  1. That video is insane! lol...rotten little turkey!

Did anyone else notice the police officer with some common sense that was discouraging the other officers from smashing the freaking window in all over a 10 year old child? Thank goodness for that guy.

Yeah, because handling him with kid gloves has worked up to this point. Getting a little broken glass on him vs killing himself and/or some innocent person tooling down the road. Mom and Dad need to get this kid some serious help, otherwise his life will be violent and short.

  2. He was 100% going for the first and at the last second chickened out because he didn't know Kiko was there. Kiko went to him him at the exact time he slid. Both in the wrong. Because it was a hit to the head it's a penalty and borderline ejectionable offense but it definitely wasn't dirty. Ive been hit on plays like that and I've delivered hits on plays like that. If you don't want to get hit as a QB don't go for the first. I learned that lesson the hard way too

If he was going for the first, he would have dove head first. He saw kiko had the angle, so he gave himself up short of the down marker. I have no doubt that kiko could have avoided that kind of contact to Flaccos head. No doubt. He made the decision to go for the killshot....almost literally. Eff him.

  3. Watch the slow mo replay and you will see for yourself. I've been in that situation many times on both ends of it. If you don't want to get hit dont go for the first. When on defense you don't assume he's going to slide so you finish the play. It is what it is nothing intentional about it

He wasn't going for the first. He was sliding, feet first, short of the down marker. I seriously don't know how you are not seeing the issue with the hit.

  4. Sounds like K9 Shield will be partnered with a new handler at some point.

The human aspect of the story is heartbreaking. The loss of the dog / human bond just makes it that much more heartbreaking, to me. I'm definitely a dog guy, and a cop. So, it hits extra close to home. Was lucky to get my K9 partner retired to me when I promoted out of the unit. Now I get doggie kisses for life.

  5.

Kaep is against dirty police officers, not all of them. I am VERY pro police. But there are bad cops, just like any other walk of life.

Soldiers? He's not anti soldiers. I have YET to speak with one fellow veteran who gives a schit about people kneeling.

We didn't sign up to protect the flag. We signed up to protect our rights.

You can't show me anything. You've done nothing for this country. I have.

Kaepernick is against what he PERCEIVES to be dirty police officers. The public's perception and opinions about the tactics that law enforcement uses are often rooted in absolute ignorance. Kaepernick fuels these fires with his demonstrations based in his own particular ignorance on the topic. He would get some serious cred with me if he chose to walk a mile in a cops shoes.

The entire sane population of this country is against a cop that is objectively found to be "dirty".

  6. Article comes out

"Bills players and coaches say Watkins has no dog in him"

    Day later

Watkins quits on route and has to apologize to 2nd year QB.

    Next day

Watkins retweets random fans requests for him to get more targets.

The picture has been painted folks, if you don't know what yah looking at yet that's on you.

I think the one "with no dog in him" was Stephon, not Sammy.

  7. I feel like there is this same thread every year. We beat a couple teams we aren't supposed to, then lose to a crap team (say what you want bungles were 1-4 entering today).

Then people say it's all good. Look what we have done. We beat (insert team name). Tyrod was OK. Trust the process. It was penalties. Bad luck. Could have, should have, would have. We are headed in the right direction. There will be easier defenses.

But I know deep down we aren't going anywhere. I hope I'm wrong, but sense that I am not. History repeats itself. We cannot overcome injuries and lack of depth. Same song and dance.

Cincinnati was 1-3, but carry on.

  8. There is a need. There are players and coaches on the team they are trying to win now. They may not have jobs next season. Not to mention the fans. When you have a chance to go for it, you go for it. We are in a better spot for next years draft then we have been forever. 1 pick wont undo that. You never know when you will get another shot. Look st the Giants this year. I like an hour from MetLife: in the media, they were taking super bowl in the preseason. They are 0-5...When you have a chance to get in, you try and get in. You never know what next year will be. Swing for it now

Super Bowl??? You think we are Super Bowl contenders this year? I admit, it would be nice to make the playoffs this year for the mere fact of getting that monkey off of the teams back...but selling a bright future that would hopefully include sustained success for the chance of making the playoffs this year? No thanks. Let the young guys take their lumps and see where the chips fall. Build the foundation this year. Next year, the walls. Year 3 will be the roof.

  9. This loss needs to be kept in perspective. It was fugly, but the Bengals are pretty good and this was our second tough road game in two weeks. More importantly, we've got a pretty soft slate of games coming up after the bye (three of the next four at home), and should go into KC on Thanksgiving weekend no worse than 7-3.

Perspective is in short supply around here. It's like few around here has ever watched a full 16 game season. There are ups and downs. They happen to every team. Stack wins, and avoid losing streaks. They've done a decent job so far, over what may have been one of the toughest portions of the schedule.

  10. Do nurses get paid for going to court?

I wouldn't want to go either... Especially if it messed up a swing shift and sleep pattern. Then, imagine if it's on their own time. LoL... You gotta Be kidding?' Go to court? My county (Will) seat is in Joliet. Go there and it's like a distopian society. Nothing but lawyers, cops, and concrete w/,pre-recorded messages blaring out of the loudspeaker in front of the courthouse... Instructing the drones (all the ones that are unlucky enough to have to be there) what the safety protocols are.

The judicial system is already a festering cesspool, a governmental black hole. Not saying your average emergency room is a better, but hey, it's a job!

Yay government! Yay healthcare! Let's merge the two.

I'm on the fence of whether you are kidding or not. I thought you were, but now I think you might actually be for real. Help me out?
