I said before the season that if we won more than 5 games, I'd be happy. I have to keep that in mind, but I'm always going to WANT to win 16+ games/season.

I have always been a Sabres fan, with the advent of NHL.com radio - I have been able to feed the addiction - I live in DC now and I chose to get Sunday ticket instead of NHL Center Ice - also, I can't committ to watching all the hockey games (which is why it is just easier to be a Bills fan) but it is cool to have the game on the internet radio when I am doing stuff around the house. If I paid for center ice, then I'd feel like I needed to get my money's worth. It is awesome to listen to Rick & Jim 400 miles away from home!

It's the difference between an instantaneous measurement or a measurement gathered with several points of data. One is considerably more accurate than the other, but this is a message board full of fans who react like the mob. The mob is fickle.

Yeah, if you watch his games, he's got it. Yes he has been inconsistent, but the consensus is that he will be good for a long time. Who would you rather have Eli or JP?

Okay, this season, yes JP has played better than Ben, but you could argue (going into the Bear game) that JP had outplayed Palmer, Hasselbeck, Delhomme etc. Who would you rather build a team around?

Kornhieser is funny as hell. I live in DC and used to read his columns (he writes one, once in a blue moon nowadays) and the were sheer brilliance. Tony & Joe have known eachother for over 20 years, I actually think that the chemistry is there, but it just hasn't manifested itself quite yet on the show because Tony is still getting used to doing the games. It's still a helluva lot better than Dennis Miller.

I agree with the overrated camp. Ralph's $$$ would have been better spent on Pat Williams & Sam Adams.

I've always wanted to go to a Packer game in December at Lambeau - that it is a must for any diehard football fan.

Ben won a Super Bowl and has played well through the vast majority of his limited career - JP has like 10 starts to his name. No comparison yet.

The national consensus on Losman is that he was drafted too high and that he should be farther along in his development. They compare him to Philip Rivers, Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger. Rivers still has the book out on him, but he's looked very good so far. Eli, though a bit inconsistent, clearly will be a great QB for many years. All Ben did was win the superbowl. So, that is what JP is being compared to. It's not difficult to see why they undervalue him in most of our opinions. JP had played decently well up till the Bears game, but to get your panties up in a bunch because people don't think he is that good is a big thin skinned. I for one hope that JP will pan out, I have seen many things to tell me he will. However, until he goes in and wins a game like last weekend, he's going to continue to be disrespected (and kind of rightly so).
