  1. I attended a small college out of Erie, midway point from Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. My frat brothers and friends are die-hard Stiller fans. I made the mistake of attending the Monday night Stillers/Bills game at Three Rivers. The only Bills highlight coming off a Kurt Schultz interception return for a TD. I was wearing my Bills gear and felt like I was the new guy in jail - all eyes on the fresh meat. I even had old ladies harassing me at the concession stands. My friends still laugh about it today. They can't believe I was that stupid to attend a game in the Burgh wearing Bills gear and chearing for the wrong team.
  2. You are correct MRW - but those receivers and backs need to get the ball to make a difference.
  3. And 90% of the posters on this board will never grasp this concept.
  4. If they played with the same defense game plan they had against Seattle, we might have come close to winning.
  5. I don't get it fellow Bills fans. JP is a one trick pony, the long ball king. He'll hit one, maybe two a game then get sacked five times and throw to the other team. Yes the defense sucked, but JP couldn't keep our offense on the field. They got gassed pretty quickly. You can't blame him for losing the game, but you can understand why he's on the bench.
  6. From ZOW2 sad but true. - This game was a microcosm of JP's entire career. He's got his one trick up his sleeve (bomb) and no other game to speak of. He has no pocket presence, no clock in his head, terrible with ball security, has a penchant for taking huge sacks and generally makes the O-line look much worse than they are. This would be a 5-11 team with JP at the helm. I kinda' feel bad for him. Little did he know that Edwards' injury may have cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars. After this game, any team that may have given him a chance to be their starter next year just crossed that idea off their list. JP is headed for the same place that players like Harringotn and Carr are at. A career backup at best,
  7. This game illustrates why JP is riding the pine. Say what you must about the lack of defense, JP is doing the team no favors.
  8. Any news on links to watch the game???? I'm not having luck with Stoogetv.com
  9. The Chiefs are simply horrible. They are getting killed in Carolina.
  10. Panthers / Chiefs. Delhomme has 30 minutes to throw in the pocket.
  11. Great story. Wouldn't we all like to live that dream?
  12. The poor kid at Quarterback for Stanford has .02 seconds to setup and throw. He's been on his back more than Paris Hilton at a rave party.
  13. Peter King is a tub of fun with the same inside football knowledge as Chris Mortensen and that Pencil necked Clayton guy. Why anyone cares what this blowhard says is beyond me. He knows more about Starbucks locations than football.
  14. It could have been a very big deal. It's not about "liking" the guy either.
  15. I was at the Carolina/Atlanta game and had a great view of the call in question. Ed blew the call, plain and simple. Julius Peppers hit Falcons QB Matt Ryan as he threw the ball on his shoulder pad, not helmet-to-helmet. Bank of America Stadium only showed the reply once.
