  1. Sirius NFL Radio's Training Camp Tour hits Bills Camp Tuesday. You'll get the "Bills fix" that you won't hear locally. Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan should be the guys doing the show. They're excellent at what they do.
  2. It's nice to have all of this "political pressure," but aren't these politicians the same ones who, with their neanderthal, self serving policies, let Buffalo and WNY become a "small market" city in the first place? Like people who get tired of the taxes and lack of jobs, you'd leave to go to a better place. Why should a team leaving be any different?
  3. Well said, Jack. The concourses are one issue. What about a renovation of the upper deck. Can a fan truly say they're comfortable sitting up there? They are benches with no room to stretch or get comfortable in. I've been to the newer parks in Pittsburgh and DC...plenty of room and modern amenities. The harsh reality is that RWS is not that great a venue and that it can't compete with the other stadiums. It's major renovation time...or sayonara, baby!
  4. No, Lori...wish I was him, though. He's talented, but I am a Sirius subscriber, who also has contacts in the business!
  5. Bentley was on Sirius today. One thing's for sure is that he won't be back with the Saints, since he didn't like the direction of the team. Pat Kirwan hinted at the angle for Bentley to play for "any ex coaches" out there. Could he wind up in St. Louis, where Haslett is? He wants to get paid...don't rule out the Cardinals. Denny Green would cough up the coin for him. A great interview on Sirius, as per usual!
  6. I'm sure the interview w/Marv on Sirius NFL Radio was more in-depth than WGR. He seemed a bit rattled when he was asked why he chose Jauron over Sherman when the question was asked, considering the track records of both are soooo far apart!
  7. Looks like our old friend Mr. Lebeau had a game plan to "rattle" Jake the Snake and the Broncos! Props to him, Big Ben, The Bus and the Steelers! Even if you hate Pitt., give 'em some props for a huge win vs. Denver!
  8. Should be a trendsetting decision to curtail all the douches who get drunk and make the game miserable for everyone else!
  9. Good point by sullim. Like it a lot. Empower the security at the ticket taking entrances to use their judgment to determine if someone should enter if there's a suspicion of being drunk. Plus, limiting beer sales and being on top of poor fan behavior BEFORE it starts and it would almost be a pleasurable experience to go to a game again. (Nothing like hearing the "c-word" desribing a Buffalo Jill, or, God forbid if you rooted for the other team!) The excuse of "Buffalo shouldn't host night games" is a lame one at that. If security was doing their job enforcing all the b.s that goes on in the parking lots BEFORE the games and using the previously mentioned idea, then you wouldn't have fans thinking that they're T.O. (drawing attention to themselves for boorish behavior.)
  10. All of the hosts and analysts at Sirius NFL Radio are pretty sharp with their opinions. It's pretty balanced, with praise and criticism being mixed in properly.
  11. Simple observation folks...the game's won in the trenches. Look at the successful teams and see how their o-line and d-lines stack up...the Bills better have have their eyes on D'Brickshaw Ferguson (OT from Va.) or the Winston tackle from "The U." Tom Ashowrth from the Pats may be had (another raid of the Pats for Donahoe?) Or, on defense, the sack machine Dumervil from Lousiville. Or, a DT that could be had who's unrestricted is Larry Triplett from the Colts. ANY of these guys would be an upgrade over the current lot on the roster!
  12. Just a simple, albeit hypothetical question, with the "heaven forbid" qualifier: Had this been a Bill, would this whole story about Bruschi been overkill?
  13. Not as disgusting as the Bills having a 16-7 lead and not having the testosterone to salt it away...maybe a lack of heart, unlike the abundance of it brought by Bruschi!
  14. They were lucky...we were robbed...the refs hate Buffalo! BTW...Bruschi had more "heart" than the Bills did in those final minutes!
