  1. for the most part, walking hypocrisy and with specific regard to the French media, here's what that Charlie Hebdo posted after Russian plane was brought down one showing falling debris from the plane with the caption Daesh [islamic State group]: Russia aviation intensifies its bombardments The second cartoon features a skull wearing a broken pair of sunglasses, with a speech bubble saying: I should have taken Air Cocaine, a reference to the scandal involving two French pilots who allegedly smuggled suitcases filled with cocaine out of the Dominican Republic. http://yalibnan.com/2015/11/08/kremlin-slams-charlie-hebdo-cartoons-on-russian-plane-crash/
  2. only 2 games out of 1st in loss column
  3. With giants choke job agaisnt patriots, remarkably that division is still witnlhin dallas' reach. I think this is why they bring romo back
  4. I'm still pissed beyond words giants blew that game. First Beckham then Collins. Cromartrie was pissed too because he said he was going to grab the Brady pass then Collins cut him off and dropped it
  5. Ah yes, the Jones fracture. What Dez had. What I had. 6 weeks is pretty standard, with the screw he won't feel any pain after. The recovery time frame for this injury is also very predictable ....almost always 6 weeks on the button
  6. Unfortunately after next week we're going to need that little &@* to get healthy for when they play against our WC competition
  7. The "them" he's harming are civilians of an already besieged city. He's doing nothing to address the source of western imperialism.
  8. If we have any kind of pass rush that team is very beatable. Our secondary won't make the same mistake of dropping a gift wrapped game ending pick
  9. Nice work, so now that twit hollande makes himself feel better after helping to unleash forces that got his civilians killed, by destroying the limited infrastructure of the people trying to hang on under siege of those same forces he helped unleash.
  10. So was rousey inconsolable and balling in the locker room?
  11. hard to watch, i cant watch women fighting women ... if it were jealous wrestling, then im all over it
  12. It is, but not how you're thinking. In modern times it was phrase coined by Jean Kirkpatrick when she didn't want the US to be held accountable for its own atrocites at the UN. Since then its been used as a convenient way to deflect self criticism
  13. I don't blame it on entirely on the west, but I'm not in denial on our complicity either. What would say if a foreign country degraded the power structure in America and allowed vigilante groups to run wild? Is it purely on the vigilantes?
  14. Trump had a point .... Paris Attacks: Syrian Migrant Was Among the Bombers Attacker in Paris assaults that killed 129 had entered Europe last month http://www.wsj.com/articles/paris-attacks-syrian-migrant-was-among-the-bombers-1447547354
  15. Whats incredible is that interventions by the west and her "allies" have resulted in more than a half million civilian deaths in the middle East in this millennium alone and we have some trying to claim some of kind of "modern civilized" superiority. I think the only thing we can clearly claim superiority on is weapons. Everything else is debatable.
  16. Here too, been going on for years
  17. I've made the distinction all along between govt policy and innocent civilians paying the price in blowback. It's not an argument you want to respond to because you have no interest in those policies changing.
  18. This kind of thing sadly goes on every day in the middle East and north africa. Why should I feel any more sorry for the people of france than I do for Yemenis civilians slaughter by French weapons sold to Saudis, the quarter million Syrian civilians slaughtered in a civil war that france helped instigate for a political motive against assad, the carnage in lybia due to French taking the lead in ousting Ghadafi. Truth is I feel bad for civilians across the world who end up the innocent victims of wreckless government policy. I just don't know why French should receive greater sympathy than middle easterner or north africans, far more of whom have perished. With specific regard to ISIS in Syria, there was an effective force fighting them ... the Syrian army ... France helped degrade it. they also knew for years muslim youths were leaving france to join anti-assad forces, doesn't take a genius to figure out many would join isis. and they did nothing
  19. Does it matter ?
  20. you might look the same if you just found out that Bruce Gradkowski is going to be your QB again
  21. lets hope Giants knock them off (again). Giants dont have much defense, but they can put up points with the best of them, which at least gives them a chance. Throw in a couple sacks from a fired up JPP, and maybe they pull off the upset. Then a win by Bills next week, low and behold, keeps the division within reach
  22. he's absolutely insane. but his delivery is soft-spoken, so i guess that makes it desirable Ben Carson: My sources 'better' than White House on SyriaWashington (CNN)GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson said Friday that he has better sources than the White House about the situation in Syria, sticking by his claim that China is involved in the fighting there. http://edition.cnn.com/2015/11/13/politics/ben-carson-obama-china-syria/
  23. Instead of pretending to be concerned about the safety of French citizens (who are innocent), why don't the politicians focus on their own irresponsible actions that both motivate and enable terrorists? in one word to make it as simple as possible: blowback
