Ah. Think it's the same answer though, due to the common game against the Raiders. Steelers over Ravens for now.
You seem to be right. Just said on Fox that if Pitt wins out they win the North. So now they need to beat KC.

Divisional record tied. Steelers have the better conference record (7-3 to 6-4 including tonight).
I think common opponents before conference record.

Peyton pretty conservative to punt there. Might not see the ball again.

You are actually correct. I just looked at it again on the playoff machine. I set everything to home teams winning. Bengals do need to win out, including at Pittsburgh in week 18 which is possible if Pittsburgh rests starters. Best to have Broncos win. They face Bengals in week 17.
Playoff machine at NYT says Bengals go from 6% to 9% if Chargers win, and to 3% if Broncos win.

That was great. Thanks for sharing. What consistently impresses me about the Bills, man for man, is how thoughtful and intelligent they are. And nice. It's really an easy team to like and cheer for, beyond the fact that they are Bills. And I think it explains a lot about their success, and how it starts with Allen who exemplifies all these good qualities.

It used to be that we used to pay attention to the power rankings every week to see if the Bills had moved up or down. Everyone would comment on the rankings - too high, too low, about right.
We don't do that on this forum like we used to.
Anyway, I just happened to look at ESPN's power rankings. Bills are fourth. That's okay, I guess, and I don't really care, but it strikes me as really odd that the Bills beat both the Chiefs and the Lions and both teams are still ranked above the Bills. What are they supposed to do to be recognized for what they are?
I don't know - maybe the both of those teams ARE better than the Bills, but it seems to me some leaps of faith have to be taken to reach that conclusion. Like, Patrick Mahomes is the next Tom Brady, and his team is ALWAYS better because they have Patrick Mahomes. Or, the Lions are everyone's favorite story this season, so they must be better.
Just keep winning.
Bills #1 in USA Today.

I get it. Do you think they'll just concede the one seed tho ?
I mean I guess they could rest guys now and take their bye week now IDK.
They look absolutely exhausted and running on fumes. So idk. I saw Kelce in the browns game and he looked like he had nothing left. They desperately need rest
I understand KC and Mahomes should get the benefit of the doubt but they look bad. They look like us at the end of 22.... Or the Steelers in 20
Agree. #1 seed might not be great as it could be Baltimore in round #2.

They don't have a choice. They are going to lose the one seed possibly with Mahomes hobbled
Number 1 seed is nice, but if he aggravates it and is lost for playoffs, much worse. Depends of course if he can aggravate, but given the injury seems he most certainly can even with lots of tape.

In their cheerios. I don't even know what we're talking about. Just joined in.
14-3 is all that matters. This year is all that matters.

Ouch.
Oh my God it's an effing nightmare!😉

They did indeed overadjust on the first two series after going up 3TD's late in the 3rd quarter and did not force the Lions to burn as much time as they should have.
However, the two series after that Detroit had to assemble 11 play and 16 play drives, the first of which took about 4 minutes and the second of which chewed up the entire game clock except for 12 seconds.
So they got too loose on two possessions but then played the next two correctly, imo.
Agree, particularly after rewatching the game. In focusing on the last 20 minutes and giving up 28 points, what gets lost is that the defense played a huge role in essentially letting the offense put the game out of reach. D got quick stops on first two Lions' possessions of the game, which gave the offense a chance to build a 14-0 lead that was never relinquished. D got a stop after the Bass miss. D got a stop on Lions first second half possession, then a turnover, to allow O to extend a 14-point lead. In fact, after O scored to open second half, the game was never within one score until Lions scored with just 12 seconds after D forced clock drain with 14-point lead. So, while giving up 42 points, D played well at key times and never let the game get truly in jeopardy-- I know it always feels like the Bills can blow a game-- which is as important I think as giving up 42 points.

While I can't see how the bills lose this one, they generally do play to their opponent and I could see this possibly being closer than alot of people think
Not this year, with the possible exception of Jets Dolphins2, but division games are a different beast so you never know.

Just heard from source Chiefs thinking 2 weeks missed time.
That makes sense. Two games in 11 days is a bear. MRI came back as "mild" high ankle sprain, so 2 weeks seems right.

What nfl defense would be normal removing 6 or 7 starters all at lb/db against the lions to be fair lol that’s when things started getting really out of hand on the defensive side

Chiefs still need to play Steelers, Texans, and Broncos. If they lose all three of those games, the Bills could end up getting the one seed, if they win out.
No, if Bills win out KC can win one game and Bills #1 seed.

Is there anything to worry about with Dorian Williams and Spencer Brown injuries?
Sure, but they have time to get well before playoffs. We can limp next three weeks and still sweep.

I hope Spencer Brown is okay. His neck injury looked a little scary. Without jinxing it, almost two years with the same OL would be amazing for a playoff run.
Stinger I think.

Probably because they are not casual fans that just look at the W/L column.
It is ok to enjoy a win and love what this team does well and hate what this team sucks at.
No big mystery. The bigger mystery is why folks ask this same question after every win.
Of course it's OK. You can do whatever you like. It's just that there is a time and place for everything, and being miserable all the time is sad.
