If a minority coach is hired away to become a head coach elsewhere, the team from which he is hired gets the picks.Got it, thanks!

I don’t want to lose him, BUT…
Two 3rd round comp picks will soften the blow.
Why would we get these again? What's the rule?

Isn't 7/22 about 30%?
Yeah, but technically it's 7/25 (gotta include the K, P, and LS). So, 28%.
As an FYI, I don't see this as a big deal at all. The DL has a lot of talent, so let's keep 'em all around and utilize them.

I think it's safe to say that Reid Ferguson "took one for the team" and got cut so someone else could go on IR and re-sign
Question is: who?
It's not Hodgins.
Harrison Phillips maybe?

Dodson vs Beasley

It seems like Dodson is on the side of Beasley, no?

Don't know why we decided to start an all-new thread vs. getting the other one to 100!!

June 1st is 22 days from now... do we think it's possible to average 1.77 pages/day to get us to 100 by then?

Are we offended by this or something?
It appears that many of the folks in here are for some reason.
That throw/catch was one of the top plays in the league last year, so let's all try our best to not get all butt hurt over them tweeting out a picture.
It's as if many of our users forget that they got excited over random plays throughout our 20 years of utter suckage.

We still show the occasional highlight and roll out players from the 90s - good for them on showing a highlight from this season.
Yeah, idk what the big uproar is over this.
We all know that if Diggs had an equivalent play - hail mary, last play of the game, surrounded by three defenders - we'd be showing that highlight 'til the end of time.

Idk, I appreciate Big Spence doing this but that's a very large and heavy man. Thankfully, his form was perfect but this very easily could have gone wrong. I'd rather not see this become a trend.
On a different note, I'm hoping that Brown can adequately play guard. My dream scenario for this season is that he takes over as starter from whoever is doing worse between Ford and Mongo. I guess super dream is that him and Doyle can supplant both.
That would be nice, but Beane mentioned in a press conference that he and Doyle are better-suited to play OT due to their height and will focus on the T positions.

I don’t see the comp to Campbell other than school. They aren’t even close to the same type of player
16 hours ago, Mat68 said:The comp is Cilias Campbell. Same school similar size, similar measurables. Covid 19 allowed a player like Rousseau to fall. As a redshirt freshman first time playing de got 15.5 sacks. If he had 1/2 that production last year he is a top 20 pick.

while I would love this to be true, I don’t really see it. Rousseau played at about 246 and Calais played at close to 290. Even with a full year of bulking, Greg was about 25 lighter on draft day. Maybe Greg can grow into his body, but Calais was an much bigger as a draft prospect.I think the better comp is Carlos Dunlap. Here are their measurables:
Gregory Rousseau
- Height: 6'6"
- Weight: 266 lbs.
- Arm length: 33.75"
- Hand size: 11"
- 40 yard dash: 4.69 sec.
- Vertical: 30"
- Bench press: 21
- Broad jump: 9'7"
- Shuttle: 4.45 sec.
- 3 cone: 7.5 sec.
Carlos Dunlap:
- Height: 6'6"
- Weight: 278 lbs.
- Arm length: 34.5"
- Hand size: 10"
- 40 yard dash: 4.68 sec.
- Vertical: 31.5"
- Bench press: 21
- Broad jump: 9'3"
- Shuttle: 4.61
- 3 cone: 7.21
I couldn't find any of Dunlap's college tape, but some of his NFL highlights look similar to Rousseau's. I'd be pretty happy if Rousseau turned out to be like him.

Agreed. I had been looking forward to this all weekend and all day today.

Okay, good to know others are having the same issue and that it's not just me... definitely strange that there's been no messaging or anything from the Bills about it on the page or in the feed itself.

Did any other season ticket holders get invited to the virtual post-draft analysis?
It says it's supposed to start at 7pm but it's just a black screen right now... I was going to post bullet points in here for anyone who's interested.

Poyer was a 6th rounder, Hyde a 5th rounder. We didn’t need an immediate starter but he sure looks like he could develop into one with this staff and play the Marlowe role in the meantime
I'm curious if we have our future safeties now waiting in the wings - Johnson & Hamlin

Everything I read said this guy was a hard worker who was basically lacking high athletic traits and that is why he was getting drafted where he was. So this is a guy you are basically hoping can overcome lack of immense talent with technique and anger... sound like Feliciano... no thanks. The “fairly athletic” is not what major scouting reports say. They say “sufficient” “durable” “ lacks footwork” so this guy likely doesn’t make the team. He might be lucky to even get in the practice squad.
You wouldn't be happy if our 7th rounder turned into a Feliciano-type player?

Right now the Bills have:
Singletary: I'm not sold on him.
Moss: Also not sold on him.
Antonio Williams: Looked ok in spot duty, but only 12 carries. Can he block? Not sold on him.
Wade: Intriguing non football guy. Fast but old and still learning the game. Likely stuck on the practice squad again.
Breida: JAG.
Taiwan Jones: Less than JAG
So far no UDFA RB's added.
So what's the plan? Will Oline pickups improve the run blocking? Will they grab another team's castoff? Is there a Fred Jackson type UDFA just waiting to be signed?
They might have open tryouts before the season, if you'd like to give it a go!

If an All Pro goes down at any position on any team it’s hard to replace.
Even more so when you have as little depth at the position as we do.

Do you mean Jackson? Johnson only plays inside.

Exactly. Funny story: Bills Pass D was ranked 1 and 4 in 2018 & 2019, two years in which Levi Wallace started 7 and 16(!) games respectively. I'm standing by my running argument that 2020 was a weird year for our defense (and yet Bills still were 13-3 and a game from the Super Bowl).
I'm all for adding a veteran, but this attitude that the Bills are in dire shape at cornerback is silly.
I wouldn't say we're in dire shape, but I think we could use more depth.
We have:
- Tre White - #1, plays outside
- Levi Wallace - maybe our #2, plays outside
- Dane Jackson - maybe our #2, plays outside (I don't remember him getting slot reps last year)
- Taron Johnson - #1 nickel
- Siran Neal - depth, does a bit of both
- Cam Lewis - unknown, only played a few games
- Rachad Wildgoose - unknown
I wouldn't be surprised to see us add more depth to the position between now and the start of camp. If Tre were to go down, YIKES.

Josh Allen is the most important player on this team, hands down. If one of Dawkins or Williams were to go down, the next person up would be Bobby Hart, which none of us should want. We have to protect JA at all costs, even if it means drafting a backup tackle in the 3rd.
I like the pick

Easily the most fun I've ever had at a game.
The crowd was electric from the opening kickoff right on through to the final whistle. I don't think I sat down at all aside from halftime, which was perfectly OK with me. Stayed warm with:
- 4 pairs of pants
- 3 pairs of socks
- An unknown # of layers up top
- 2 sets of hand warmers and toe warmers
- Gloves, hat, and scarf
But the key to the warmth? Cardboard under my feet. I usually start noticing how cold my feet are around half time, but I was good throughout. I'll never not bring cardboard again when it's < 30 degrees.
