  1. Agreed!!! On WGR yestarday afternoon the topic of character came up. I believe Willis is a talented back and a great. To come back from the injury he sustained is proof right there. He is mediocre but not a bust. The Bills took a chance on kid who most thought would never play again. Now he is signed by another team who has great enthusiasm and expectations of him. Thats not a bust But lets face it to be a true Buffalo Bill takes a type of devotion that you do not see anymore!! Steve Tasker, Mark Kelso, Biscuit, Jim Kelly, Thurman, Andre, (I dont think Bruce possesed it tho He was just great) They exemplified what Marv looks for in a player. Willis....he is the modern day talented premadonna---the next TO. When a player establishes longevity w/ one team it shows his devotion. To compete at this level takes devotion in itself. BUt to stick it out thru thick and thin in this era of FA is a true athlete. I believe JP posseses this to so let Willis go sow his arrogant oates in another city. Later Abbott
  2. I am glad to see that all this hype about McGahee getting out of Buffalo for better money is coming to a halt!!! Ralph and Marv would be crazy to even think about letting him go at this point. Make him run his last year!!! He needs to earn what he thinks he is worth. He has a hot shot successful agent in Rosenhaus and if he was representing Willis appropriately he'd tell him to run until he could run no more and play the market next. If I were Willis acknowledging the additions to the O line I'd be psyched. Sometimes greed and an ego leave little room for common sense
  3. Ya, remember? McGahee predicted he was gonna be the back in the league last year
  4. Working nights are great. Sunday Off. Drink up!!!!!!!!!
  5. Oh, I have watched plenty of football partner. I was being condescending there haus. Of course it makes sense to utilize players and their special talents. I'm a total proponent. In addition this past year we saw more trick plays, and the old pitch pass how many times? Its totally refreshing. I watched more ball this year than I have in years. Lastly, I would love to see old Jimbo back in action if he was physically able!
  6. Those fumes are the stench of money from the Falls that the city won't see a dime from. Hey while were at it why don't we make Sam Adams an eligible receiver??? Or hey, bring Jim Kelly on as QB coach and then at half time we send him out on the field in uniform to win back all of our glory!!!!!
  7. Willis shouldnt be renegotiating anything. He's lucky he's getting what he is. Nothing special about him as a running back as far as im concerned. If I were the Bills I would be investing as much cash and time as I can afford into the lines on both sides of the ball. Dante, you couldn't have said it better! Although I like Willis, I am not confident that he can change the tempo of a game like Shaun Alexander, Thurman, Barry, And Emmitt. He doesn't deserve to have the upper hand in a contract negotiation. Ralph should be saying "Hey Willis, where is this spectacular running back we drafted?" Don't get me wrong, he is talented and I think could be a great back if there was a hole to hit, but pride is one of the seven deadly sins and it will sink McGahee's ship if plays his hand like T.O. I am a union president and truly understand the games and tactics that can be used to obtain your goals. But Willis, I feel, is not on that plateau. Rosenhaus will ruin him too. Just my opinion. 8. I agree! With the tempo of today's NFL I think predictions, especially about the Bills are like a bad omen. Hey, the Colts were unstoppable remember. I can only hope for the best. Lets pray J.P. builds on the little confidence ole Milaurkey allowed him to build this past year. And Dear God let Takeo come back close to 100%. I can't suppress the feeling that we are like a sandlot team picking the fat kid just to have enough players in regards to this AIDS quilt of a coaching staff. SAY YOUR PRAYERS ALL! Buffalo is due for a miracle Later. Abbott
