1. Correct you are. I didn't mean to make Parrish the main theme with the multi tasking. I'm just looking at our roster and seeing us realigning many of our players, much like N.E. Coy Wire is a good example of what you're saying. I don't know, the point with Roscoe I guess is he's a specialty player but in more ways than the obvious one.

clearly you really ddin't have a point. what are you talking about anyways?

i guess hes a special player but in more ways than the obvious one??????????

  2. While your post is well explained , please consider that Roscoe would best suit the team (permanently) as a situational 3rd WR/ Randel El type of prospect. It came right from the mouth of MM

looking back td told everyone he was oging to address the offense. he said there weren't enough playmakers. he got 2 today.

i can see parish as a long term 3rd wide receiver. he'll never be a one, probably not a conventional 2, but as someone else suggested..... NE runs w/ 4 quality receivers, and is very successful. 2 of them lack size, but are super fast.

if moulds hit next year is 8 mil he'll never be back. his retiring a bill has just as much to do with him as it does rw and td. I don't think this is a replacement. we have a new qb and want to give him a chance to make some plays.

i'm surprised by the picks, but think they;ll help our horrible offense

  3. We should have drafted CB Justin Miller or DT Annaj. Hawthorne both rated a 91 on Mel kipers 2005 Draft Report blue book but, no we take a wide receiver what the hell is TD smoking don't get me wrong Parrish is a fine player but not a need pick.  Frank Coyle in his Draft Report rated Parrish an 80.  Where is the o-line help?.  I liked Adam Terry or David Baas.  What about Travis Henry is he going to rot on the bench.  We should have moved up in the second round to take Khali Barnes or David Baas.  There are ten teams that have really helped themselves in the draft.  The Ravens, Eagles, Chargers, Titans, Jets, Browns,Vikings, Cowboys, Panthers and Bears to name a few.

    315557

first, how come you use mel kipers ratings to get a boost and then Frank coyle to make the pick (parrish) look bad?

second, i liked baas too. did you see where he was drafted? we didn't have a chance. our only trade bait was henry. all the other teams in league seem to have the same opinion we do. he fumbles all the time. hes hurt all the time and he's a cancer in the lockeroom.

what should we have used to move up?

if Hawthorn is so great, how come he hasn't been drafted. stick to your day job

  4. I have to wonder why we picked a return guy when we have guys like Fast Freddie (1TD) and McGee (3TDs) returning the ball. That isn't even to mention Clements.

Does TD think that Parrish can step in a be an amazing slot receiver.  That's what I'm thinking.  But why do you need an all pro wideout like Moulds, a fantastic 2nd receiver in Evans, and an amazing slot receiver.... when we are a RUN RUN RUN football team?

If you think back to what donahoe said before the draft. "our offense is weak, and lacks playmakers. we need to get some weapons" clearly they feel that the defense is ok, or can be addressed later in the draft.

    parrish is your playmaker

  5. Well said...I especially like the "fans" here who are now saying "I waited 8 hours for that!".

As if the Bills owe them, or anyone an exciting draft.  Geez get a life and move on until you see the guy play.  :w00t:

That said, why does "Avion Black" and "Rodney Bellinger" sound familiar???  :w00t:

    314884

hey john kerry, which side are you supporting?

  6. you apparently haven't watched any miami hurricanes' games lately.  this is a legit slot receiver prospect who will burn rubber.

i'm as surprised as anyone...but the guy has talent and SPEED.  you can't coach speed.

    314810

i agree, never thought it would happen. was thinking miller. but its ok. our 3rd and 4th receivers suck.

lets wait and see what happens.

as far as lt goes..... terry won't go for a while and couldn't step right in. either shelton or k. walker will be june 1 st cuts. we can sign one of them then

  7. Noooooo! Miller is a thug, like most players from South Carolina and Clemson. We can do better.

    314685

did you hear vrabel? talent is the first thing.

then you rely on your leaders to not allow the bs to happen. if we don't have those leaders, then you can't expect to win anyways.

  8. Rudy never voiced an opinion... he stirred the pot and ran.

    314668

    Justin Miller, CB Clemson

Trade up and get barnes. give away next years second. then we still have the 3rd from this year

i think hes worth a second

  9. Well, at first it was shelton, now it can be jj arrington. The Bills need depth at running back, so maybe TD told Az that the Bills need a solid backup rb.

    314559

i would take jj over travis at this point. if i was arizone that is

  10. JP would have been the first pick, and at worst would have gone top-5.  Just because Rodgers is falling doesn't mean JP would have fallen.  Most teams don't think too highly of Rodgers so no one wanted to take him high.  But at #24 or thereabouts, he's a good pick.

    314142

rogers fell because no one really needed a qb after tampa picked williams. not because he is as bad as everyone is saying. same would have been true for jp

  11. Rams snagged Alex Barron.  Mort just said that means Turley will be cut June 1.  I know he was a headache in St. Louis, and we can't afford him, but wouldnt he be nice on the left side of our line protecting JP.

    314105

i think he's thinking about switching to de. he weighs 240 and has back problems that won't allow him to get into a blocking position.

  12. What,  are you a professional scout or something?  Lose the attitude.  You're nothing but a fan sitting behind a computer,  just as I am,  and your opinions hold no more validity than anyone else's.

    314083

oh i'm sorry, gonna cry now? relax. i was just making a point. i get excited when i discuss things

  13. Jp would of been selected first. He has all the attributes of smith plus better mobility. All the draft e v a l said he would of been consensus #1 maybe 2 at the least.

    314022

intelligence, winning teams vs a stronger arm and mobility? smith is pretty mobile

jp had to transfer to get pt at tulane.

  14. That's debatable and not quantifiable at this time. Only time will tell...with Wyche and Clements mentoring him, I like JP's chances to be better than either Smith or Rodgers.

    314067

absolutely. maybe losman is the best in the end. i think he's way better than rogers, but would not have been hyped as much as smith. the drafts more about hype sometimes than talent. JP never was hyped up. smith was. he would have gone first.

i am happy it went down the way it did, but there was much disucssion around here as to where losman would have gone. not yet, in this years draft.
