It’s just really strange that you’d rather not a play a team that has a back up QB playing(Steelers and colts both) because you think they can run the ball and that scares you. Especially when we’ve proven we can stop the run. It a very very odd viewpoint
Bills would stomp all three of those teams. No disrespect to any of theirs teams, but a game in Orchard park against Gardner Minshew? Bring it

I still remember when Fitz got Covid before that 2020 finale, ESPN was talking about what a big loss it was for Miami to lose their BACKUP QB.
Then Tua got absolutely rocked. Dude had one good half in college of big time play and has lived off that ever since

There were a lot of bad takes early in this thread.
I mean, he looked pretty rough the last few years. I’m not surprised he’s playing well, the Browns are stacked and Stefanski is a good coach. But if he had been ineffective, I don’t think anyone would have been surprised

I had the same thought… now that he’s healthy, what are the chances that he’s made active and then pinned on Hill (with a safety to bracket him)??? Is that a totally insane idea?
Yes. Elam has done nothing to prove he can handle the best WR in the game, much less in a must win game. Douglas and Benford don’t has his speed, but they can handle Hill

13 of the 15 were either “limited” or “did not practice”. If you’re a player, you’re hurt, you’re on a 5-11 team… are you pushing to play in a meaningless final game? 🤷🏻♂️
As a professional player looking for their next million dollar paycheck? Probably
12 hours ago, Einstein said:No idea how you figured that, but it’s not accurate.
Steelers (-195) vs Ravens (+165) implies the Ravens (who we want to win), only have a 33.9% probability of victory.
Jags (-265) vs Titans (+190) implies the Titans (who we want to win), only have a 22.9% probability of victory.
I’m guessing you’re taking the singular probability of two events (P(team A) + P(team B) - P(team A * team B)), which would be 49% in our case.
.
He probably just figured the Steelers were starting some dude name Rudolph

My mate who is a huge Jags fan (one of the few London Jags that pre-dates them playing here) is terrified about this game. Says that if the Titans bring it the Jags will crumble as they have zero ability to beat physical football teams.
I haven't watched much Jags football this year to know if he is right.
Jacksonville is a really weird team. At times, they look like the best team in football. Other times, they can’t get out of their own way. They have really struggled since Lawrence got his high ankle sprain against cinci a few weeks back. I could see the Titans winning this game easily
Titans are a well coached and physical team. Last game of the year and a chance to knock a division rival out of the playoffs? Especially since Jacksonville knocked them out last year, they will be highly motivated

Tre coming off an achilles is not going to start over either Benford or Douglas.Hence “if he is healthy”

Where would Tre play next season? Not in front of either Douglas or Benford.
Don't be ridiculous. If Tre was healthy he would 100% be starting over these guys. Tre White is an all pro. Benford is a good corner and so is Douglas, but the Bills would much rather have a healthy Tre White, as would most of the league

You have SO much more to go, if this doc is updated. I would quit and try again next year, and watch all games each week, rather than all at once at end of season. Plus, you could self-scout upcoming Bills opponents and maybe even become a pretty good gambler for the next weeks games.
That doc isn’t accurate. I kept track on a printed schedule. Forgot to take a picture of it today. If I have time tomorrow at work, I’ll update the spreadsheet. I made it until about week 10 for most teams, then trailed off on a few.
The panthers are one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen. Bryce Young makes EJ Manuel look like Tom Brady

Only someone with a losers mentality would consider the OP’s non-competitive idea.
Yup, its one thing to be locked into a slot. Cleveland, Baltimore, SF could rest guys and it would make sense. Everyone else plays to win

Lots of needless Tua hate. He's a pretty good QB. And seems like a nice kid too. Hope he gets his.
No hate, Tua is good. They can win with him. It just seems like something is missing from his game. If he gets off script, he really struggles
Games against the Titans, Bills and Ravens show what happens if the D can disrupt him

Bills fans have no idea how bad the rest of the league is.

People dumping on Dalvin doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Breece was healthy and always gonna be the primary ball carrier. Dalvin was there to be another piece in a Rodgers based offense that could run and catch the ball out of the backfield. But Rodgers went down and all that was left was a terrible OL, QB, and OC. Dalvin doing little in a low use scenario on a truly awful offense doesn't mean he is shot and couldn't still have some value to a contending team.
Don't be surprised if KC or Balt sign him for the post season. He would have value on both teams right now.
I’m not dumping on him, but the move
made little sense any way you slice it. He as dumped last year after his YPC and effectiveness was clearly dropping. His yards and touchdowns are more
volume than production. The jets were always going to feature Hall more and for more than 5 million? They couldn’t find that production elsewhere?
Another organization signing a name instead of watching film

Perhaps the least surprising story of the entire season was Dalvin Cook being ineffective for the Jets

Why? It's like when the Bills sat Tyrod a few seasons back in the season finale to avoid some cap hit/payout the following season incase he got hurt.
I saw something with the NFLPA being involved and what the broncos asked was kind of a no-no. I doubt they lose a pick, but I could see some kind of fine

They showed Belichick on the sideline after Allen got hit (first down, clinched the win), he looked more concerned for Allen (frustrated with his guys for hitting him like that) than he was upset for losing the game.
Belicheck loves Allen. He always has good things to say about him

Yeah I agree with some of your points but Mahomes would be awesome here. He’d kill to have our receiving core.
Lamar has also never played with close to a receiver like Diggs. I think him and Hurts would be good in our offense as well, though it would be way different. Agree on Tua and Purdy. I think Allen is better than Burrow but Diggs, Kincaid, and Cook are very good weapons in their own right if not as good as Cincy’s WRs (though I’d rather have Cook than the woman puncher Mixon).
He has OBJ this year! Beckham has 34 catches for 532 yards. Gabe Davis for comparison has 43 catches for 752 yards.
Lamar shouldn't be MVP. He is having a good year, but not an MVP season. Josh has more passing TDs than Lamar has total. Josh also has an absurd 13 rushing TDs to Lamar's 5.
I'd argue that Allen, Mccaffrey, Hill, TJ Watt all have better cases than Lamar. JMO

The biggest prize winner of all was Sam Bradford before they capped money for 1st round picks. I think he made a whopping 125M or something in those days !!!
Bradford was pretty good when he was healthy. He was just always injured

Howell will be the next Gardner/ Fitz. Good in spot starts but gets worst the more he plays. He will have a nice career as a backup but he’s not a starter.
Fitz and Howell are basically the same player. Fitz got alot better over the years and I think Howell will too

It’s so stupid. He has that entire organization around his finger and he has played 4 snaps. One incomplete pass, and a sack for minus 10 yards
