  1. I accept. The league gave extra picks to the Eagles at no cost to the Packers. That only strengthens my argument that RW didn't do enough to get us over the hump when we were oh so close.
  2. Go look up some facts like GB signed White as an unrestricted fa with a salary cap in place and surrendered NO draft picks. http://olympia.fortunecity.com/white/225/1regprofile.htm The Philadelphia Eagles received a first-round pick in both the 1993 & 1994 NFL Drafts as compensation.) Go look up some facts like GB signed White as an unrestricted fa with a salary cap in place http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/question644.htm In 1994, the owners' and players' associations of the National Football League approved a new collective-bargaining agreement. This agreement included a salary cap designed to keep player salaries from increasing at the rate they were at the time. The salary cap is essentially a set amount of money that each of the NFL's 31 teams is allowed to spend on player salaries for any given year. For the upcoming 2001 season, that amount is approximately $67.4-million, or 63% of the League's defined gross revenues (DGR) from last year divided by the 31 NFL teams. You may continue with your apology. BTW. How does crow taste?
  3. Can we miss the playoffs without them?
  4. This downward spiral of the Buffalo Bills started during the Super Bowl years when Ralphie boy, for no apparent reason, fired GM Bill Polian during a never before seen SB run. How can you get rid of a guy with an obvious talent in finding skilled players? That was a huge mistake the Bills have yet to recover from. But wait, there's more. The Bills defense was one man short of taking the Super Bowl back in the early 90's and that man was Reggie White. Could you imagine both Bruce AND Reggie on the field at the same time? Whoi do you double? The Bills should've thrown a boat load of cash to #92 to lure him to Buffalo in '93. He only cost Green Bay two first round picks. The Bills still made the SB the first year White played for GB. Ralph was being cheap. There was no salary cap that season so the Bills could've signed him, although the cap was on the horizan a year or two later, but that doesn't matter. The Bills were built to win that year and time was running out. We should've at least attempted to sign the guy. But wait, there's more. The next best GM, John Butler, was also let go. Now I know we got into a little bit of salary cap trouble with Butler at the helm, but he was still the best man for the job. I'm not quite clear exactly why Butler was let go, but I sure know whatever reason there was wasn't good enough to let Butler walk. But wait, there's more. Ralph then went on to hire TD. To his credit, we all thought TD was the right man for the job at the time. Where RW went wrong on this one was he gave TD more power than any other GM in Bills' history. He should've given that kind've power to one of the last two GM's who have proven themselves with the Bills. Neither one of them would've left if they were both GM and Pres. of the Bills. It it obvious that RW is plain and simply cheap. Just take a look at how much money our last two HC's get per season. On average it's between 1 and 1.5 million dollars per season. That is K-Mart shopping for you. I know spending doesn't guarantee a championship but not spending assures you of not winning. I don't know the exact figures but Belichek, Billick, Vermeil and Gruden, the last few SB winning coaches, all make more loot than our guys. You pay for what you get. We need a new owner. The best case scenario is the city of Buffalo itself buys the Bills from Ralph. But we all know that isn't possible due to the bad economy in Buffalo. The second best scenario is someone, I don't know whom, with deep deep pockets and a desire to win, buys the team from Ebenezer Wilson and promises to keep the team in Buffalo. Until then the Bills will continue to suck.
  5. TD is hired. TD strips the organazation clean bringing in new coaches and clearing salary cap space. The Bills draft Clements, Schobel and Henry. Giving hope to all Billls fans. The Bills choose RJ over Flutie. The Bills go 3 & 13 putting themselves in a position to draft 4th in every round... Selecting Mike Williams with the fourth overall and players like Josh Reed, Coy Wire and Ryan Denney. Don't all of you people stand and cheer all at once. The Bills release RJ. Buffalo brings in Drew Bledsoe. The Bills improve to 8 & 8. They believe they are on the way up. TD signs TKO, Sam Adams and Jeff Posey and ignore the "O" letting players like Price, Riemersma and Centers go at the same time destroying the Offense. The Bills draft McGahee. A great pick-up but he can't help Buffalo immediately. The Bills fall to 5 and 11 or 6 & 10. I forget, who can blame me? I'm trying to forget. TD fires Gregg. TD brings in MM. TD drafts JP and Lee. The Bills go 9 & 7. They believe the're on the way up. Again. The Bills release Drew and name JP savior, I mean starter. The Bills ignore the D and O lines bringing in players like Gandy and Bennie because JP will elude any pass rush. He's that good and #11 was that bad. The Bills, to no one's surprise, can't stop the run or protect the passer. The Bills are now 4 & 6 and on their way to another non playoff season. Using the formula that TD has employed, let me take a guess at what might happen in the next couple of years. The Bills will draft another OT with their first pick. Take a year or two to improve the Offense and let the Defense age and become ineffective. There will be another QB controversy. The Bills will lose some more because of it and then TD will bring in another coach and yet another QB. Am I missing anything? Oh yeah, more losing, more jerseys and more parades for nothing. Anything else?
  6. SD, as we all know, is #1 in the league against the run giving up a paltry 79+ yards per game. McGahee also fed a little fuel to the fire by saying HE was the best RB in the league and not LT. I think our #21 will come to play and hit the century mark against SD. I'm also in the belief that Buffalo will win this game outright.
  7. I, personally, don't believe that even the writers know which way they're going with the plot. I enjoy it none the less. BTW. I hope they never mention that stupid monster again. Thatr almost turned me off of the show. BTW2. AL's character definately got a boost in this episode. I like her! I still would like to see Sawyer smack her back once or twice when he gets better.
  8. If memory serves me correctly, I think Lindell's attempts were much shorter than Tynes'.
  9. Horrible performance today. I would not like to see this guy in a Bills uniform by the time we're playoff ready.
  10. this week. Maybe we should ask Eric Moulds.
  11. Check out MM's footage on BuffaloBills.com. He anticipates placing Everett on IR soon. Which is the right thing to do IMHO.
  12. For those that are holding out hope that Shannon's fine ass is still alive. Don't. I beleive she is off the show just because she has began a career in movies. She starred in the new movie "Fog", didn't she?
  13. Bills draft spot comes up. Do you take either one of them and dump JP?
  14. by switching to Geico. I've been invited to play a round of poker with Ol' Whitey.
  15. Is it just me or does Tedy Bruschi's wife look like Terry Schiavo?
  16. Branch's catch. You can assume it hit the turf but it wasn't clear that it did. I watched the darn thing over and over again. In HI-DEF no less.
  17. I think they will plan a few more parades. Come out with a new jersey. Bring in another QB that wears #11 (yeah, Roscoe will sell the number). Tell us all how JP WILL DEFINATELY be ready this time. Try to find some more trashy offensive lineman that no one else wanted. Let #22 go and replace him with a CB that we will draft in the first round. Am I missing something?
  18. I just sat back and laughed. I wasn't surprised. Nor was I angry. I just simply shook my head and laughed.
  19. You hit it right on the head. BTW. Does MM remind anyone of Dave Wannstedt? He is way too conservative.
  20. out on the market? I hear they come larger than Bill Gates' bank account. Pretty hard to swallow.
  21. he tells how he was sexually molested by his step-father when he was a ten year old.
  22. Bills | Parrish Loses Cast on Wrist Wed, 5 Oct 2005 20:05:24 -0700 Gregg Pastore, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills WR Roscoe Parrish (wrist) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 5, but practiced for the first time without a cast on his wrist. He didn't catch any passes, but did run some routes and saw some work with the special teams unit. Head coach Mike Mularkey is hoping he can spark the offense a bit. Mularkey said, "I think we're all hoping that. Based on what he has done at the time that he was healthy. He may have to get his feet wet a bit, but I certainly hope so. Especially on third down, where we have struggled. I think he could help us with our effectiveness there." You're right, it was last week. Hopefully he made more progress by now and will be ready to go soon.
  23. How many yards did KH throw for in the second half? About 50 you say. Hell, I'll take that. That's only 25 yards less than what JP get's in a whole game.
