  1. I don't know if he should be cut, but that was honestly the single worst quarter of football I've ever seen anyone play. Consider: 1. Giving up over 100 yards receiving in 1 quarter! 2. Giving up a touchdown catch 3. Giving up a pass interference in the end zone, essentially giving the Vikings another touchdown. 4. Fumbling a kickoff directly after giving up a touchdown. 5. Returning the kickoffs he didn't fumble for a grand total of about 10 yards. After that disgraceful performance, he was then on the sidelines smiling. Maybe for that he should be cut. He honestly played as if he was on drugs today, and not the performance enhancing kind either.
  2. The point isn't that all of the Bills woes can be attributed to Evans. The point, as I understood it, is that he is not producing at a level that is even remotely close to his obscene salary. That is evidenced by his mediocre statistics, and the cowardly way he plays football. Even last weeks analyst, who would probably be oblivious to the press box being set on fire, mentioned on two separate occasions that Evans appeared scared to go after the football.
  3. Right... because it was 'everyone' that damaged Mckelvins lawn.
  4. The kid gets open more consistently than any Bills receiver since Moulds in his prime and Andre Reed. There are going to be many more important catches in his future.
  5. He dropped a football because he is immature?? He has fun playing the game. He seems to feed off his own enthusiasm. The last thing we need is for him to become like Lee Evans, who epitomizes the culture of losing that has pervaded the Bills for 10 years.
  6. Johnson's performance was as close to tragic as you can get in a football game. That being said, he has had an excellent season. Even today, he still demonstrated the same skill-set that has made him one of the more exciting players in the league–minus dropping all those footballs. Evans, on the other hand, was exposed as being a gutless coward that is afraid to take a hit. To me, he is the true goat today as he was one of the few players that did not play with heart.
  7. There is a classy and informative way to make the point that subsequent to 12-31-10, there will be additional estate taxes passed on to the future owner of the Bills. This wasn't it.
  8. I don't think his holdout has anything to do with the fact he's a poor football player. That being said, the Bills have a lot of guaranteed money invested in him. I think he will get numerous more chances to demonstrate progress before they take the step of cutting him.
  9. Fair enough. But I'm not sure how supposed 'billionaires' are going to be called upon to entrust the innovator of the Bills bond concept with their wealth. The bonds will be secured, and I'm sure a legitimate financial institution would be involved in the transaction of funds. I don't think this guy is planning on storing the proceeds of the bonds in his basement.
  10. He's young... therefore he has no credibility and his ideas shouldn't be considered. It's clear you've gained much wisdom from your years on this earth.
  11. Reading your backwards-thinking drivel may shed some light on why some prefer the company of loyal and loving dogs than their 'fellow' man.
  12. Let me guess... you're one of those extra insightful football guys who can see all the wonderful things lil Dante does that don't show up on the stat sheet. Like the way he tweets.
  13. You are definitely one of the top 10 smartest men named 'Q-Dawg' I have ever met.
  14. He leads the team in tackles because the Bills lead the league in allowing running backs to get to the third level without being touched, and the backs pretty much run right into our strong safety about 6-8 times a game. He played well last week and ok today. He doesn't have an interception, forced fumble, sack, or any other big play for that matter. Tight ends were scoring a touchdown a game against him for the first half of the season. But hey, he made a nice hit on a receiver today and batted a ball down last week. I guess that constitutes a good season around here.
  15. Chan Gailey should be fired for even THinking about George Edwards as a defensive coordinator.
  16. It's funny CJ should say that, as he is the one who has been running a little namby-pamby ish all year
  17. You're name calling and personal attacks make for very compelling arguments. And by saying my arguments are wrong, you have clearly established that they are in fact wrong. I have to remember trying those tactics next time in court. "Judge, Of course he is guilty because everything he says doesn't make sense!! And of course he is lying because he is a liar!!! And look at him... he looks guilty!! And he's clueless and stupid!! And Ugly!!
  18. Anyone who can do those atrocities to innocent animals is sub-human. It's sickening to hear all the commentators talk about the fact that he has changed. He's done nothing to demonstrate that he has changed as a person. He has NOT followed through with the Humane Society as a volunteer and a speaker. The one time he attempted it, he put his foot in his mouth by telling children about all the difficulties that HE'S gone through. He got caught up in another shooting last summer in which his co-conspirator from Bad Newz Kennelz was shot. Yet commentators take the fact that he's learned how to play quarterback and somehow use that as proof that he has improved himself as a human being. And the brain dead masses accept it as true. Just ask this audience as to whether it's fair that he is now flourishing.
  19. Let me try and explain this to you, though I feel is may be the equivalent of teaching calculus to a monkey. A principle is defined as a basic law, truth, or assumption. Principle's are universally applicable. Therefore, stealing 1,000,000 dollars from a bank or stealing a Bills ticket from your roomate would fall under the same basic principle; that taking something that is not yours without paying for it is wrong. So, my point in invoking Hitler's name was NOT that the two are comparable in terms of their misdeeds or that they are similar in stature or importance. Rather, the principle-the same word I used in the post that you are not mentally capable of understanding- is that I value what is fundamentally right over my allegiance to a football team. So, I would not want my football team to sign a horrible person who has committed crimes... even if it would improve the performance level of the the Bills. Meaning, whether it is Michael Vick, Leonard Little, Ben Roethliserger, Jeffrey Dahmer, or ANYONE whom I felt was of extremely low moral turpitude, I would not want them on my football team. And yes, that would include Hitler.
  20. Agreed. In fact, that hire makes me question more than anything whether Gailey is in over his head as a head coach. I like Gailey's offensive mind. But, for him to thrive, it is necessary that he hire a smart-minded big time defensive coordinator, similar to the Chiefs hiring Crennel.
  21. Wrong. The point is, I am a human being first and a Bills fan second. Of course I want the Bills to improve at the QB position, but not by any means possible. Having a deplorable monster quarterbacking the Bills, even if he could do so effectively, is not something I desire. At some point, you have to realize what you are cheering for, and I could never cheer for Vick, even if he led us to a Superbowl. If Hitler was a great quarterback, would you want him on the Bills? I'm not comparing Hitler to Vick, but the principal is the same. You're use of the word dumb certainly makes you sound like a highly intelligent person.
  22. The post was fine the way it was. I'm so sick of all these cliches that braindead commentators and fans use to justify their love affair with Vick. "He's served his time." "Everyone deserves a second chance." "He's paid his debt." That's crap. Vick electrocuted puppies. He stole household beagles from his neighborhood, using them as bait dogs and duct-taping their jaws together while putting them in a ring against pit bulls. He drowned dogs whose only sin was being too friendly to fight. Anyone who could perform these heinous acts doesn't have a decent bone in his body. He possesses an innate evil that cannot be cured by incarceration. There is no rehabilitating wicked. Vick is human garbage. May he burn in hell.
  23. I do believe Vick has certainly made an unbelievable transformation... he is now a great quarterback. He is still a worthless human being. I wouldn't even trade Chris Kelsey for him, tempting as that may be.
  24. So if this is the case, does that mean teams will not be negotiating with rookies until the lockout is resolved? Because I don't see Ralph Wilson, or any owner, signing a top pick to a lucrative deal paying him 12 million for the upcoming season but not knowing if there will be any football that year. With all that uncertainty, there is a strong incentive for juniors and sophomores to stay in school for another year. Why come out if you don't know when that first paycheck will arrive?
  25. I think Poz's contract is up at the end of this year. While Poz may never be a pro bowler, he is a legitimate NFL starter that could do everything well, but nothing great. He can cover, move in space, blitz, tackle, etc. How the Bills could extend Kelsey and not renegotiate with Poz at this point is mind boggling. I think even Poz's most serious detractors would admit he is worlds better than Kelsey.
