I for one, like our roster and our salary cap situation. I think we're ready for the season, hoping there is one....

Yes that has been discussed a lot. It will not be a normal season. But they will still play because TV money.
So would everybody be o.k. if we won the Superbowl this year, even if it comes with a big Covid astrick next to it?

I'm embarrassed to say my family lived next door to the Gronkowskis in Cheektowaga in the early 80s. I had already left for the Navy, but remember 3 little kids running around the front yard when I went back on leave.

Every team they listed made the playoffs last year except Dallas, who ESPN is infatuated with, and Tampa Bay, TB12 effect. History shows there is always a fairly large turnover of playoff teams each year. So I'm not buying any of it. It's a lazy fluff peice. Let them play the season out.

"The stadium has seen cost overruns and slower than expected personal seat license sales," seems to me the NFL has reached the point that their grand luxurious stadium plans cost more than the revenue the fans are willing to pony up to.

I would love to have Flacco and draft a QB in mid rounds. If we keep Barkley I would be very disappointed.
Flacco would be invaluable in helping Josh through the two weeks leading up to his first Superbowl appreance, and how to handle himself after his first Lumbardi victory.

I'm bored and like the post, thanks Shaw for putting the time in on your theory!

Glad we filled our most pressing needs during the FA period, this year's draft process sounds like it will be rather restricting and confusing.

This make the Diggs trade an even smarter move, hard to fully scout the rookie class, and possibly abbreviated OTAs/camp is gonna make a rookies transition (assuming you hit on the right one) even more difficult. As opposed to a proven WR that's already performed well on the NFL level, just get him the play book!

Jerry Jones is his own worst enemy...
True! The lights burn brighter at AT&T stadium, PT Barnum has hyped his players as larger than life, they believed it and want to get paid accordingly.

This was what? An 8-8 team last year with him, now they might regress because they won't be able to retain or sign any other talent.

I know I'm going way against the grain on this. But Romo annoys me, whether it's been football, golf, or broadcasting it just seems to me he's held on a much higher pedestal then what he's actually accomplished and I find that off putting. You can flame away, but that's just me.

He just cleared protocol from the preseason last week!! You are 100% correct but they’ll never do that because guys will just hide it. I have a good friend that played for 7 seasons. He was a backup LB and special teamer. He said that he had a few documented concussion but had more than a dozen more that he never said anything. As a guy fighting to stay on a roster he was worried about his job.
Yea, you're right, won't get documented if it isn't reported.....

This coach and GM is producing some ligit starters from the mid to late rounds so far. I would be good staying where we are and trusting the....you know......process.

I never want to tell someone what to do with their life but this guy should not play in this league any longer. They shouldn’t clear him.
Also, I think that it’s pretty bold of Brady to go to Vegas to compete with Peterman. I thought if he left New England he’d go somewhere with a little clearer path to be a starting QB?
This guys has had what? 7-8 concussions? If the NFL inc. really cared about the safety of their employees, they would have a set limit of documented concussions which would lead to a mandatory settlement and forced retirement.

Thought we could dump the news/rumors from around the league starting to emerge from the combine
We need to go get him! Set our RT and blow up the Jets plan at the same time!

I would be surprised if Brandon Beane uses more then 60% of available cap. He clearly builds his team through the draft + sign his own players
While I agree with your post, I still expect Beans to spend the bucks for a vetern position of need that will be an immediate upgrade, like the Morse signing last year.

I have a sports bar right across the street from me, they're having KC BBQ chicken, pulled pork topped tater tots, Buffalo chicken dip, dogs, sliders and sides, seeing how I took tomorrow off, I'll be there gorging with a pitcher of draft beer with friends.

Best Super Bowl story I've read this year. Hope your sister in law keeps kicking a$$ and the two of them have a great time today!

I read the title to your post and thought to myself he's fumbling the ball just fine and doesn't need anymore work on it.

I have worn my Allen jersey twice this season, both losses for our beloved. Not sure if I should wear Bills gear or just go with "civilian cloths". I will be a nervous wreck until kickoff.
I had the same experience with my new Singletary jersey, gonna compromise and wear a Bills long sleeve tee to the local ginmill to have wings and drafts with friends for the game.
