  1. Statement from Takeo Spikes regarding Mularkey firing: "It's mind boggling," Bills linebacker Takeo Spikes said on ESPN Radio. "I don't really understand what's goin' on but I thought he did some things well and there were a lot of things a lot of the guys didn't agree with. I don't think that he was a bad coach. "When you come into the city of Buffalo people expect you to win not later, not two or three years from now, people want you to win now. So it's a lot of pressure. … Basically, since the Bills had their Super Bowl run, Bills fans have expected the Bills to get back into the playoffs and win the Super Bowl. Well, the Bills are one of two teams beside Houston that have not been in the playoffs in the past 5 years. Besides that, it has now been 12 years since the Super Bowl run and the Bills are 5-11. - People have to quit listening to Bills talk radio believing this team is talented!!! They finished 26 in offense and 30th in defense last year. Doesn't get much worse than that! They have no offensive line, no defensive line that can generate a pass rush, cannot stop the run, Losman is unproven, McGahee runs straight ahead into a crowd of linemen, have 35-year olds playing safety, and have no depth. Their draft, thanks to Donohoe, have produced no talented players beside McGee, Schobel, and a few others. But compare that to other teams like the Patriots. The Patriots have a better draft than the Bills every season it seems and still win Super Bowls. They have drafted Wolfork, Ben Watson, Good Offensive Linemen, etc. The Bills are starting over and i wish Bills fans would get their heads out of the sand and face reality.
  2. That would be one way to get back at T.O. - Probably would quit football and start lifting weights in his yard full-time.......None of these players want to play in Buffalo......They want to be in Atlanta.
  3. 7 million tied up in milloy and vincent that are past their primes. What mid-30's now???? Where is the youth. Patriots have proved that if you have good defensive line and linebackers, you can play 12 different starters in the secondary and be successful. The bills have no pass rush and losing pat williams hurt the run defense. This defense finished 29th in the league, so how can you say Takeo Spikes would make up that much of a difference?
  4. I live in the Raleigh area and have watched MArio Williams for 3 years now and he is the real deal. AJ Hawk is a stud, but Bills don't need LB. Mario Williams is 6'5", weighs 285, and runs a 4.6 40.........He is a freak and a Julius Peppers clone. Bills pass rush problems would be solved. Of course, Ngato from Oregon takes up 2-3 blockers and could turn out to be great player as well. Players like MArio Williams come around once every 10 years.
  5. Agreed......We should all be celebrating that Donohoe is gone. Now if Marv can Bill Polian to come back, we just might turn this thing around.
  6. Too young for Wal-Mart greeter. Tom Donohoe as one of the most respected GM's in NFL. What about Bill Polian. Donohoe was known for arguing with Bill Cowher over his draft choices, he ends up leaving and the STeelers are in the playoffs. How can anyone say Donohoe is respected with a 31-47 record over his 5 years as GM. Bills and Houston were the only teams not to make the playoffs over last 5 years as well.
  7. If you think today's Bills had as much talent as the team in the 90's, then you better go pack another one in your bong and take a long hit. This years Bills team finished 26th in offense and 29th in defense. They lost to the SAints and RAiders for God's sake. Look at the Hall of Famers you had on the Bills team in the 1990's. Heck, the Bills backups back then could probably start for the Bills team of 2005. They have no offensive line!!!! They have no pass rush!!!! They have a harder time getting the ball past the 50-yard line than most teams have putting it into the end zone. Your team is pretty bad when your best player is the punter and kick-returner. You need to drive out of your little Buffalo World and quit listening to 550 on the radio, and get realistic!!!!
  8. Until JP gets some offensive linemen in front of him that can block, we will never tell how good he is or how much potential he might have. He had more yards rusing backwards than forwards. You win in the trenches and need a good offensive line and defensive line.
  9. Donohoe will go down as one of the worst G.M.'s the Bills ever hired. He had one good draft while in Pittsburgh, was known for his battles with Bill Cowher, and showed his arrogance and lack of judgment while with the Bills for 5 years. Ralph probably tosses in his sleep having visions of Bill Polian and A.J. Smith, two of the best in the NFL that he let go. How could a G.M. never address the offensive line needs and when he did, he drafted an over-weight bust like Mike "another slice of pizza please" Williams. What has become of Ben Sobieski, Gresinger, and the rest of the sub par linemen. How stupid to think that you can draft Losman and McGahee, when their is nobody to pass block or open up holes for your RB. Watching McGahee run with the football was like trying to watch Chris Farley squeeze through a manhole. Donohoe drafted Milloy and vincent, both players with credentials but past their prime. He continued to draft defensive ends that could not rush the passer, including Denney, Kelsey, etc. I hope that Donohoe does not ever land another GM job or scouting job for that matter, but instead is stocking cans in a grocery store. In five years, the Bills and Oilers are the only teams not to go to the playoffs. Donohoe turned the Bills into an expansion team. Now Ralph has hired 80-year old Marv Levy. What's next? Bring Jim Kelly and Thurman out of retirement.
