nope. Not the case for me at all. We've seen him produce, he's obviously capable of it. I, however, am on record saying he needs to go to a place where he can sink into a support role and not be a leader. He'll never be that in Buffalo, but if he finds it elsewhere, I fully expect him to be productive, as you say.
  6. Well, Monday Night Football alone draws about 15 million. Granted, they'd lose a lot of those if people had to deliberately pay/tune in. Actually, Monday, Thursday and Sunday night football, games get about 30 million viewers.
  7. 42 million a week @ $0.99 per would cover it. Ya don't think the NFL could attract 42 million viewers/week league wide? And that's not counting playoffs/Super Bowl
  8. Damn, no updates re: streaming options like the one that came with Madden this year, or ones that have been available through Playstation's network in the past...really hoping they keep these. Not having to to go the bar was pretty sweet this season.
  9. Hahahahaha. that !@#$ing dog is having the time of its life!!!
  10. I think it's highly debatable whether or not he can be replaced. And I think his absences this season demonstrate that quite clearly. I do, however, fully agree that he shouldn't be cut to save costs.
  11. Wasn't the Naked Gun series taken from the Police Squad television series??
  12. And one could argue that Fitz would be the second best QB in the AFCE this year too. I understand your 'backup' argument. I just don't think it's that relevant considering he's paid like a top 20 wide receiver. So whether or not plays are designed for him, or whether or not his catch volume is diminished he's still paid to be a player he would not be.
  13. Um...what? Through 69 Games: Stevie, 3828 yards, 28 TD's Andre, 4,213 yards, 30 TD's I think that's a wildly inaccurate equation of their respective performances in the clutch. Especially given volume, especially how you prefaced your point.
  14. Again, I don't know why were were completely intolerant of paying Fitz money he didn't deserve, but that logic no longer applies to Stevie...
  15. That's fine, but this is a great opportunity to apply last year's universally agreed-upon Fitz principle. It was then we said: he's a great backup, but not for the price we're paying him. Well, if Stevie has proven himself the second coming of David Nelson, then everyone here should agree that he only stays if he agrees to significantly less money. Right?
  16. I had considered adding a third option 'only if they get the right value,' but I don't think many Bills fans would argue he's not worth a first or second round pick, so rather than dwell on the minutia, I opted to focus on the basic principle: whether or not the consideration ought even be made. I'm actually pretty shocked by that. I know it's not an even split, but I didn't expect it to be so one-sided here in the early going. We'll see how it shapes out.
  17. Well, you don't need to be double teamed by MarkAF43 and me. He's doing a fine job.
  18. I disagree with both parts of your post. But I don't see any outcome in a forthcoming debate wherein you'd agree with me, so...
  19. Right, because their biggest weakness is not having Peyton playing for them.
  20. I know there are a million threads, but I haven't seen a poll. Let's see how this one pans out.
  21. OP modified: let's put it to a vote!!
  22. I'll watch Sunday, and I'm going to the Miami game. At this point, I'm just savoring my last three opportunities to watch our boys line up before the agonizing nine-month hiatus.
  23. I don't know if a fan base has ever been so split before! This harkens to the JP v Edwards days! Different strokes, I guess, but color me firmly in the white column!
