  1. Not back handed at all. I was clearly wrong
  2. Yep. You were right and I was wrong. This is stunning.
  3. Depending on what it takes to get him, if McBeane also can move up to get Mayfield, this would be heavenly. Brees would make us contenders for 2-3 years PManning style. He also gets a chance to thump his chest and be the other QB to win superbowls with two teams. He gets to go head to head with Brady and show him who is the boss. And for added measure, he gets to mentor another 'short' QB in the ways of climbing the pocket and passing taller than he physically is. Whats not to like ? Except for the fact that Payton would be daft to let him go.
  4. Funny you mention Glennon because thats the exact comparison I think of when considering McCarron. I am hard pressed to understand why anybody thinks he will be any more of a QB than any of the marginal starters/ backups that will be available. The Bears decision re: Glennon should be a cautionary tale to everyone thinking of McCarron, Keenum. What has McCarron really shown to justify the chatter ? I too am okay with McCarron at the range you are talking about with the caveat that we still draft someone in the top-15 this year.
  5. I think that's way too rich. Less than 10 MM per year is what I am guessing. A world of potential but inconsistent production to show for it.
  6. Didn't like him as a QB but appreciated him as a player, team mate and competitor. Good luck, TT.
  7. Shamless LAMP warning ...
  8. Reportedly, negotiations are stuck because Manning is demanding $10.00031415927 million
  9. Fair point, eball but I am saying that you listen to every offer and see where the Bills shake out in terms of value. I am a Shady fan so dont take this to mean I want him off the team.
  10. Only obliquely endorsing BigBuff's point, but IMHO, ALL options need to be on the table to get a top flight QB in this draft. I seriously believe nobody is untouchable if it helps us preserve draft picks and get the QB we want.
  11. Yeah, I agree with this. A mid to lower round flyer sounds like a good idea. Younger, fresher legs. I would like that RB to be a Bettis type battering ram for the goal line pushes.
  12. You have missed a full decade of incredible and competitive tennis between Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. McEnroe, Connors and Borg were great as well but the newer one is far better in quality and longevity.
  13. Considering he snubbed the Bills last year and the stellar (right!) Production after that, I say let him take a hike far away from Buffalo. In other words f him
  14. Love the signing. But more importantly you beat 26CB and Yolo and earned a badge. Quite the story to tell your grandkids.
  15. Have to look in the draft. IMHO, a DB should be drafted every year. Which round depends on the value and team need, but at least one should always be drafted.
  16. Availability, or lack thereof, may factor in many a decision this off-season. I would be on board with signing Davis and drafting another CB in the middle rounds
  17. Not to belabour the point, but it's almost apples and oranges. Teams would be looking to TT as a potential starter and Glennon imho would be fighting for a #2 spot. So technically the price would determine who signs first but difference between starter and backup make them different markets Careful what you wish for. Trust me, Glennon us much worse than TT and don't even like TT
  18. Not disagreeing. I read you saying 'if the price is right' and took it to mean that a team may decide between Taylor and Glennon based on their price. Glennon is way worse than TT
  19. You are talking about the Bills roster, not just any roster. is that correct ?
  20. That is lazy logic. If any team wanting a 'bridge' QB waits for the Bills to cut Taylor, they run the risk of losing him to another team. Said team would rather bargain with the Bills and secure him outright. My total WAG is that we get a 3rd rounder for him See my opinion above
  21. I think in this case price is irrelevant. I have seen Glennon playing and am of the opinion that he will be fighting to be the #2 on any team. Tyrod still could be a bridge for some teams. Hence, a team would be more willing to 'over pay' for Tyrod than pay for Glennon. And this is coming from a guy who doesnt particularly like TT.
  22. I am not entirely averse to the idea of picking 2 QBs with our first rounders. In addition to the competitive aspect, say both of them are close, we can flip them for a high pick in 2-3 years time.
