  1. You really cant be that !@#$ing stupid to use "Stringing UP" and Doug Whaley in 2017 on an Internet post?
  2. Not your biggest fan but you may think about editing your post
  3. You may be right and probably are. I am just thinking he already has enough for his lifetime if managed well. I am thinking his ego may kick in and he may see his Risk/Reward is worth it.
  4. You may very well be right however my thinking is the amount of money left on the table this year will be well worth the risk if he has a big year and then becomes a free agent.
  5. I don't hate Whaley the person. i think he is abysmal at his job and stated why in my post and after how he acted at the Rex firing he is a !@#$ing liar. You blame Rex for the draft but isnt it the GM who is responsible for drafting players that fit the scheme of the current coach? Would be nice if he didnt spend a first in an already injured player though.
  6. I think he is open to more money this year without the multi year guarantees. He has a big year and he is gone cause he certainly wont stay after how he has been treated. if he has a bad year we arent locked in.
  7. And guarantee 2 years at 20 million per to do so... But hey he brought his team to the playoffs 3 seasons ago after they missed 4 years in a row while he was also the QB.
  8. ^+1 Doug is bulletproof and never drafted a player way ahead of where he should be or traded way to much to move up or gave a contact that unecessairly overpaid someone or gave a contract that actually paid someone while they were suspended. If this happened it was someone else who was responsible for it and he had no knowledge of it.
  9. Trying to be light with you snowflake sorry I thought you were smart enough to get the reference. My mistake as I should have known. I will never make that mistake again. Continue as you were trying to project what happened 3 years ago as if it is relevent clownshoes it is so you.
  10. Or the 51 years we have been waiting for a USC QB to play a down in a Super Bowl.
  11. Been so !@#$ing long I forgot. Did he?
  12. During the Miami game I thought I noticed that Tyrod was taking Deeper Drops and maybe that was the ticket to being able to view the field better.
  13. If they get rid of Taylor it is clearly a move to secure their paychecks for 2 more years.. They release Taylor and bring in a new guy or a Romo type and they buy themselves 2 years. You have several in the front office IMO that are making all their decisions based upon how long it will keep them employed.
  14. Why can't you pick up a QB in the first 3 rounds for at least 2 years?
  15. Do you think Bills could trade their first pick this year and 2nd next year for Browns 2nd this year and 1st next year take this guy at 2 and hope the Browns suck next year.
  16. You then are talking about basically WORST in League tank and do you think that happens given a team having the talent we have. You are talking about a 2-14 team and we may have surpassed that by time a Romo gets injured . So the whole tank thing is also a big IF.
  17. Dude.... Have you ever seen a late 30's QB lose it suddenly? Coming off 2 years of MAJOR INJURIES one would be a complete fool to say it CAN'T happen. As Far as tanking It worked for the Colts so it is a guarantee it works for us... **** by that logic Cardale Jones will be a Hall of Fame QB because he lost his job in college and so did Brady. Stop it already.
  18. WTF are you talking about if's because they are opposites. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.. 1. If he is healthy 2. If he returns to form 3. If he gets hurt and then decides to retire 4. If he gets hurt and we are in position to Draft Darnald 5.Then there is this but of course this time is different (Note no USC QB has played a single down in the Super Bowl) http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2014/11/26/7292979/usc-quarterbacks-nfl-mark-sanchez-carson-palmer-matt-leinart
  19. He'll want guarantees thus a team giving him 2 years based upon where he is in his career and what he has shown is Grossly overpaying. You have any examples of a 36+ year old player missing better part of 2 seasons reverting to Pro Bowl form? Seems like there are SO MANY IF's in your scenario (Healthy, Returns to Form, Retires if hurt)... Don't see how anyone but a desperate GM makes this move. Look at where we are now. A good defense and kicker and we get to the playoffs. And that good defense may simply be a scheme change.
  20. Even at your 20 million I define overpaying as guaranteeing the contract for the second year. This is WAY too much to pay for a guy who hasn't played in 2 years. How can you make that guarantee in the desperate hope that he returns to 2014 when everything points to his body having deserted him. IMO there is a better chance of Tyrod returning to 2015 form with a healthy upgraded receiver corp than Romo reverting to 2014 form and starting 16 games. I would bet the under 10 starts on him next year with both hands if it were offered. You have any examples of a 36+ year old player missing better part of 2 seasons reverting to Pro Bowl form?
  21. Budy... Thanks for piping in but I'm not saying anything about TT in Houston.
  22. What part of my post stating when I said he comes to the team if they offer crazy dollars didn't you understand? I personally think it has to be much more for him to come to Buffalo than a team with an in place strong defense only missing a QB. But Whaley is certainly capable of blowing up the next decade in a desperate grasp to save his job for the next 2-3 years. Do I think it is a good idea to get a guy that has shown he is at the point where he is breaking down, absolutely not. I can't think of a guy once he starts the cycle of missing big portions of 2 consecutive seasons just gets healthy again. If you can think of such a 36+ year old let me know and PS it isn't Peyton Manning because he played 16 games prior to missing an entire season.
