Good post! I use to record the game and then go to the down town public l;ibrary and do research for a book I was writing. I would hear the score sometimes, but once when they were playing Miami--it was the game in 1999 I think, where Sammy Morris played a big role in the game but fumbled late--and I didn't hear the score at all. I was driving home around 4:30 and I could read on all the other drivers faces that we had lost. Maybe I just read too much into that, but the people I looked at all looked so down and sure enough I watched the game and we lost.

I would just throw out the fact that he doesn't play the middle and so he might just dominate on his side of the field and not make as many plays going the other way. Just a guess

Good! It was getting pretty wired down here. They canceled some high school sporting events over the border in PA. I was actually on Cable Hollow Road yesterday before the sh** hit the fan. Yikes! So glad they caught him. Would not have cared at all if they just shot him 'resisting arrest'

I'm seriously debating if I should just record the game Sunady and watch it when I get home from playing Hockey around 7. I feel like I'm wasting a whole sunday afternoon watch a little football and a lot of commercials when I could watch the whole game in an hour later.

It will be interesting to see how well they play against the run. Remember last season's game at Tampa? It has to be better than that or this will be a long game. If the Bills have any chance of even being in this game that have to keep the number of penalties down. Seems like they did good against Detriot, but you know, that was Detroit with like 10 starters not even playing. I still expect Losman to throw a few picks, but if he can play mistake free they might have a chance. A lot of people have talked about depth of o-line, I'd actually just like to know how good the starters are and if they have the chemistry down yet.

Actually the city continued to do very well economically after McKinly was snuffed out. When the Bills were started in 1960 the city still had somethink like 600,000 people in it. After the Bills came along the city started its rapid decline. Maybe the Bills themselves are the curse!

What makes you think the rookies we have can't play as well or better than the players on waivers? They are on waivers for a reason, they couldn't cut it elsewhere

I'd like to believe our VA will do the best they can and will be well financed. I'm a Vet I both worked in and got treatment from the VA. I thought they were great. It was socialized medicine that worked worked. Of course now there is a new flood of mangled bodies to fix and it will be a long lonely personal struggle for those men and women. I imagine it will be pretty depressing at times too adjusting to a life where you don't have full use of your body. When I found out that Trooper died I was really shocked. I just thought that since he made it to the hospital and had surgery he would be ok with his leg wound, but even those can be fatal. Thanks for bringing up the wounded, I wish I lived closer to Buffalo I'd volunteer at the VA, even if it was just to BS with some GI who was there for a long time.

I agree we can have a good season, but I still don't think we will go into NE and win.
