  1. Chinese, Mexican, and Indian Food, all good. I have never really been to Jewish resturaunt, but my Uncle makes a mean rack of lamb.
  2. I got a good laugh out of this: Telemarketer counterscript
  3. That's the trade-off for having the extra forward on the point. Interesting point.
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody picks him up, but the Sabres don't need him, for the very reasons you say. Somebody may need a space eater, but that would be a step back for Buffalo with an already effective special teams and great team speed.
  5. The mystery is why they gave him so much ice time or waited this long to pull the trigger, he was still getting about 17 shifts a game this season. edit: well really no mystery, he is still a great faceoff guy, but once you win the draw you still have the problem of having him on the ice.
  6. I got a great laugh out of it. It just sums up so much....kind of like McGee getting tripped up at the 4 yrd line against New Orleans.
  7. Amen. Andy had a damn good run. Remeber the Peach Fuzz rookie line? I think it was Paul Cyr, Andreychuck, and I can't remember the other....
  8. Your mission if you should accept is to bring her to a Buffalo Bills tailgate next year. Git er done Nick!!!!!
  9. starting next week the hardest part of the schedule starts. If they can play .500 hockey that would be great. It is a killer from Jan 16 to the olympic break. As for scoring, I would still like to see Connolly shoot more in 5 on 5's and I think Vanek will have a better second half than first half. Sabres have run into some good goaltending recently, what is more a concern is playing like the first 40 minutes against NJ and thinking they can win.
  10. Philistine!!! Tim Horton's if I have to....
  11. how do you make it? I am thinking of getting rid of the drip maker. Maybe a press?
  12. No wine? ( I am still looking for Eagle's Rare, pretty hard to find) I get some Fair Trade stuff from Peru. It is good, but strong. Half the time I am drinking McCullogh coffee at work, which I generally find to be bad but I keep drinking it.
  13. Thomas Aquinas as biblical editor is unlikely. St. Jerome's latin vulgate was well established by the 13th century and every theological student would have had to comment on every sentence of the bible (aquinas included) during their cursory at University. Perhaps you are thinking of Augustine of Hippo who was influencial at the Council of Rome in 382 when the modern canon was established.
  14. Mickey is technically correct. The Orthodox churches of the east have always maintained that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father, where the creeds of the Western Churches usually maintain that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and Son. (double procession). Nothing like a good Filioque controversy to liven up a debate.
  15. That is funny!!
  16. Good one. That makes sense, a self inflicted for me.
  17. Good Point. He is looking like he is in pretty good form now. BTW, does Lindy have Gaustad playing on two lines, it seems like he his getting a huge amount of ice time. Checked the shift chart, looks like he was filling in for Drury third period.
  18. Are you defending Delay? I thought all politicians sucked. Is there an equality of suckiness, or is the truth that some suck more than other?
  19. Have a looky at the old medieval Rectal, Vaginal and Oral Pear.... http://www.corkscrew-balloon.com/misc/torture/29.html
  20. I would love to see DiPeitro step in front of a truck so Ryan can get on the Olympic team. Any NYC truck drivers?
  21. That's just sick.
  22. Damn he is good. Or at least good vs. the Sabres.
  23. This is disputable. Conquest expanded the boundries, but the conversion was more likely through the believers tax loop-hole than by force. The conversion tax loophole was quite a powerful instrument. Jews and Christians were taxed were Muslims were not. It created quite an incentive to convert, and proof that most people were willing to believe with their pocketbooks.
