Newsflash for all of you Obama and McCain supporters: they aren't going to be successful in getting rid of earmarks. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/...bath_water.html Obama's plan is to simply make it more transparent, but without an actual ban on this type of spending, it will continue. Such a ban would be hard pressed to pass Congress, given that this practice is widespread. So the spending is more transparent, big deal It'll still continue, none of the big party supporters will vote them out of office for bringing money to their home district, and the other guys would just do it anyway. This type of "change" is completely useless and a waste of time, but hell, it sure makes us feel good, doesn't it?

Immigration's impact on most of society is minuscule compared to a multitude of other issues. It also is a very emotional issue for a lot of people, driving out votes in many instances. It fits the definition.

Good job satisfying Godwin's law, but that idea isn't anywhere at all relevant to my particular point, since there is plenty of well-established evidence that he did. No need for you to have seen it. At least you admit you have nothing to backup any of your positions. When was the last time you and Hardy went out on a date? Did you get lucky?

Prove it. Pick a side, that what he did was justified or unjustified, and support that position with well-established facts about the case.
