Sure, but she perpetrated a hoax that influenced the election and inhibited the functioning of the Trump administration for the entire 4 year term while creating a lasting false narrative the faithful still believe to this day.  And she continues to lie about it.  So it's okay to lie and fabricate disinformation on the opposition candidate as long as the campaign pays for it?

As for Trump I could argue no harm, no foul.  So the payment was classified "legal expenses".  So what?  What harm or damage did the State of New York incur?  Nothing.  Or anyone else?  Nothing.  The money was not used or derived from any criminal activity or enterprise.  There was no crime or illegal act before or after the payment.  The payment itself was not illegal or was the NDA.  No taxes or payments to any government or private individual were missed or mis-calculated.  There was no victim, period.  So the charge is a violation of the law that caused no harm to anyone.  That seems utterly foolish.  But representative of the times we live in today where critical and logical thinking is optional.

Even if there is a conviction which is likely given the stacked jury, an appeals court will most certainly reject the States argument and dismiss the case.  But the goal would have already been achieved.  Not to send Trump to prison but to tie him up in court and keep him off the campaign trail for as long as possible to give that feeble old fool enough slack to maybe pull off a re-election bid.  A diabolical but effective plan.

Any (ridiculous) way they can try and get him, they're all for it.

Did Letitia James Accidentally Reveal the Real Reason for Her Trump Witch Hunt?

    MATT MARGOLIS

    FTA:

James's legal team argued that the court should nullify Trump's reduced judgment of $175 million in his non-jury civil fraud trial.

Her team raised concerns about the ability of Knight Specialty Insurance, the company behind the substantial bond, to actually pay the bond if necessary.

That's a rather curious position since she had asked for a much larger $370 million in damages — it's as if the entire point was to achieve a judgment that would be impossible for Donald Trump to pay. It's as if the entire point of her case was to seize his assets under bogus pretenses and be a hero to the radical left.

As you know, in February, leftist Judge Arthur Engoron fined Trump $454 million (including interest) for allegedly fraudulently inflating the value of his assets while seeking a loan to build a project. Trump paid the loan back in full, and the bank he supposedly defrauded testified in his defense.

Simply put, there was no crime or victim.

These are all meant to drain him financially.  Now on to the appeal...

Like the liberals tell these girls/women competing in sports.  Its a man's world and fighting the patriarchy is futile.

All this irrational identity stuff makes me wonder why a dude wants to pretend to be a lady?  Your short a couple cards from a full desk.  I get you can physically dominate women athletes and feel like you're the top dog at something.  But have you seen the restroom lines at concerts and sporting events for the ladies room?  Who would want to stand in line for 30 minutes just to pretend your a big, hairy, ugly women?  Its not like you're fooling anybody but yourself.

No, no, they go back to being a boy for the bathroom.

Why “progressives” prefer to sh*t on women and cater to one mentally ill guy, rather than do what’s normal and right, is something I will never understand.

It's because if that boy who believes he's a girl isn't allowed to compete against girls...he'll commit suicide.

The Cards moved down then up again last year. I think they may well try the same.

It would be risky.  I think Arizona did it because Murray was going to miss half the season, thus making it a wasted season, so why not trade down and stockpile picks.  Detroit did it because they were targeting Gibbs with their 1st pick and figured no one would take him in the top-half of the 1st round (they were probably sweating-it-out when Atlanta took Robinson 8th overall).  Meanwhile the Falcons are there at 8 to trade down for a team looking for a WR while Chicago would love to take one at 9 to pair with Williams.

Which is why I think Giants make the most sense.

I would agree if both teams didn't need WRs for their franchise QBs.

It will be interesting to see how it turns out.  I don't think McCarthy will be any good, much less merit giving-up extra picks.

Not sure why you think that when Vikings, Broncos, and Raiders are all sitting at picks 11, 12, and 13 who each want a QB.  Both Cardinals and Chargers are both commonly mocked places where one of those 3 teams move to get him.

It’s like when the Bears moved up one spot from 3 to 2 in order to insure they got Trubisky.

If Giants want McCarthy, they very well may need to move up to 4 or 5 to get him to block the other teams making the trade up to get him.

The Cards and Chargers need WRs to help their QBs.  If they trade down to 11 or lower, they're sure to miss-out on the top 2, if not top 3, WRs.
