  1. Argh, Here I am, living on the other side of the world from the US, on an island in the South Pacific. This is a land of Rubgy, where american football is called, "Gridiron" and is shown at 5:00 am on Monday mornings. No one knows the rules or even any of the teams in the NFL. Anyway, I was just told that my employer, Nelson City Council, just hired another american last week. I thought I'd go downstairs this morning and introduce myself to the new guy and see if he needs any help settling in. What do I see on his desk??? A F'ing New England Patriots coffee mug!
  2. What evidence do you have that suggests that he wants out of Buffalo to play for a Florida team? Yeah, I know he's from there and I also know that his agent is an a-hole, but has he ever mentioned anything to this affect?
  3. I personally don't mind the new uni's at all. Heck, they sure beat the old Goat head. (I'm glad that sorry excuse for a uniform is history.) Go Sabres!
  4. What a horrible tragedy. God Bless those poor kids. God Bless his soul too.
  5. Great post!
  6. That's exactly how I feel. Go Sabres!
  7. Of course we need to sign him up. The more CSU RAMS on the Bills roster the better! (Steve Fairchild was the former OC for CSU, but it was before Bradlee was there believe.)
  8. Me too. Every interview that I've read this past year sounded like Losman has come a long way. His attitude sounds great. Go Bills!
  9. Was he wearing a pair of headsets?
  10. The games starts down here at 7:00 am Monday morning. Unfortunately, the only thing I'll be drinking is my Earl Grey before work followed by more tea at the office. (I'll be following the scores online though.) Go Bills
  11. <silent mode on> Does anyone else think this may look like a bad idea?
  12. Bingo! We have a winner.
  13. What do you guys make of this? Link to story. Positive Press on Iraq Is Aim of U.S. Contract By Walter Pincus Washington Post Staff Writer Thursday, August 31, 2006; A20 U.S. military leaders in Baghdad have put out for bid a two-year, $20 million public relations contract that calls for extensive monitoring of U.S. and Middle Eastern media in an effort to promote more positive coverage of news from Iraq. The contract calls for assembling a database of selected news stories and assessing their tone as part of a program to provide "public relations products" that would improve coverage of the military command's performance, according to a statement of work attached to the proposal. The request for bids comes at a time when Bush administration officials are publicly criticizing media coverage of the war in Iraq. The proposal, which calls in part for extensive monitoring and analysis of Iraqi, Middle Eastern and American media, is designed to help the coalition forces understand "the communications environment." Its goal is to "develop communication strategies and tactics, identify opportunities, and execute events . . . to effectively communicate Iraqi government and coalition's goals, and build support among our strategic audiences in achieving these goals," according to the statement of work that is publicly available through the Web site http://www.fbodaily.com . ... 14. I was only able to listen to The Coach for two years due to where I lived. (It was Wade's last and Greggo's first year I think.) Sure, the guy (Dickerson) has football smarts and had real experience in the NFL, but anyone who doesn't think that he has an axe to grind is simply delusional. Although those were horrible years to be a Bills fan... this guy only made it worse. B word B word whine like a baby B word cry B word although he's certainly capable for critiqueng some bad players, or boneheaded coaching, Mr Dickerson did it with anger and hatred. He's a total wanker.
  15. Pats - 28 Bills - 17 We'll be looking for our groove the first few games...
  16. Uh oh. (i agree, though.)
  17. Yup, I remember that too. Crying shame it had to end that way with Thurman.
  18. That's exactly what I was thinking. I was very impressed with things Willis showed two years ago. The guy from last year... seemed deflated. The new Marv Levy regime has shown a lot of promise so far. I guess it helps that our leader has studied great leaders in history during his career. This also shows just how inept we've been for years now. It's damn good to breathe some fresh air around here... it's been stale for a damn long time. GO BILLS
  19. I had the same reaction when I read this. Most everything that I've read about JP this offseason has given me confidence. (Same goes for Jauron.)
  20. Was there ever a study that showed which fans B word about their own team the most? (as in... "We're DOOMED!")
  21. Thanks for that Trip. Does anyone know why he hasn't used it much since two years ago? I assume that they wouldn't coach him to stop it. I used to have visions of Jim Brown watching him paste defenders...
  22. anyone? anyone? Bueller?
  23. G'Day, I haven't been able to see any of the preseason games down here and was wondering if McGahee is using his stiff arm again. Two years ago he used it as a vital tool to his running style, but didn't really seem to use it last year. (From what I've heard.) I would love to imagine what this guy is fully capable of doing using all of his tools. (Speed, power, quickness and Bam!... the stiff arm.)
