  1. Who cares about marginal players when the core like Brady, light and wilfork are getting older and slower. I used to be a big fan of Brady's capabilities but Im starting to see signs he's losing his touch. Even he apologized for his performance in the afc champ game and was nothing special in the super bowl. Brady losing some arm strength and accuracy is a big problem because of how immobile he is. Id be willing to bet a tidy sum this years super bowl was his last.
  2. that Hatebreed song would be good for pregame warm up!
  3. Let's face it, landing Mario and Tebow in the offseason would make Bills the hottest topic until the season starts. Eclipsing Colts, Redakins and Broncos. Not saying it would carry onto the field, but would be fun while it lasted.
  4. I would like to see someone push Fitz though, Thigpen's obviously not the guy. And tebow used properly will definitely help red zone efficiency on offense, something we always seem to struggle with. His passing looked very sharp in the win over Pittsburgh, there's at least potential to develop into a quality passer. Offer one of our 4ths and see what happens. Can't base our personell moves on guys like smith and thigpen.
  5. Solid track. Reminds me of Kiss "Lick it Up"
  6. Generates fan interest and fills the seats, something they're desperate for
  7. Henne and Gabbert are expendable. Could also go to Miami
  8. Opens the door for trading him to jags
  9. Espn just announced its Denver. Where does tebow go? Should also mean Smith back to 9ers and Dolphins have Moore as starter
  10. Manning to 9ers = Alex smith to fins
  11. I think the only game he saw was against Skins in Toronto, but the rest of his analysis is good
  12. Wow that guy did his homework. Nice find!
  13. Gotta see what happens this season. Back to 4-3 and with a better pass rush Byrd may put up big time pro bowl numbers again. Byrd also elevated his physical game and tackling abilities since rookie season. Hard to let a guy like that go when capable guards are common in free agency and the draft.
  14. Manning to 9ers could quickly be followed by Smith to Dolphins.
  15. When I need a pick me up this is the one does it for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EefWLVhssQc&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  16. Steve young makes a good case why it will be 9ers. "They know that they are the best answer for Peyton Manning. They know they have the best defense in the league to offer. They know they have the offensive weapons. They know they have Jim Harbaugh. They know all the pieces in place for Peyton Manning. It is the best opportunity for Peyton Manning. They knew it, and they waited for the wannabes to exhaust themselves, and then they came in right at the end, and that's why I think they'll probably land him at this point."
  17. Isn't that the martial arts position the karate kid used?
  18. They're having a dreadful off season and look very bad as an organization. They really weren't that far off but now after unexpectedly losing their top play maker on offense, making a half assed attempt at manning and letting Flynn get away, they're officially in rebuild mode. Lol and where is that team going with Alex smith?
  19. From what I saw last season we should release thigpen anyway. If his contract isn't guaranteed ship him the heck out.
  20. 2 of last 3 and 4 of last 6 super bowls have been won by teams with 4-3 defenses. The only true 3-4 winner was steelers, because packers showed a lot of other looks out of their base 3-4. It's an even split over the last 10 super bowls with 5 wins each (bucs, colts, giants 2x and saints), 3 - 4 (2 apiece steelers and pats, pack 1) When you look at really matters, rings and how does the D hold up in post season, the notion of 3 - 4 superiority is quickly dismissed.
  21. I barfed when the incoming Gailey said we'd be switching to 3-4. I knew we didn't have the personell and I knew it wasnt the miracle cure he thought it was. The staff wasted 2 years, a lot of draft picks and free agent moves figuring that out too. Just kind of po'd a novice like me could see so clearly what all the "experts" we hired couldn't.
  22. I think I'm the only one in the world that doesnt want to see more front 7 drafted high. We need more offense too, requiring an upgrade to the WR corp and Oline. On defense what really need is to bolster our cover guys because McGee and Mckelvin just aren't getting it done. I'd go BPA in rounds 1 - 3 restricted to the positions of OT, WR and CB.
