Does anyone like metal? I've been hard pressed to find a similar sound to In Flames. I like the contrasting of styles with them, Andres Friden does a great job. I've seen them live twice in Austin, and was wondering if anyone had a pairing of a similar band. The combiation of melodic parts with metal instances seems somewhat rare. I understand what he's saying. South Park's social commentary is rather obvious and shallow at times. They present it in layers, but a lot of it is a layer of "childish" humor on top of the social commentary, which itself has a single layer to it, and is not deep.

Why the hell don't you watch South Park?

Its not even that elaborate. It more or less a "we promised to do something about it, so now that we are trying, look who is trying to stop us and support a failed cause."

I see his point somewhat. Our beliefs, while varied, are a relatively small subset of overall politics if you look at it comparatively. If you look at it in an internal sense, you are correct.

The logic you have been using throughout your entire posts is that since x is associated with y a large part of the time, y was the cause of the event. In that post, you said that a large part of these events in the past 60 years are associated with Anti-American groups. Therefore, using your logic, Anti-American groups were the cause of the event. Yet, you post that these events were done by Democrats. Of course, this isn't a contradiction to your entire logic flow if your assumption was that Democrats were an Anti-American group, in which case you'd have a false assumption.

And you have the right to assume. Again, wheres that link of them talking on the internet and explaining their actions, rather than everyone here assuming that what they are doing fits into their view of the world? Um, no, there wouldn't be a major news story unless they could make a story out of it that would garner publicity and readership. Now, if this happened and Muslims got pissed, or the MSM was able to create a conflict between Muslims and Americans, then yeah, it'd probably hit the MSM.

Hell if I know, I wasn't born yet. I would argue that life itself is better due to technological advancement, but whether the Average American is better off depends on semantics which haven't been defined in the original post.

I too love McGee as a nickle. He strikes me as one of those guys who is not quite good enough to be a #2, but at the same time better than a nickle CB. He'll be frustrating at times as a #2 CB, but other times he'll be extremely solid as a #2 CB.

McGee better damn well improve this year, or we've got a bunch of guys who are good nickel backs and not much else. (Youboty is an unknown quantity at this point - could be a starter but who the hell knows).
