  1. Because you realize that your post is nonsense?
  2. FEMA has to do with helping the city government get reopened on all levels, and helping bear some of the costs associated with it. You alone can't just reopen a public school after something like this happens, no matter how noble of an idea that may be. What are you going to do, drive the short bus and teach all the classes while working your normal job? Exactly. Its a quote from Family Guy, one that I find rather humerous. Although I never noticed that I forgot "-Lois Griffin" at the end. I love this board, its the only place that I've been accused of being left of Hugo Chavez and at the same time being a Republican who bashes Hillary just to bash Hillary.
  3. I find them to be quite fun, and always gonna have a good story and twist. My whole apt likes to watch the shows on tues/friday, and we make bets on whodunnit, 'tis good tv and an enjoyable way to relax. Um, not really. As you should know with L&O, the beginning is nothing like what actually happened. Those "jingoistic Americans" turned out to be muslim extremists making the crime look like a coverup by posing as an American terrorist cell. Yeah, this episode did have a message (the divide within the muslim community), but not all of the new L&Os do. In fact, most of them aren't like that. Last nights CI and SVU both weren't like that at all. The weeks before last Friday's didn't include a message either. Some of the episodes are like that, but not all are.
  4. I disagree with you re: McCoy. He scares the sh-- out of me everytime he goes to pass. He throws way too many balls between two defenders or that is a perfect opportunity to be a pick. We haven't played good enough defenders to expose him yet. Case in point: One of this 6 touchdowns vs Baylor was right to a defender, and the WR took it out of the defender's hands to score the TD. His decision making hasn't improved at all.
  5. I just got done watching SVU, and the rapist was going on and on.... "Don't you all see? Birth defects and sub average intelligence are common place now in America. Its just accepted, and it shouldn't be. Why does society just accept mediocrity? The right sperm with the right eggs should be able to change the world. We don't have to settle for mediocrity." Was that you HA?
  6. lolz FEMA. The one thing I do think though is that schols/other public services to be reopened does fall on the lap of FEMA tho.
  7. No. Teams who use their cap space on the right players to build a solid football team do well. Teams who don't use the cap space typically haven't found these players yet. And if the Bills pulled a DiPietro, I'd go to OBD and stab them all in the eye with a fork myself.
  8. I like this move, we get a DE who was going to be the starter this year in STL until he skipped a couple practices for a 5th round pick. A change of scenery could do him well. If he doesn't pan out, all we've lost is a 5th rounder.
  9. While that all might be true, he does have to factor in the effect this will have on any draft spot that he gets.
  10. Honestly, I thought you'd be a shitload better then you were today. This was a very strange week in football.
  11. Next Sunday!
  12. rofl @ borat Stewart - "Your film has been controversial all over. Was it controversial in Kazakhstan too?" Borat - "Yes, because of the anti-semitism. The Kazakh censors, after careful review, decide that there is just enough to not be censored"
  13. Buys? Those running backs got hit with sir charges.
  14. Deshaun Foster & Matt Stover Luckily my WRs were Houshmanzadeh and Steve Smith
  15. You realize that a TE in the middle of the field caught a TD today right?
  16. I'd like to see someone that could actually compete with Losman for the starting job. Schaub, a young guy, someone else. A QB can cure a lot of ills. I disagree about FB and TE long before QB, mainly because I don't think there is a lot of difference between players at that position (at least, well enough to not be surprises). I think you need to look at guys who can catch at TE, and guys who can block at FB, and sign them late. There isn't a lot of reason to invest a ton of resources in these positions. CB I'd put there as 4th after QB.
  17. Anyone else watching this? Comedy Central's comedians are raising money for autism. Its hosted by Jon Stewart, who is friggin awesome. His best joke 8 minutes into the thing was, "We're raising money for autism, but we're gonna be careful. The last time a Comedy Central show raised a lot of money, its star ran off to Africa."
  18. Losman hasn't played as bad as I thought he would. He also hasn't played great. There are three positions we need to focus on this offseason - OL, DL, and QB. At QB I'd love to see us bring in Matt Schaub to compete with Losman. Blalock at guard would be great too.
  19. Once the draft rolls around and they start looking for every negative in a player, he'll be labeled as injury prone
  20. Run past the freaking first down marker.
