A man can die but once, but don't try to tell that to Bills fans, who've died 1,000 deaths. How do you lose a playoff game on a contested backward lateral kickoff return. Just after your kicker boots a 51-yard field goal that apparently has won the game with 16 seconds left? Only Bills fans know.
I don't remember Christie's kick being 51 yards...I believe it was much closer than that.

Remember the Blue-Gray game? I think it was played in Montgomery, AL on Christmas Day...
The only thing I remember from those games was the 'southern belles' that use to patrol the sidelines.

Wrote in a post yesterday...there is nothing equal in American sport to losing four Super Bowls in a row.
The rest be damned...were the most miserable...by far.

My heart bleeds purple pi$$ for him...
I'm sorry, but there is no other feeling in American sport that rivals losing four Super Bowls in a row...no Red Sox (until recently), Cubs, Browns, Jets, or Philly fan can match it, no matter what the national media portrays.

I think the worst form of torture I've heard of was having some woman strip in front of a man until he got a hard on. Then guards shoved a glass tube up his urethra and beat his penis so the glass would shatter into millions of little chards that were ground into his flesh for life. Had to have people hold him every time he had to take a piss.
I can't remember if that was done in the Soviet Union, some Eastern European country during the cold war of Nazi Germany.
I think I remember Sgt. Schultz doing this to LeBeau in one episode...

Oh please...
the uniforms arse smart. my wife rates them as some of the smartest in the NFL...
other favourite uniforms of my wife however are:
Baltimore Black helmets, black pants, black jerseys: Looks like they fell in a tar pit
St Louis (her favourite) Classic blue and white: now that was "smart"
Seattle The blue on blue is quite possibly the worst uniform in all of sport.
New Orleans I'll give you that one...
Draw your own conclusions. But the women of Britain have spoken.
Oh please, you people are use to uniforms with all sorts of ads on them... your 'footballers' run around the pitch looking like our NASCAR vehicles. So your opinion, like a scoreless soccer game, is 'nill!
Would you feel better if the Bills had a huge OPEL patch on their jersey?

Agree. I will take last season's throwbacks or the uni's from 1973 (blue pants with the road white jersey).

Mrs. Silvius, a waitress at a truck stop (shocking) in Doswell, Va:
"My children know not to come around when I'm on the front porch with my morning coffee, tending to my cows...because I'm having a cigarette," she said.

Scroll down the page a little to find the Shoenfeld album.

"Gramma Got Run Over by a Reindeer"
Slightly humorous the first 200 times I heard it...now I want to stick knitting needles in my ears anytime it comes on.

On ESPN Classic, debuting February 2nd, Super Bowl week. This is actually a pretty good series on Classic, one of the last reasons to watch ESPN.
Anyways, FWIW, here's my top five reasons you can't blame Scott Norwood for losing Super Bowl XXV:
5. The Bills abandoned the running game. Thurman was running wild, should have been the MVP, and should have been featured earlier in the game.
4. Lost chances. Due to Giant hits, Andre Reed suddenly afraid of going over the middle. Bruce does not swat the ball out of Hostetler’s paw in the end zone, resulting in a safety not a TD.
3. Mark Ingram’s (sp?) catch on third and forever. Kept a Giant TD drive alive as Ingram broke several tackles (most notably Shane Conlon).
2. Marv Levy. Marv never had control of his troops when they invaded a Super Bowl city. Bills players have recently boasted of the partying in Tampa during the short Super Bowl week.
1. It was a loooooong FG attempt. On grass. 47 yards. Never known for a strong leg, the chances of Norwood making the kick were no more than 30 percent before the ball was even snapped.

I am a long-time subscriber and my price was $199 for the season...if you want to shell out forty bucks for the last two weeks and have the Ticket in the bank for next year, then get it.

Was at the '93 game where Talley ran back an INT for a TD and Bruce made a circus-catch INT that you still see in highlight clips...
Dang, THOSE were the days.

Fourteen point underdogs at Cincy...nine point underdogs at HOME last week.
It's 'Back to the Future,' 1985-style.

So for the past 3 days ive been seeing this 'BOD man' fragrance commercials im sure most of you have seen them there is one where they are doing football drills(bleachers etc.) and one where they are playing soccer. The football one pans through a row of people and one is totally JP Losman i think, the hair the face everything, even a tattoo??? if JP has one on his left shoulder....Anyone know about this?
The only commercial JP has been in, or mentioned in, is the one for the NFL Fantasy League where some dope claims JP is the second coming of KENNY STAPLER.

This "record" is tainted now, however, thanks to the shootouts...last night's game for example would have been a tie sans the new shootout rule.
But hey, go for the "record" anyways!

That is the key: there is a history of success in Green Bay, three Super Bowls, and more than several NFL championships.
Hey, if you're a Packer fan and can remember at least as far back as to when the Pack beat the Pats, everything else is just gravy.
