  1. Best part about that call....Turk KNOWS his O-line can't run block....that call was perfect. Now tell me why we didn't kick it deep there? Run some clock!
  2. We NEED 7 AND the ball back before the end of the half!
  3. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Good lord this is exactly what every team in the league will see and emulate...the blueprint on how to beat the Bills.....
  4. Smack Warner HARD every time he drops back!
  5. Warner and JP could light up the stats today.
  6. Bills new game plan....Lee go deep, Josh go somewhere in the middle, Hardy go get open somewhere....everyone else BLOCK!!!
  7. O-line STILL don't know how to run block. McKelvin does NOT look too special as a returner either. Good thing JP and Lee can still hook-up!
  8. Um....let this game serve as a testament to all the WAY overly optimistic peeps out there. The REALISTS said that this game would be difficult to win at best (me one of them, I had them losing by 13). The only way this team has a shot is to make there second half adjustments NOW. No waiting for another 14 minutes o bleeding. We need to control the clock and eat some yards culminating in 7 or else everyone would be better off going and cleaning the garage, mowing the lawn or doing something with the kids. Sorry guys and gals, I KNOW my team very, VERY well.
  9. No, I cant fully agree with you on this one. The D-line is playing better than the O-line, but they're not dominant...they had one dominant game against Seattle, that was it. They're playing solid and above avg, but again not dominant.
  10. I was in that same lot udonkey; you must have been at the northewest side of the lot, while I was at the northeast side...I think we were both around the 3rd row in if I'm not mistaken. Got to meet George Wilsons uncle and some of Freddie Jackson's family. Lots of Bills fans out there representing before, during and AFTER the game. Had a great time although we were almost part of a scuffle that broke out in the second half with some Rams fans. In the end it was lots of fun and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! We're 4-0, and have a tough road game next week in AZ....let's hope Warner doesn't throw for amlost 500 yds like he did against the Jest <---yes, spelled correctly! McD
  11. This topic and the thought process behind it is retarded.
  12. Here's my take....we're 4-0 but we are not a strong 4-0. I hate to admit it, but it is true. Those guys have a valid point....no need to slam us, but they're not pff their rockers either. Good points made about the Chargers beating the Raiders and KC knocking off Denver, but I'm really concerned about the Bills line play here. We're not dominating ANYONE on either side of the line and that concerns me a TON. We need 150 yds rushing a game and need to allow under 100 yds rushing on D. We will fall back to the pack without getting stronger up front. I thionk we'll get better, but so will other teams so we need to get THAT MUCH better. I've been wishing for some additional line help for 5 years now and what we have is good but not great...we NEED great! Time to upgrade the O-line (Fowler) and add some more beef on the D-line as well. As far as play calling on O...we need to start throwing more to Lynch out of the backfield...little screens and circle passes to keep the defenses honest to give Trent more time to hit the deep/intermediate routes, or the screens if need be...Thurman Thomas/Kenny Davis anyone? Just my take...
  13. Exactly...the Bills just need to keep their composure and just be ready for ANYTHING! If they get to a point where they get their foot on the Rams' necks they need to keep it on there...hard!
  14. King makes a very good point...The Rams have an opportunity to win a game against an unbeaten team at HOME and renew the fans trust and confidence in the teams desire/commitment to win. I'd be vary wary of the Rams pulling out all the stops in this game...going for it on 4th down, fake punts or FG's...anything and everything. Just sayin'
  15. Yes he did! Here's my latest correspondence with him From him: Tim- of course. no need to thank me for responding...im a fan like you. it has already been changed (may take some time to go through the system). my goal in writing toronto was for people outside of buffalo to read 'toronto' and wonder why i was calling them that--this has gone unnoticed across the country for the most part. instead i upset the people i was trying to help. never my intention. thanks for sending along that column. I'm with you...nfl and canada dont really mix, and toronto and the bills definitely dont From me: Much appreciated with the change...we Bills fans are easy to get along with, but also a bit easily provoked, esp with THAT button. Maybe when you have a few minutes you can jot down a few words for a future article depicting the rabid Bills fans who came to the rescue of their team and their city...we could use the good press As far as the intention...you may have violated one of the founding principles of communication...Know your audience! Thanks again, I hope you saw my point with the Chargers and the Titans too...it's still early for power rankings but they're fun to discuss. Regards, Tim
  16. After rereading his post (below) I think he's spot on in his assessment
  17. Damn, come to think of it....it's my first game in a long time as well. I think the last reg seson game I attended was in '98 in Charlotte when we KILLED the panthers on Sunday night football. Flutie and Moulds had a great game, yes it was THAT long ago lol! McD
  18. I agree, but there's a chance that once we open that door it will get kicked in and never closed. I would love to "tap in" to the T.O market, I just don't want the other NFL owners (who'd want the Bills permanently in T.O ) to see T.O as a cash cow for their own personal gain. WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CARE ABOUT THE BILLS STAYING IN BUFFALO!
