  1.   My DaCapo favorite.  Arthur Lee had a sound in his head and it took long time for the drummer to get it right.  I've posted their Glastonbury version before and it's worth going to Youtube to see.  This is the original.

From the  "Forever Changes" album, one of the best of the unknown albums of the 60's.  They were probably 3-5 years too early with their music.

Nobody is hating him. And being a "pretty good QB" is exactly the problem. He is like Kirk Cousins or Dak Prescott. Good enough to have a good regular season and get to the playoffs sometimes, but not good enough to win a Super Bowl. Not good enough to be able to put the team on his back and will them to victory.

Teams with a QB like that usually have to pay them, but then never end up going anywhere in the long run until they move on.

Sounds like you are describing Jim Kelly.

Us wiseass types altered 'Beat the Champ' into 'Beat the Chump', and directed it towards our less urbane coworkers from my previously cited industrial league. 😁

I believe WIVB at one point christened its one hour evening local newscast as 'Buffalo's Shining Hour'.  In reality, everyone in WNY knew Buffalo's Shining Hour was 'Bowling for Dollars' and 'Strikes, Spares, and Misses'. 🙄

What lanes did they use for those shows?

  4.   At least two posters were looking to sign up earlier in the year.  I said wait till the Father's day sale.  It is here now.

If your really into a team, I see this year MLB is also showing minor league games.  It is nice if you want to watch a certain prospect.

  5. RIP.  He certainly was a great story teller.

I really like "If you could read my mind" and "Sundown."

The line that really struck me from "If you could read my mind" is,

"I never thought I could feel this way
And I've got to say that I just don't get it
I don't know where we went wrong
    But the feeling's gone
And I just can't get it back"

Love can be very fickle.  It is scary in a way.

  6. First name that came to mind, Bob Hayes, the Cowboy.

The Dallas Cowboys selected Hayes in the seventh round (88th overall) of the 1964 NFL Draft with a future draft pick, which allowed the team to draft him before his college eligibility was over, taking a chance that the Olympic sprinter with unrefined football skills could excel as a wide receiver.[9] He was also selected by the Denver Broncos in the 14th round (105th overall) of the 1964 AFL Draft, with a future selection. The bet paid off, due to his amazing feats in cleats. Hayes has been credited by many with forcing the NFL to develop a zone defense and the bump and run to attempt to contain him.

  7.      When I use my computer, I have no problem.  When I use my Samsung Andoid tablet, it always starts at the bottom of the next page.  It is a PITA but so far not so much that I have tried to search for an answer.
