I dunno, I don't get the feeling that she didn't know what was going on. They tried to frame it that way by making her "unexpecting", but somehow I doubt that was the case. She called the army in order to tell them he wouldn't be coming back, and she left as well to join him within a month of his leaving. While I'm not trying to defend the guy for going AWOL, I don't get the impression that his wife had no idea what he was doing. I suspect that she knew what his intentions were. It sure does get more attention for the media though if they frame it in a way that has him just abandoning everything to escape a war.

I dunno if she really voted for anything, but rather against a bill. Some people were arguing that it wasn't necessary and was more symbolic than anything. I don't know the law well enough to say one way or another. She's a zealous idiot, but you are stretching her actions pretty damn far. If I understand it correctly, the law prevents a partial birth abortion from taking place if there is any body part outside the woman's body. To know whether there would be risk or not would to know what exactly the danger is. I would imagine that there are cases where part of the body could be outside of the woman, yet the woman would still be at risk.

Oh lord, you find a quote from a non-reputable source, which is extremely twisted, and managed to spin it more. The *only* "proof" of this claim that I could find from that site was this: They managed to twist this into "voting to kill babies after they are born". You have them beaten, though. You have stretched this all the way to " having the right to kill children until they are legally an adult".

Really? Or maybe we were playing to, I don't know, win? There was 8 minutes and 48 seconds left on the clock on this play. By running the ball, the field goal was kicked with 8:04 left to play, and thus put the Bills up by a 3 score margin instead of a 2 score margin with 8 minutes left. It is not necessarily the case that they didn't have faith in JP or they are keeping him on a short leash. Actually, I think it is the case that the Bills are very confident in their defense's ability to stop the Jets' offense at that point. You run the ball, take 30 seconds off the clock to aid the defense, and then go up by 3 scores. Then you give the ball to the Jets offense, who hasn't beaten you at all in the 2nd half, and dare them to win the game. If this team had an offense that was much more prolific than its defense, in the same situation, then you throw the football. However, you said it yourself - we are 30th in passing. Aiding the better of the two units, the defense, to win it at that point is a smart decision, not a stupid one.

Vince sucks ass. He never could throw at Texas, despite having great numbers. He was lucky to win the national championship and he's lucky to continue playing well and win in the NFL. Vince Young is just lucky. I guess that means he'd score pretty well on an IQ test, according to what I've read in PPP.
