He has had a much better year this year than last year

Im actually surprised they benched him. He’s been pretty good this year, not elite but solid starter. They don’t have the picks to go get a QB.

Clearly the trade hasn’t worked as they expected, but this seems more ego driven than actual football move

I couldn't disagree with you more. The game against SD may have been one of his worst yet.

Von Miller has played 243 snaps for the season. In those 243 snaps, he has 3 tackles. Three.

His missed tackle percentage is 40%.

He is hitting the QB, on average, once every 56 pass rush attempts.

To put that into perspective, in Aaron Maybin's last year in the NFL, he hit the QB once every 51 pass rush attempts.

I just mean his burst looks better. I have been very disappointed in his play this year, but I’m hoping he finally gets his legs under him come playoff time

Depends on how it happens…that chiefs defense is really good and it’s the reason they’ve been winning this year

It’s not just a rough patch for the kc offense….theyve looked off all season

Maybe Bienemy was a better coach than we thought

I take every "My teacher/coach/whoever called me a loser for no discernible reason and look where I am today" story with a gigantic grain of salt.

I had a bio teacher in HS that told my mom I wasn't working hard enough. It pissed me off and I got 95% + on every assignment the rest of the year and smacked the first 100 on the fridge when I got home

    That bastard made me try

I mean Pickett has been just as bad if not worse than either of those 2 anyway...basically it's a giant QB crapfest in Pittsburgh this year. Bengals struggle mightily with the Steelers tho, even when they had Burrow. Would not be surprised at all to see the Steelers win a low scoring slugfest.

My dad grew up in Pittsburgh so all my uncles are Steelers fans. They have been complaining about Tomlin all year and I keep telling them the bigger issue is the QB. They flat out do not have one on the roster.

Only for very brief periods. With those two the seriousness of the limitations showed even within the Shanny scheme. That isn't to dispute that he is the best Quarterback hider in the NFL. He totally is. And by a long way. But the fact Purdy has made it last for a year does suggest he is better than Mullens and Beathard.

Purdy is the real deal. He is in the perfect system for him, but he is excellent at running it. I think he is better than Tua, for example. His vision and ability to see what's happening on the field is really impressive. I still think they would have won the SB last year if he hadn't gotten hurt.

I think the Bills will enjoy a January trip to South Florida, maybe for a night game.  Josh has played well in that stadium with good results other than the 12OF in the sun game with the Bills offense on the field for 90+ snaps where Diggs needed 2 IVs, OL got decimated with Tommy Doyle finishing out the game although his knee was wrecked and the offense lost the juice to finish 12+ play drives with TDs.  The Bills will play well there in week 18 and the Bills Mafia will show up and make themselves seen and heard.  If they had to return for a playoff game, that would be fine with me too.

Whats crazy too is the Bills had something like 500 yards of offense in that game. They dominated them despite the heat, just couldnt score

Hall is awesome. Playing with Zack Wilson and behind that o line is making him look much worse than he is.

Oh I agree, my point was that there was more than one good back in that draft. Hall is a good player but hes not a game-changer on his own. Guys like CMC and Bakley are probably the only guys talented enough for that. To miss out on Hall was not a big deal to me

I mentioned this in another thread but it needs to be posted here too:

As of earlier this season there were fans here roasting the Bills for taking Kaiir Elam at 23... especially in the context of the Jets taking Breece Hall at 36.

In that same 2022 draft the Bills took James Cook at 63.

The Jets have plenty of issues, but Hall is on pace for less than 800 yards rushing this year. Thats replacement level back stuff

Devin Singletary is on pace for more yards than Hall to put that in context
